Make sure to check out my friends, Outdoor Auto, Toyota World Runners, and Venture 2 Roam! These guys all have their own perspectives on this trip and caught a bunch of stuff that I couldn't
8:33 @venture2roam… Justin at Factor 55 is going to be upset you didn’t have the HitchLink 2.0 made for soft shackles ready to go! Gave Nate a perfect opportunity to pitch the competitor lol 😂
“You’re my best friend”… from your son, who is joining you on a snow wheeling trip with a group of friends. You’ve won the game of life, Nate. Hearing you guys tell each other you’re best friends was the most wholesome thing I’ve seen in weeks!
I'm very glad you could make it dude. Come back after the snow falls a little more, and I can show you the epic snow quality on the west side of the mountains 😁
That Disco is one of my all time favorite builds. I mean, the attention to detail is freaking madness, and one of my favorite parts is the wire loomn coming out of the fabbed rear quarter glass. Epic build Nate!
Always been my fav offroad channel and always had great content. But you've taken the production quality to another level and we love it! Keep up the good work!
Nate, thank you for sharing your snow wheeling. I am from Texas and have not ever done anything like this, very cool. Great to see your videos, keep building and doing what you love buddy.
29:22 😮 HOLY SHIT! Your two channels are at the very top of my list of favorites. So I’m in the garage building shelves with this video playing as background noise and all the sudden. WHAT?!? Toyota World Runners?!? 🙌 I’ve been subbed to both of your channels from nearly day one! This is awesome!
Saw you and the guys at a gas station in Ellensburg the other week, didn’t get a chance to say hi. Love the content keep up the great work! Prayers for you and your families going into the new year.
I love the way this disco sounds! But the bean conversion rate is off a little bit. It requires a lot of beans to use and doesn't seem to create the same amount of beans worth of power 😆. I think some of the beans that are consumed are used to generate noise and not power. At least, that's my best guess 🤷
Ive been using that same Factor55 hitch link for years with my soft shackles! No sign of wear or stress on the shackles. I do agree the yankum one has a more pronounced curve, but the F55 one is 100% suited for soft shackles and is still better than 90% of whats on the market!
Looks like an awesome trip! I love snow wheeling and camping. I did a 24 hour recovery mission on Sunday to save a group of stranded campers near the Rubicon at McKinstry Lake.
In the eternal words of Mr. Steve Rinella “There are two types of fun. The first type is like riding on a roller coaster. It’s fun during the moment, but it doesn’t really stick with you. The second is a tough experience like a challenging, remote hunt that is filled with suffering at the time, but looking back, you remember it fondly.”
On a "good" snow year we've taken all day with rigs from Toyota's and Samis on 42's to 3klb buggies on 47's to get to the lineman shack. Cold, dry Eastern WA snow is nothing like the go anywhere, wet Western WA snow...
Thanks for this video. You just help me confirm my suspicion to not use rear lockers in the snow on off camber sections. I kept sliding sideways, when all the guys with no lockers just drove thru.
that was a good one... glad it didn't go donner up there on the matterhorn... that was crazy... i'd want to get out and cross country ski up there, so cool and cool to see your other rig that orange one you built, it's cool looking... it was easier for you because you have the adjustable air suspension to even you out, the other guys were probably making bricks the whole time.
Nate I’ve been watching you for so many years, and let me tell you you never cease to amaze me with your skill, positive attitude, and moral boosting. Keep up the great work man. And I keep meaning to ask, what ever happened to the dude with the beat up yota? Fonzy I think his name was
YOU, should be the spokes person for BFG's what you go through with those most people wouldnt dare and they just keep on pulling. Excellent work buddy.
An excellent episode being viewed from South Africa, where we actually have some pretty darn good heavy snow trails too. Great to see you push it to the limit on the route - nobody learns anything from the easier trails, even though they are a lot of fun to play in after trying the other route. Basically a perfect trip with both experiences. You're definitely showing off how good the Discovery is in snow Nate.
Good morning from a few hours north of Wenatchee, just across the medicine line. It's great to see the collaboration with Toyota World Runners along for the adventure as well. All the best to you and your family this Christmas.
I lmao “ Honey have i told you how beautiful you are today “ brother i feel ya being married 25 years believe me that made me laugh harder than i have in years , thank you for that..😂

2 gallons to start sounds just about right, the diesel defender guys figure I use a much gas in my 4.6 idling as they do at full throttle. Nice fun video
Amazing video and a snow wheeling trip! My fav, love to see local 🇨🇦Toyota World Runners on another fav channel! Need more of these! Can you snow wheeling near Mt Baker at all?
You need to have one of us backcountry sledders, to put our mountain sled on edge, and cut a track, on the uphill side of the off camber sections. Also do some scouting, to find passable trails, that the drone really can't tell, from above.
Marvin/Flex, Rocks, and Roll Overs and Nate/Dirt Lifestyle together…best of the best together. I’m excited to spend Christmas in Moab again this year, right when Marvin is releasing the latest 24 Hour Hell and Back.
