Thanks for that….some of the others were complicated but this video is understandable. One minor problem though. I was listening late at night using headphones and kept hearing a dog yelping. I have a dog downstairs in a cage, so I got out of bed to make sure she was OK. I then returned to bed…my wife asked why I’d gone downstairs. Told her the dog was unsettled and yelping. She says there was no noise..told I definitely heard a dog noise. We have a little argument until I realise the high pitch dog sound is coming from your video.

So in basic terms. The player who wants to use the games from the other player has to have their user account on the player with the games account as my home box. And the player with the games has to make their account on the X box without the games as my home X box. Is this correct?
Every time I try to play it just pops up a window that says only one can play and that if you want to you have to end their session

The game share worked very well between my xbox series s and my son's xbox one s, but we can't play together. Whenever I log in, I get an error saying I'm offline and it wants me to test my network connection. My console also does not allow me to go online.
I‘ve got the same problem
The major trick is adding each person's profile to the other person's xbox, then signing into each others xbox and making it the opposites home xbox, under your account. Now Sign back out then back into each your own console.
what if you don't have gold or ultimate gamepass

Me and my daughter game share this way and have been for years but there's one problem, if the Internet goes down we can't play our digital installed games. It's says that we have to make the console our home console to play offline. Not a big problem but be aware of it.
So can both my kids play minecraft on both xboxes at the same time.

Hey, can you set back your xbox as the home xbox after doing the manipulation or will it won't work if we try to play the same game together.
Just a example to be clear : Can we both play GTA while our console are back to home xbox after sharing our accounts.
Basically are we gonna be able to play together if i set my xbox as the home one back or do i need to have his in order to play together?

No it won't work if you set yours back to home. Your Xbox has to be the home for your friends account

Does game sharing also work with xbox live?
When I do gamesharing it doesn't work for me. I have a series x and I have a xbox one. Every time I use my home xbox it takes away my home xbox on the series x. I have a alt account on the series x and xbox one. Why doesn't it work? I wanna use my home xbox on the series x and have my alt account on the xbox one play call of duty cold war but it won't let me still even though my account is on the xbox one and series x.
You didn't even watch the video. People didn't help you because you didn't even bother following the directions. You can't have more than one set as home. If you'd had watched the video instead of being a moron, you wouldn't have had to ask a dumb question.

I am little bit confused... Do you need to setup 2 profiles as your home xbox by adding yours on your console and the other profile on the other console as your home xbox so you have access to all games to gameshare?
Your profile should be set home to your friends xbox and his profile should be on yours.

Ok Awesome. Does this work for multiplayer? I have an Xbox One and I just got myself a series x. I made the xbox one my home xbox. My kids play on that one, but I cannot play multiplayer with them unless I am on the same console and doing split screen. I am trying to have 2 people play on the series x and 2 on the xbox one. Hello buddy, I’m recently having problems to play game-shared Modern Warfare 2 at the same time with my son.
Any ideas if this is happening on Activision‘s side? This worked fine up until a couple of weeks, now it keeps popping up asking to log out if I want to play simultaneously.

Before you do this make sure you are online when setting this up.
You sign in to your friends xbox and make it your home console and your friend signs in your Xbox and makes it their home console. So basically your friends account is on your Xbox but not signed in, you only sign in on your xbox, don't sign in your friends account at the same time. The same goes for your friends xbox, do the same process. Hope this helps.
Warning when doing this, if the Internet goes down you won't be able to play any digitaly installed games offline because you have to make the console you own your home console to play offline and you have to be online to set it back to your home console.
I was doing all of these because I just got my girlfriend a used Xbox and I wanted to take cold war but it didn't work for some reason, do both accounts need Xbox gold/ultimate for this to work?
Can you download other games that the xbox live Account doesnt have too on the xbox that doesnt have xbox live ?

So I have shared for few years now BUT here's my question. Can sharing a account effect your gameplay connection? As in COD? I have two addresses I play warzone at (1 is 45gb ...2is 220gb)but both give me an awful connection. I get battered non stop. I'm talking 0 kills every game to friends 10 and 6. That's on rebirth too! Been playing COD for 15yrs and it went bad connection on ww2. Roughly when started linked account. I've tried all recommended tips to improve ping etc but nothing works. An OP gun is not OP'd for me! Any help is much appreciated.
Thats a good question. I haven't had any issues with connection when linking my account. I have mine hardwired in, and the connection has been normal. I haven't tried in COD though. Sorry I don't really have an answer for that question
