Lone-wolfing it always worked best for me in Battlefield 3! Only takes one resourceful person to keep an entire enemy squad busy on the less-contested capture points, allowing the rest of your team to outnumber the enemy on the main capture points for the entire match.
I remember one time in Battelfield 1 where my team could not get across this open field as the enemy team had like 8 snipers and I told them I will distract them and proceeded to run in bizarre zig zags and let my team get a free run across the yard as it took 20 sniper shots to finally kill me. It was hilarious!
Let’s be honest, it’s always when YOU flank is when everyone suddenly dies and the enemies get a power boost for no reason. Also that ALT-F4 was relatable xD
This feels like when you are easily winning a domination game (literally no sweat easiest game ever) and then all of a sudden you hear "capturing A" and then the spawns flip, you get killed from behind and the enemies start making a comeback.
The alternative to this is the entire team flanks, thinking the same thing without realizing they’re ALL flanking at the same time. With the exception of one person, leaving one guy to be bait/fodder and allowing the enemy team to push. Meanwhile 90% of the team is still running around the map 😅.
bro literally half my defense rounds in valorant solo q... im out here fighting for my life trying to hold down A meanwhile my team is on a goddamn odyssey flanking them through their spawn instead of just rotating normally
I've always felt weird about this because I don't try to play selfishly, but I'm also always ending up 20-2 when I just focus on what I'm doing. It's when I play as a team that I'm distracted and my focus is slow. Thats why I don't really give people shit unless they're intentionally messing with the team.
That "Last Man Standing" callout always makes me start panicking! LMAO If you clutch it, they'll treat you like a GOD. If you die by getting shot from multiple enemies at the same time.. they'll call you TRASH.
Back when I was playing BF4, some maps, particularly linear ones, where both teams clash in the middle of the map trying to push each other back. But then I try flanking but someone on the other team thinks the same thing. Because the map is linear we would most definitely run into each other. It would be at this moment that the turning point has a turning point of the game; who dies and flanks the other team, tipping the balance in their favor. Good times.
Flanking is a lot more beneficial when it's co-ordinated, planned, and in a game where only a few bullets are needed to kill people, it's also best if you can spare one other person amd work as a pair.
@@joebob4579 Yes, games with short rounds are the exception, however, I didn't specify just those types of games, I spoke generally, this would apply to games like Arma, squad, Hell let loose insurgency sandstorm etc.
I found that flanking generally works really well... in strategy games. Like in ns2, when you snuck behind the frontlines and communicated to your commander that you were undetected, so they threw up a phasegate for you to build, allowing the entire team to converge and teleport right next to an enemy base with no defenders. In games with ticket systems it might work too, but it is kind of debatable whether you do more damage with your single life, than you would have protected if you singlehandedly carried the entire rest of your team that somehow _doesn't even manage to defend a single damn point for the short time it took you to get behind and double back!,_ by remaining at the point and holding it. Though nothing says it won't work in tactical shooters either. In siege the defending team pretty much always has a "roamer", to keep the tactical situation fluid and whatever.
The best part is he spent all that time flanking to A: not even catch the enemy's back and B: still lose the 1v1 - just needed a "this game is garbage" 😂

0-13 type of teammate 🤣💀
the "first of all I'm an individual" is so powerful
the whole point of clutching up is to make sure that the enemy team all disappear. alt f4ing is a very efficient way to make them disappear
What is "clutching up"? I'm not a PC gamer.
@@stripedrajang3571 In FPS games, "clutch" is when its you vs the whole enemy team, and you pull of the win.
@@Kunohen, I see.
@@Kunohen The terminology for team shooters in general, not solely fps.
That sounds hilarious, although I’ve never seen that actually happen in a game.
That sounds super rare. I could see that happening in Six Siege
I thought this would be the skit no cap
bro literally half my defense rounds in valorant solo q... im out here fighting for my life trying to hold down A meanwhile my team is on a goddamn odyssey flanking them through their spawn instead of just rotating normally
so basically every single game of overwatch
The rapid ALT+F4 because you don't want to deal with the fallout of your own collosal screwup, I felt that.
I've always felt weird about this because I don't try to play selfishly, but I'm also always ending up 20-2 when I just focus on what I'm doing. It's when I play as a team that I'm distracted and my focus is slow. Thats why I don't really give people shit unless they're intentionally messing with the team.
That 'individual' part is so got damn hilarious.
That "Last Man Standing" callout always makes me start panicking! LMAO
If you clutch it, they'll treat you like a GOD.
If you die by getting shot from multiple enemies at the same time.. they'll call you TRASH.
@DNAtion you ain't lying 🤣. God forbid you hide in corners and pick off the enemies. Then you play like a sissy/camper.
please dont swear and saying GOD without any praise to GOD PLEASE

More often no reward tho lol
I feel like you're basically the guy Caleb's talking about in the video but you're trying to play it off like it worked.
@@villain9482 it does work
I've had one moment in my gaming experience where I saved the entire team in Guild Wars 2 but other than that I've been a huge disappointment.
That immediate exit from the game is too accurate 😂 not tryna hear the feedback even if I’m playing with the homies
He was so confident in his plan 😂😂😂 the legend is back 👌🔥
Me, unironically. And I pull it off.
Good times.
Operation Locker/Metro never again. Especially on Locker in the tunnel under the panopticon.
Flanking is a lot more beneficial when it's co-ordinated, planned, and in a game where only a few bullets are needed to kill people, it's also best if you can spare one other person amd work as a pair.
Not really if the rounds are short like csgo
nah bro
@@joebob4579 Yes, games with short rounds are the exception, however, I didn't specify just those types of games, I spoke generally, this would apply to games like Arma, squad, Hell let loose insurgency sandstorm etc.

Caleb’s fake video game footage is one of my favorite things ever. Not just in his skits, but ever.
Right? The way he makes it look like a video game instead of reality is hilarious.
Lmfao I was waiting for the moment when everyone starts spectating the last man and immediately complains about where he is
I found that flanking generally works really well... in strategy games.
Ayo another NS2 player!
That insta-quit is the most accurate thing I’ve seen
Honestly, this happens every time you think you have a good idea in first person shooters
Did anyone else notice he ran round the corner at the end with a matchlock pistol 🤣🤣🤣 I fucking died always killed by that guy with the worst weapons
man that quick quitting was way too realistic lol

That INSTANT ALT+F4 is wayyy too accurate 😭
I always ask my teammates “how did yall die” knowing exactly how they did and it burns their souls😂
The best part is he spent all that time flanking to A: not even catch the enemy's back and B: still lose the 1v1 - just needed a "this game is garbage" 😂
His. Ping was too high
"Imma clutch up."
*Dies and immediately logs off in shame*

It's really true but like it's even funnier when you try to keep everyone together and they all end up getting completely destroyed by the other team who's actually trying
