Quite amazing. For a one mile Group 1 at Ascot, usually it's a bunch finish with the winner a length or two clear. Frankel was 12 lengths in front, and the rest of the field looked like they had participated in the Ascot Gold Cup. A seriously brilliant performance.

The greatest mile performance of all time by a long way. Only other performance in history at any distance in my view that deserves comparison is Secretariats Belmont win. To open up 11 lengths on them that easily, being eased down on the line, was absolutely ridiculous. I think his Juddmonte was very close to as good as this, but for the visual factor we'll never forget this one. What a horse he was, will be over the moon if I get to see anything like him again in my lifetime.

Secretariat was in a different league than Frankel because he set multiple track records at different racecourses and could do it on any surface. Turf, dirt, it didn’t matter. I say this and Secretariat isn’t my favorite racehorse.

Frankel had Group 1 5f/6f cruising speed that he was able to maintain over 7f/8f. That’s basically it. You can’t argue otherwise, he cruised into every race on the bridle while every other jockey was at work trying to keep up, usually 10 lengths behind, and that’s before Tom said go. No one will ever know how good he was because nothing existed at the time that could hold a candle to him, globe trotting super start soft ground specialist Des Aigles did a fine job getting within a bus length but he was on his ground against a horse going 2 or 3f further than his best trip out of his ground and still got beat comfortably so what else can we say.

That was very very special but maybe the 2000 G's was his best ever win. Just because it was insane and not the way any jock should ever attempt to ride a race, unless you have a horse like Frankel under you.
I doubt he would have been beaten from 6 to 10f by anything. The best I've ever seen

There was only one group1 winner in that 2,000 Guineas,it was one of the poorest Guineas ever, and I would probably think those horses he beat again there were the same horse as were in the Guineas.

All the shitty comments about frankel beating nothing ye should really do yere homework before commenting. In Aiden O Briens words he said i would have a 6 time group 1 winner if Frankel wasint around. He also beat a french horse in his last race who won a group one in newmarket against a field that had 3 group 1 winners 🤷‍♂️ He also ran in bad and good ground. The best 1 mile horse ever plain and simple.

Frankel is the best I've ever seen and frankel is going to be the greatest sire of all time he was awesome every time he ran he just blew every opponent away with ease and Henry Cecil was right what he said that he wanted to have one more year with frankel because Henry Cecil knew that frankel would have got a mile and half and like he said that he's the best I've ever seen the best I've ever had and I doubt that you will see anything better than frankel and he's right because you look at the horses that Henry Cecil as trained over the years and for him to say that is mind blowing and he knew that had a very special horse on his hands

You don't realise it at first, but now I realise the lives these horses must live, in constant fear of being whipped to go faster. What would be better for the horses, to be dog meat, or to be whipped on a regular basis, and if not whipped, a threat of violence towards them.
I'm sure this sport would be much better without the whip. It's such a violent sport for these poor creatures.

Racing whips are much different than regular whips, they're very heavily padded. The number of whips allowed is also regulated and riders and penalized if they whip too much. These horses are bred to run.

That's the sort of distance you expect in an early season novice chase not a grade 1 at royal ascot.

Your own Cornelius Lysaght said Secretariat would beat Frankel at a mile. Frankel could never match Big Reds fractions. And what about Flightline? He broke his maiden running 108 and change after going the quarter in 44 and change in a hand ride. Imagine if the jockey let him run. Freakish times. Frankel could never have kept up

His best win was the Judmonte international 1m2f ... it proved Frankel could not be beaten over any distance ... had he run in the Derby he would have won easily, same in the Arc and so on ... best flat horse ever ... can you imagine him running against Black Caviar and Winx ... he would have destroyed both of them without breaking a sweat

By beating who? Premier loco and bullet train? Winning a guineas in an average time where no horse he beat ever won a race again? How many international wins did he have? How many 1m4f wins did he have? Are you serious?

There was no need to exert the horse like that tho to win by 12 lengths! Just a couple lengths would have done the job! Prob didn’t need to whip or shake reigns at all!
