    Your comments reflects my experience with the pen precisely. I too would have expected more out of a 'premium' pen, or a 'pro' pen for that matter. The term 'extra' would have been more than generous. I somehow hoped that we were only given the highlights of its capabilities but that was surely there was something more it could do. Sadly not. In day-to-day (heavy) usage, it is still worth having though.

    Just got one with the premium pen. After a few days, I don't think the shortcut button isn't that great (the options are underwhelming). The eraser function is nice, but I worry that running the eraser across the screen too much will scratch the screen eventually. I agree, it's not a high-end option, just two extra features.

      Yeah, the options for the shortcut button is limited and usefulness really depends on what you want to do. But the eraser alone is enough for me to recommend the "premium" version tbh. It's so much more intuitive to use it like that.
      I wouldn't worry to much about scratching the screen with the eraser - at least I haven't noticed any scratches using it for a couple of months now.

      @Worthless. sure doesn't feel like glass. But if it is then that is a comfort. Also don't think the magnetic hold to the side is strong enough. I've almost lost my pen twice now. Had to back track my steps to find it just today. I think the amazon-made case may interfere though....maybe not a pen defect.
      BTW have you seen that Tik-Tok guy imitating redditors in real life situations? Something about your tone reminds me of him. Lol.

    I know this is an old video (comparatively).... but, I just bought a Scribe, and ended up getting the premium Pen. I do like being able to just flip the pen over to erase....but, using the eraser end of the pen should also save some wear on the nib, since you aren't using the nib to erase. I think that's something to consider as well.

    Thank you for your review. I decided to buy it with the premium pen thanks to an amazon black friday deal. I opted not to buy the remarkable or supernote a5x. too expensive and also it's my first time using an ink tablet so. I really just want to stop throwing away paper for taking notes, that's it. remarkable is very dishonest in the way they do marketing. i was bombarded every day multiple times per day with their ads, it was kind of scary. makes me want the remarkable less.

    Pens just work on the Scribe model? Or can be used in all of the models available?

    Also have the premium pen, but here si My question...how long do You think that the tip will lasts??? Someone said that de Remarkable tips lasts a month or so....

    • @ChalidRaqami
      @ChalidRaqami  Год назад +3

      Really depends on pressure, writing style and how often you're using it. So it really can be everything from 2 weeks (heavy pressure, lots of writing) to 6 months (light pressure, only writing occasionally).
      But I'd say on average it will last longer than on the Remarkable 2, because with almost all of its pen types, you have to apply more pressure than on the Scribe.
