392's HATE heat. If the engine is heatsosked from previous pulls, the car will go Hot Spark tables(lower timing values). Low coolant temps and low Intake Air Temps are ABSOLUTELY KEY to making consistent power with these cars. The Hellcat inlet tube(from headlight) is a cheap and easy mod that will also help. The JLT box has provision for it as well. 442 is solid for Tune, CAI & T-body. Nice numbers man! Just watched your upload last night. Hope the car is OK.🤞👊

Scat392, another great video, is there a big difference between my stock T/A"392" cold air intake that feeds from hood ram air, as well as, the front light compared to the JLT cold air intake? As soon as warranty expires 17 July 2021 I want to add a 84 mm "Fastman" throttle body with a 93 octane Jay Greene tune. With my 18' T/A "392" Auto. How hard is it to swap PCM/PCU? Are there any wiring changes to circuit breaker box and if so are those wires exposed?

not bad... what was the DA for the testing? That could also have a effect on numbers as well. If those first tests were at a DA of 900 and the new tests at 300 that could be the difference. Also too, if you can... when you do your in car commentary please fix that mirror mode! It drives me nuts seeing you backwards lol. Just hit that mirror option on your iPhone!

It most likely won't beat this one in my prediction, this fastman 84 flows like an 88 because of the half shaft mod according to my tuner and Dan who makes them. Dan is one of the only guys out there who is making these correctly. Thanks though for stopping by!

You dont need one to run the intake but you definitely should get a retune yes for the best gains possible!

Do you have to tune your car if you want use a the JLT and TB? Or can you slap them on and not tune it? Even if the gains aren’t as big.
You dont need a tune but I definitely reccomend getting one. Just get an email tune. You'll see better gains with one.

Nice comparison of the intakes. I did a track day of the Hellcat airbox vs Mopar cai a few years ago. Once my car gets back and we can dial in the tune, planning on a Hellcat vs Mopar vs JLT comparo. Be interesting to see how well each one helps/hurts a cam upgraded 392.

GS what's good? Does the jlt setup make use of the head light tube?
Yes it does, however, you don't actually get one of the tubes that goes up to the light, its just a big hole that allows air in from the light. Its a lot bigger than the hellcat hole though so it probably brings in more air I would assume on the street atleast.
What air intake do you recommend for a 2015 challenger SRT 392? For the best performance doesn’t matter what price I just need an honest opinion
I would reccomend this JLT one, it made more than the Hellcat airbox and AFE intake. Definitely is probably one of the best out in my personal opinion

You had an AFE intake at one point too? What were those numbers? I’m torn between the JLT and AFE for my Daytona 392.
I put the numbers up in the video that I had with the AFE intake if you watch the full video. JLT made 8 HP more.

485 crank. This is wheel horsepower. Add 15 percent to this number and you'll get the crank

Hey bro just bought a 21 challenger today i have my jlt intake on the way is it going to be an issue with rain water? I have the vents to extract the heat on the hood but its right over the intake
Also they have the water resistant sleeve aswell so that should help? Or is there a block off plate i can use
