@@mygermancars7264 Lol. I meant to state that u were a veteran head gasket replacer. Was not questioning you. If I may share, run the car w distilled (or reverse osmosis filtered) water and the minimum Redline Water Wetter, or the Amsoil equivalent. Warmups take half the time telling u it is so much better at absorbing heat. It's alkaline enough to prevent corrosion. Water pump lasts just as long. Good luck.
This is about the 7th HG I've done on cars I've owned , not hard just labor intensive as hell, as far as the coolant, its always ran fine and overheating has always been a issue for years, the main problem was the high speed fans never worked, some joker years ago mixed up one of the climate control unit electrical connectors, that disabled the fans, took forever to figure it out, now it works , plus installed switch at dash that activates the fans at will , HS fans bring temps down really fast, under 30 seconds.@@ebutuoyebutouy
Is the engine system ke-jetronic ... You must Replacing the rubber seal ring of fuel distributor Because it leaks a large amount of fuel into the intake manifold
It is, The car runs very good, exhaust smells normal, checked Hertz duty Cycle and its perfect, The California emission testing should have failed if what your saying is true, it passed . I don't hear any vacuum leaks. MPG in city driving is not the best, but it never has been that good.
@mygermancars7264 0 seconds ago OK , now I understand, I need to look at rubber seal at base of fuel distributor, did you see leakage on outside of seal?
@@mygermancars7264 The best solution is always to replace all the rubber of the fuel distributor, as this will make the car as if it left the factory ... But I start first with the easy solutions, then the more difficult ones
