  • Surprisingly, we get asked a lot if we still have faith in God after all that our family has been through. The answer is a resounding YES. We had plenty of faith struggles, but we came out stronger in our belief of God. There is a lot of ugliness in the world and, unfortunately, in the church too.
When everything was stripped from us, all we had left was God. He certainly looks different than he did before all of our tragedies, but that's a good thing.

Thank you BOTH for sharing your testimony of continuing to walk with the Lord (and even growing daily) in spite of all you have been through.
It's so important for us as Christians to remember that the Lord IS with us, that He has never left nor forsake us (even when we think He has because of our trials and tribulations).
And YES, it's ok to express our anger and pain! Job did. God hears and understands! He is there!

Your commentary is needed because especially young people are leaving their faith when they are treated badly by Christian leaders or members. They can’t separate the representative from Christ himself.
