I just bought a 2019 for 30k with a stage 2 roush supercharger on it. 750hp it’s pretty fast it’s the A10. It has 56k miles on it. Owned by a college girl. I love it going in next week for e85 tune. It made 638whp on 91

I'm a mechanic too, I'd do it myself, but it does look like a pain in the cock. One word can fix it though, Odin. Better blower, more power, easier install.
@@jamesb1856 Maybe, looking at it on their site, you have no idea what it does or can do. Absolutely horrible description, it could just boost your car's AC for all it describes.
@@brent6109 the Odin is basically a vmp gen3 turned upside down. The put the intercooler on top because there isn't enough room in the valley for an effective traditional setup because of the direct injection on the 18+ cars. That's what makes it better than the roush. Google 18+ mustang and roush supercharger and you'll read all about the heat soak and high iat2 issues.
$7100 for 700hp is a great deal! Pulleys and a tune and you're tearing it up all day. Can't wait to see what the GT500 is going to do.
Back in 2003-2005 timeframe we could get an GT SC kit for $3K to 5K

I would never do this myself for the following reasons: don’t have 1/4 of the tools needed, don’t have the patience, rather work overtime and pay someone to do it right for me.

Mine comes in at the beginning of August. Gonna break it in then put on the this kit. Pretty stoked.
I just completed this stage 2 750HP kit on my 2019 Mustang GT I took my time and double and triple checked my work and I must say it looks great and is a beast. A few things are different from this video but overall this helped me when I had a question.

The kit is designed to be perfectly safe for a daily driver. If I planned on racing with sticky tires I would upgrade the axles.

Any other mods recommended after putting one of these on or is this good enough without having to change other stuff to handle the extra power? Any negatives to not having the strut tower brace on anymore?

Hell yeah brother..love it. I have to say this though, if I'm doing all that work to drill and tap a hole into aluminum I am damn sure going to install a heli-coil in the hole while I already have to put in that much work in the head. Heli-coil is much stronger than cast aluminum threads any day of the week.

The only issue with Roush is cooling... When the ambient temp outside is summer temps, you may get two pulls in before heat soaking happens. they do have the new max cooling package that will certainly help..

really got to pull that bracket off every time you need to do a belt swap on your supercharger that seems like a real pain in the ass
Just purchased my 2018 Roush Stage 2 & payed for the supercharger as well. However, my supercharger won’t get to the dealer until July. I really cannot wait for this! Especially when they take out the phase 2 kits:)!! I’m guessing a good 760-770to crank ^.^

It made 648/532 to the tires. I never tried a 0-60 or 1/4 on blacktop with street tires.

I don’t normally like jack shaft drives but I think Magnuson is on to something if you want a full front feed but do not want to run inverted. To be fair to Roush his set up won’t be maxed out by most.
Do you think my 19gt (manual) can handle that much power ?
Yeah manual trans hold this power better than auto!

Yes, same engine. Gt350 has a different intake but the supercharger replaces that regardless!

Amazing step by step video, but it was missing some critical steps, like they didn't show how to take out the ECU, didn't say the torque specs when torquing bolts, didn't go over the tools more in depth. some of us don't know the exact type of tools used like how you drilled that hole on the block then did some milling inside and showing how you determined the right depth. There might be more but man those were critical.

I’ve had a few mods to my 18 FN . I prefer NA : so I went with headers 17/8” long tube : 100cel cats : ported manifold & cylinder head : 90 mm ported throttle body : 4 comp cams - Cai : and tune / aResult - 594 rwhp.
Had to get steeda Anti Hop kit and FP half shafts . It’s very quick for NA
All the elecronics make it a pain in the butt
building a 4.6L on a 4R70W in the 1994 thunder bird i have to hold 25psi with two turbos would probably cost less then the blower ya got their. but then the diff and the tires would explode.

Bill, in another video I recall you noted or made a comment about heat soak and Roush would be addressing shortly. Have they addressed the concern? It would be great if they offered various heat exchanger upgrades to complement the package and not void the 36/3 warranty.
I am told the revision will be out by the end of the first quarter so hopefully sometime this month.

@@cjponyparts Update: I spoke to Roush today. They confirm they are working diligently on a revision, however rep had no idea of what the changes are nor when it will be released. Fortunately, confirmed they are indeed working on an update.
Bill, I am confused about how the IC pump is supposed to operate. Does the PCM trigger it to run only when needed depending upon temperature?

could you use a Oil catch can for added protection since you are now adding pressure in the crank case? And would it work with this mod? where would you put in just wondering?

why is the 2018 supercharger putting out less hp than the roush 2015-2017
How are you enjoying the roush setup. I know you don't drag race to need a lot of horsepower but, do you ever regret going with the roush knowing that you are limited how much power you can make with it.
I am very happy with the Roush on the car. They have an update coming which should make a little more power too. The Roush setup can make 800hp pretty easy so it really isn't limited unless you are looking at 4 digit goals.
Yeah I heard from lebanon ford that they are expecting roush to come out with a phase 2 supercharger kit. They said around summer time

Holy fukn crap!!! This would have to be one of your longest jobs! Not only was i impressed with the OEM look, but I think I love your electronic torque wrenches...are they Snap On? Im guessing id need a small loan for those as well as that kit! Will you be putting this on the dyno for a couple of runs?
vigilante351 we have had a couple around the hour mark now but this was a serious undertaking for sure! Yes that is a Snap On torque wrench and we will have dyno numbers next week!

Love your videos, I came really close to trading my 2016 GT in on a 2018 LFR roush equipped GT but no one could answer this question, How is it that the 2018 GT has more base Horsepower but when equipped with a Roush Supercharger its making Less Horsepower than a 2016 with a Roush Supercharger....The 727 over 700 was my deciding factor on not trading my 2016 in. I was really expecting the HP numbers to be around 750 on the 2018... :(
Rob J the 727 was a phase 2 upgrade. The 700 on the 18 is phase 1. With a custom tune and some fuel upgrades the 2018 with the Roush can make over 800 easily.

I have an 18 as well and was wondering do you have to change the oil pump gears like the previous coyotes when making big power
I haven't seen any proof the 18 OPG is any better so I would still suggest changing it for high power or high RPM use.
Will my warranty on my gt go away if I install this , it does say ford performance on the badging
MOFLEX MUSIC INC. if you install it yourself you lose your warranty, if you have the dealer install it the warranty is intact
