Sweet I love my snails. My rabbit snails are in a blue neo tank with sand, wisteria, and pointed spear. They arent bothering those right now. My mystery snails did eat all my salvinia if there some of that in there.
Have you ever tried to pull off Caridina without using active substrate? I spent a year on a 55 Gallon using dirt and wood. Took a bunch of Birch wood to keep all my carbohydrates dissolved.
As long as you can keep the ph stable you can do it. If I’m not mistaken they come from rivers with limestone that buffers the ph down, that’s why the need for lower ph
@@PoseidonsPets the tannins from the wood keep it acidic. To get it below a PH of 6. I added bags of peat moss to the filter. They're on their second generation so far. Hundreds of assorted Bee Shrimp! Enjoy watching your shrimp! 🤙

The mystery snails love floating plants! They’ll eat a bucket of duckweed in no time
