Wow, this is so inspiring! As a C4 quadriplegic, I couldn’t even imagine doing what you do, rescuing people, off-roading, and living life to the fullest. Keep up the amazing work, you're a true example of strength and determination!
This is one major reason I follow @BruceCookfmx. As many issues as I have, they pale in comparison amd Bruce's videos remind me of that every single time.
Keeping that no-steering vehicle on the road needed some thinking outside the box. Rory with Trailmater might have welded it or used his special clamp, but you just had your Yankum ropes & rings and a couple of helper vehicles. Impressive.
Would have much preferred leaving it there overnight and coming back with tools/better equipped but unfortunately on this road there’s too high of a chance you’ll come back to a vandalized/burnt vehicle the next day so we made due with what we had 😅 Thanks! 🍻
Thanks. I’ve worked a lot of crazy jobs like tree faller, and so much more, that has given me a unique set of skills to make the best of these crazy ones. I think we make a pretty good team. Cheers, thanks for watching
Introducing the family to your latest video. Great rescue, good work Bruce and Denny!!! Watching on the big screen now. Denny needs a headset for communication…..that reverse camera……wow.
Another great recoveries, I love the way you think on your seat, I was going to say feet, adapt and overcome to get him off the mountain. Love the Kenwood.
I can only like on this video, I've subscribed a few years ago, It's up to all you good people to subscribe to make this dude to be able to o help out people stuck on n Canada, I have cousins in Toronto area and I've been to Bromont, CAN for the World Masters Mountain bike Championship.❤
That new Kenwood screen is a huge game changer. Great work! Definitely looked like a stressful evening. Curious why you guys don't run chains when on that kind of ice. Is there just not that many icy condition opportunities? I never leave town in winter without my 2 sets of chains that I keep in a milk crate.
It’s been such a nice addition! I want to set up my truck for doing these types of “recoveries” helping people down the hill. On that I’ll run chains. For this one, we weren’t even expecting it lol. To chain up and chain down 40” tires would be a lot… but ya the truck will be nice to have chains on for icy conditions
Hey Bruce. How you doing bro. Love your videos man. Where are you located. I’d love to wheel With you sometime man I have a turbo diesel k5 on 42/44s for summer and winter Season. I also have a channel (Blazin Biddles offroad). Would you be interested in a collaboration one day.
@ damn bro. So kinda far hahaha Northern California. We primarily snow wheel but did some off-roading and minor rock crawling this summer. Not sure I’d ever Be able to make it up there. Unless RUclips one day provides me that opportunity. Some Of the rigs up There are totally insane man. When are you gonna go up in the big rig again. I love those videos.
@ thanks man then snows been decent this year but That all Came from One crazy storm. Although it it’s snowing right now but I’m just beginning to tear the k5 apart for dual cases and grooved studded 44s. And gotta do some Engine Work on the 6.2 diesel. Im making the video right now for all of the upgrades. Then we should have some bad ass snow videos coming after that around the new years. The other Rig I mainly wheel with is a 95 suburban on Baja pro 43s and he’s getting a 6.0 LS swap Right now.

He’s pretty awesome! There’s another one coming up soon that really tests his skill and reaction time. Cheers
This is one major reason I follow @BruceCookfmx. As many issues as I have, they pale in comparison amd Bruce's videos remind me of that every single time.
Cheers to Denny for all the footage and trekking 🍻
Thanks. It was a tough day, and without boot spikes, I wouldn’t have made it. Cheers
Heard yall like recoveries, so we put recoveries in yo recovery.
🤣🤣👌🏻 you’ve officially been pimped
Well done boys...Great job white knuckling down that mountain pass !
My a$$ bit the seat so hard it’s missing foam. Cheers
Good job, that was high pucker factor...
Liking the new Kenwood setup!
Keeping that no-steering vehicle on the road needed some thinking outside the box. Rory with Trailmater might have welded it or used his special clamp, but you just had your Yankum ropes & rings and a couple of helper vehicles. Impressive.
Onboard welder coming soon. I carry arc rods, but would have taken too long to remove 2 batteries and rig it all up. Cheers
Well that's pretty ambitious going down the mountain with no steering. Good work guys.
Would have much preferred leaving it there overnight and coming back with tools/better equipped but unfortunately on this road there’s too high of a chance you’ll come back to a vandalized/burnt vehicle the next day so we made due with what we had 😅 Thanks! 🍻
He had steering, it was my JK. 😆. Cheers
Denny is a rockstar

You guys make a fantastic team out there 👏
Thanks. We keep it real like steel.
That was nerve-wracking watching this, I can imagine how much worse it was for all of you guys. Great job!
@@Jade-d not a very big margin for error 😬
My a$$ bit the seat so hard it’s missing foam. Cheers
Wow that was a tense recovery!! Good job Bruce & Denny!!
Thank you. Was definitely a challenge.
Like button energized. That certainly was an exercise in patience.
The Okanagan Valley's getting slicker then cold snot on a doorknob 😬😆 at elevation!
Great recoveries, that are much appreciated! 👍
Need some fresh snow!
Tomorrow and Saturday?!! 🤪
@@buschmanMike hope so!
@@buschmanMikewe’re going to hold you to that. I’m waiting….
@@DennyOfTheAlpine 🤙 Glenrosa had a lil bit overnight, should be more coming around 1pm and through the evening...
Good job slow and ease . As much control as ice will give you.
And that’s all it would give us! 😅
4:06 nice addition foresure!!
Awesome video Bruce and Denny! Damn yall do good work I enjoyed the technical video, shows how much an hour can do to snow/icey roads. 🤘🇨🇦
Thanks buddy! Lots more to come 👍🏼
Thanks. My a$$ bit the seat so hard it’s missing foam. Cheers
Introducing the family to your latest video. Great rescue, good work Bruce and Denny!!! Watching on the big screen now. Denny needs a headset for communication…..that reverse camera……wow.
Thanks Don! 🍻
Thanks Don. Now I need a headset, on top of my head camera, and headlight. Not going to have the headspace. 😆
@ lol you’ll need one of those special forces helmets but with a HD camera… 😁
@ our current government has probably banned them as they are assault style helmets….
Great recoveries Bruce! Stay safe!
Thanks buddy! 🍻
Another great recoveries, I love the way you think on your seat, I was going to say feet, adapt and overcome to get him off the mountain. Love the Kenwood.

Well done guys. That was a hairy one for shore. Take care.
Keeps the blood pumping for sure 😅🍻

Lenny’s throwing shade at you 😎 and there’s no sun 3:36
He needed a bit of shade. 😏
Challenging recovery! Good job!
For as sketchy as that was, you sure went slow🤨.
Ohhhhh….look at that new screen…jealous!
It’s been so nice to have’
What a ride.
Let’s do it! :)
Great job I'm sure you know you could use ash from wiid stove far traction on the ice kind of messy but it's free😊
Nicely done
You’re up in 2 vids!
Good safe work
Safe as we can for the situation anyway 😅🍻
24:40 makes me think of the spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp 😂🤣🍝
This was definitely a tramp. 😆
@@cassiebell1483 I was like, what moment could she possibly be talking about!? Then I lol’d 🤣👌🏻
We are loving your channel. Thanks for doing what you do.
Appreciate that! Thanks for watching 🍻
You're the DJ Khaled of recoveries!
Cause I yell my name a lot?
Another One, Major Key Alert! We The Best!
@@BruceCookfmx RODNEY!!!
FYI..the camera is compensating for the snow. Boost it by 1 stop and it will closer to "accurate" under those conditions. Good rescue!
27:43 "The other "whatever" ".... pfff lol... That's a ZR2 Blazer!
🤣 yeah, exactly
Im thinking a premier power welder in both jeeps would be handy.
Bruce is looking at portable welders. I had arc rods with me, but would have taken a long time to get batteries out, and rigged up for it. Cheers

It's going to be an icy year,
Studs or chains?
@@kevbev1524 can’t beat a good set of v bar chains for roads like this
@@kevbev1524 having said that, for every day icy driving… studs are nice.
Bronco or Blazer??!! That is a square body blazer, they are a rare find these days!!

Pucker factor!
Pucker meter was right up there in the red zone 🤣

Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. Have you thought about having beacon for your jeep and a safety vest for your helper ? Stay safe 😊
well done i have never seen this technique of towing someone with a broken steering box.
We’ve done it a few times… it works… lol
A lot better on dirt and if you’re on flat or uphill you can cruise at a decent pace
Worked quite well. I don’t love ice, but we managed. Cheers
Your foot, yard, meter etc interchange is fine but Bronco/Blazer not so much…could cause international incident (51st state) 😎
He has no vehicular respect!
Lets go Bruce
Pheuf! 😅👍🏼
There's nothing like doing some sketchy s***, safely.
Could it have helped if you had the disabled truck in neutral compared to driving it?
What happened to your hair scarf/neck warmer?! ✂️🥶
Had to go!
