I have all 3! (plus the pixel Watch)
I definitely need to make a video reviewing the watch vs the Oura

I have the Oura Ring Gen 3 and I’ve had it since Nov. 2021 and the battery only lasts a day. I’m frustrated that it isn’t lasting long. I’ve reset it and that didn’t help.

i follow the philosophy of the more trackers the better!!

Oura Ring is the most accurate thing I have to track my period but I don't use their prediction. I actually found I get my period on the 10th day after my temperature starts to rise... extremely accurate. Gets the first day right every time the whole time I've been tracking...

Hi Katie, (Not sure if you are aware of this) but I was in contact with Oura, and told them I do not like their new subscription option. I asked if there was an option for the Gen 3 without a subscription and fully functioning. They told me if I buy one of the designer Oura rings like the Gucci Oura rings. you receive a gen 3 and NO SUBSCRIPTION, with all functions.
Yes, it is more expensive, but if we are looking to wear one of the top great trackers, which are not big and bulky, and EMF's are important to you , and you hate to get into subscriptions for life, (which I do!), then the cost may be worth it! My health is very important, a tracker motivates me, and hey, the ring is a gorgeous piece of jewelry with a functional purpose. 💖😊.
I am also thinking of getting one for my husband because he lost a lot of weight, and I want to support his goal of keeping it off, and we are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. I thought they would be a great healthy, loving anniversary gift, and to remind us every day how far we have come. We are going next week to look at them and try them on.

i had no idea about that - thanks for letting me know! I agree the Gucci edition is gorgeous (albeit expensive). But hey, if it incentivizes you to wear it, then I'd say go for it! Thanks for sharing and keep me posted on how it goes :)

The problem is it costs $950 and it lasts around 3 years. 3 years of standard oura would be around $500 with subscription so yo could get one for you and husband with that money.

Hey 😊 I just watched a video of someone comparing the exact same object (oura ring) during one night.
The result of both were quite different. I think that comparing two same objects during one night might be a really good idea to test the accuracy.
    Great video !!!

I'm really surprised Oura is still around. Years ago they had the worst support I personally have ever encountered..... they didn't answers to support requests at all. For a device with a price like the Oura this is a definite no go.

Just wanted to chime in as a Whoop fan, it does detect a workout of 15 minutes or more automatically. So that’s a pro. 😊

Regarding Oura's tags, have you used the Oura cloud? You can correlate tags to metrics.

The Oura Ring 3 has been a real disappointment. I had the Gen 2 and it worked great, and I was fine. However, the Oura ring 3 only lasts 1 night! I contacted support and their response was turn off the new features to improve battery and maybe one day it will improve with a firmware update.

Why specifically are you comparing these two trackers to the Apple Watch Ultra instead of just the Apple Watch in general? The average person is not going to get the ultra and it looks like you have an Apple Watch they roughly do the same thing.

I wished you had included Garmin. Had you compared the new Garmin watches, you would have seen that they reasonably match sleep tracking at a total lower cost (especially with the 955 and 255 series) than any of those you reviewed plus they have a much broader useage and application for many activities.

thanks so much! maybe i'll give it a try and do a review in the New Year. In the meantime, Shervin has some new videos out on the Garmin and how it compares ot the Apple watch.

In depth discussion would be better. This overview is very basic.
