- I've read your comments, and I listened. The STOW wallet has been requested by many of my subscribers so I had to check it out for myself!

Cool wallet. Just bought the Ridge and saw this video. Think I watched you review the Ridge as well. I'm pretty happy with it.
I own 4 of these wallets. All different colors. I have carried this wallet for around 4 months now. By far, the best wallet I have ever owned and I own literally over 50 wallets, including several Ridge wallets and the Trayvax Contour...... It looks great, is light weight, durable and most importantly, easy to get cards and cash in and out. I purchased one for both of my sons for Christmas, and they too absolutely love it. This goes on my "highly recommend" list! You will not regret it! I know wallets are personal thing like other EDC Gear. But this is just my personal, unbiased opinion! Go get a STOW!
Lol thank you for saying RIGHT AWAY that there's only an 8 card maximum wallet they make, I immediately closed the video and thought, "well, that's that... I guess I won't be getting that one.." lol 😆
I have the 8 card max. They also have a 10 card max.

We both know that it will not surpass the Trayvax Contour.
@@raijinmadapaka just checked out the contour, i prefer the clean simple look of the stow, but also $55 Vs $140 they're not in the same league
My fossil leather magnetic money clip holds the same amount of cards, bills and is easier to get what you want while taking up less space.
@@stevencastro2856If you're into money clips I guess. I could then argue that a rubber band would also take up less space, and hold even more...
It is so much better than the ridge wallet. Much easier card access and it’s like a fidget spinner clicking the cards in and out. I love the hidden cash area too. Get one! You will love it.

Thanks for reviewing this wallet as I ended up buying one after seeing your review. I own a few minimalist wallets and this one is one of my favorites and is my current daily driver. I just love how small and light it is but still able to carry cards, cash and business cards. I’m even able to put my gym card, which is this small card that you’re supposed to put on your keychain, into the cash portion of the wallet. I love that the cash is not on display, which also keeps the cash in good condition and not getting folded or torn while the wallet is in my pocket. I’m a backer for the Grip6 wallet but will be using the Stow till V2 of the Grip6 comes out. Great review!

I saw your review on the Grip6 V1. Good review! I have the V1 as well but not the leather sleeve since they’re going to ship it with the V2. So right now I just play around with the V1 since I can’t carry cash or business cards without the leather sleeve. I’m looking forward to V2 as well. Thanks for what you do!

Great review. I've had the same leather wallet for 20 years. My ex bought it for me and it's still fine. I like this Stow wallet, but the onl;y drawback is that it's not RFID blocking. That's the main reason I'm thinking of changing my old wallet.

This thing is awesome...I've had the same leather minimalist-type money clip credit card combo (Brookstone) for 15.5 years, so when looking for a replacement, I spent waaaay too much time researching. BUT, so glad I did because initially I just kept seeing The Ridge and Tayvak, but I didn't like their function. The Stow was delivered today and it is easy to use - loving my choice!
Great choice. It’s really the most functional wallet I’ve seen I. A long time. Even though it’s not my edc I still love the Stow.

Looks like a great wallet! I would be concerned about my metal cards though if I was going to purchase this. Seeing how sometimes the cards scrape along the inside when pushing them down against the pile, I imagine the sound of metal against plastic. Lol.

I bought this thanks to you. It is by far the greatest wallet I've ever purchased. It's the only one where I don't have to take out the entire pile, and shuffle through to get 1 card. I always keep my military card in the front at all times, and this makes it easier to get through the gate to get back on base, since I don't have to take it out of the wallet for them to scan it. Absolutely worth the money. Thank you :)

Clan Stringing shoulda got the ridge bro, its better, it holds more cards or less if you want, it has a cash clip or a cash strap and it has rfid protection
Joe Mamma rfid is not necessary these days and I don’t hold many cards and it’s working perfectly for my needs so far!
@@highschoolautomotive2693 The new stow wallets can hold 10 now, Ridge starts to get annoying to use by the number. RFID is also just a marketing thing

Hi I've been carrying the stow wallet for a while but it damages the edges of my cards. I am looking to switch back to leather. Based on you video it's either the speak easy minimalist or the open sea leather houbei. How are you liking the speak easy minimalist so far? Is it going to replace the houbei? Thanks
I'm thinking about getting a minimalist wallet, but where I live coins are still very commonly used. I mean, whenever I use a paper bill to pay for something, there's going to be change.
Is there a solution to handling spare change? I don't want rattling sounds coming out of my pocket.

Hmmm. I love my MSTRMND Apex 2.0 but carrying a lot of cards and cash is impossible without stressing the design or using a rubber band, which are both not-great options. This thing might be my next purchase!

That is actually best looking minimalist wallet design I've seen. I have Dickey's brand wallet that I swear looks as new as the day I got it, it's pretty small (for a bifold) but I never switched to something newer because of change. What happens when I spend a bill you have clipped on one of these minimalist wallets.
That thing looks like it'll wear out the sides of your cards. Hard pass for me.
Not just that, it doesn't protect the open side of the front card either. And you still need to look through the cards to find the one you need. A wallet for me needs to protect my things and it needs to have quick and practical access to my things. This wallet doesn't do either of that. I luckily already have a wallet that does though (Exentri).
Would you recommend this wallet over the ridge wallet? I actually purchased the ridge wallet after watching your review the other day and it hasn’t arrived yet.
I would recommend yes but it’s not cut and dry. Both are great wallets for different reasons.

Have you gotten your hands on the wyn labs minimalist wallet?
I’ve only carried a week but if there’s nothing else in your pockets there’s no danger of the top card scratching. And no I haven’t checked out Wyn labs. I’ll look into it though. Thanks for watching!
Have you been carrying this wallet in your front pocket? My only concern is if I have my keys in the same pocket.
I keep going back and forth between the Stow and the Wyn. I like how the Stow can hold the business cards. But like the Wyn how minimalist it is. I don’t need the bottle openers and multi tools in my wallet.😁 Just sick of my fat stretched out leather wallet.

Ross Borgwardt Yes this is definitely a front pocket carry. And I never suggest you carry keys or anything else sharp in the same pocket as a metal wallet. They just don’t mix well. 👍🏻

No it isn’t rfid protected. But they sell rfid blocking cards to put on the top of your cards if you need it
You should check out the wallet from secrid, been using for years

Of all the minimalist wallets I’ve watched reviews on, this one might be one of the best. You definitely should check out the Hellbent wallet 3.0. It’s a super thin billet aluminum wallet that also has the ability to accept their titanium money clip. I think you’ll dig it.

The plastic card with the adhesive is how you mount it to your cell phone. you glue that card on you cell phone then you can slip the card holder on to it. this way you hav you phone and wallet together.
What about your drivers license. How does it fit
It’s the same size as a credit card so it fits just like any other card you have. It works great!
No protection for RFID. Gonna stick with my TRAYVAX! Still the best for me! Great video by the way.

RFID protection is generally a market scam. There are plenty of articles written recently about why you don't need RFID on a wallet. The trayvax has "rfid" simply because it is made out of steel. If after ready all of the articles about why you don't need RFID, and still want RFID protection, you can buy an RFID blocking credit card for your wallet.

RFID blocking wallets, sleeves, and other products offer protection against RFID skimming. The problem isn't that these products don't work, it's that they're a solution to a problem that doesn't exist in the real world.
