  • I once had the privilege to learn from former FBI agent Jim Clemente. His passion for profiling, the fact that he's a survivor of child sexual abuse, and his vast knowledge of abusers' techniques make him a leading expert. He really was a catalyst for getting me started on researching abuse techniques.
Deception detection is a very important skill that FBI agents use to determine when someone is lying. Everyone is capable of learning the basics of deception detection. In this episode, we talk about the different techniques Jim Clemente teaches for detecting deception.

26:18 Clara, that is gold. Abusers minimize the harm they cause. They want credit for all the good things they have done in their life even while they were actively abusing 😳😳.

Well, those emotions are something I didn't know about, and I've been learning here from the Behaviour Panel.
    Good talk, by the way.
