- Viltrox has made a very compelling lens that gives you bokeh for days at a really good price.

Did you read until the end? Tidbit about me - I am never really comfortable in pants.

Thanks for many useful, fun and charming videos, like this one. Love your short digressions and your quick humour
Many thanks!
Really nice, informative, and useful review. Thanks 😁
No problem!
I love your sense of humor!
I like your comments. It is like watching a stand-up comedy. Keep it up.
My 23mm Viltrox AF gets a lot of use. It's a great lens for interviews, talking head and it rides a gimbal well. I like Viltrox lenses ... I would certainly consider this one ...good show and tell ... Cheers.
I gotta get one of those 23mm in!! Thanks, J.R.
looking forward to see more of the tousled hair pics in the next vids ❤️
🤣🤣
Thank you so much for the review!!! I was thinking about buying it, but after watching it, I'm going to buy the sigma myself! Saved my day! thank you master!! and byby
🤣
Love the modeling =D
You've got a good eye
I see that Samuel Adams has started brewing apple juice and sent you a pre-release case. You apparently get some nice perks when you have 211M subs! - Great video, Mark!
I signed an embargo agreement with Samuel Adam’s apple juice - they’re gonna be sooo mad!!
Thanks for the review.
I like shooting with aperture rings. Probably because I'm old. So if it was klicketyklicky and useable it would probably have been a no-brainer for me.
I know - I would have been very happy to use it as my main portrait of the ring was better
How did this video slip by my wandering camera crisis eyes? Great review, Mark.
Even though it's an APS-C lens, for the price it's pretty close to a steal. In regards to the softness of the Viltrox lens, this can actually be considered more "filmic". Since real film tends to produce imagery that is somewhat softer than digital film, the characteristics of this Viltrox lens can be more beneficial when shooting narrative content.
This lens is a serious contender. If I do get it, I'll be sure to use your link. Cheers.
It’s really quite good. If the aperture ring had been clicky, it would have been a strong recommendation
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis True. I prefer to change my aperture quickly without having to "hunt" for it. I'll leave the hunting to Panasonic autofocus. Was that too mean?
@@AllThingsFilm1 Nope Panasonic deserve it for not doing the right thing!!
almost at 10k let's go baby!!!!! also, love that the personality is coming out more. if you can't be goofy talking to yourself then you'd have to be boring around other people.
Since you already look like a lunatic talking to a camera on a stick - you might as well have some fun. 🤣
Hi Mark! Really enjoy your videos lately. I just want to ask what best lens I could get on $200 - $250?. I'm not a professional guy, and I just want to take good picture and some documentary videos for my job and like you did, I would pair that with my ZV E10. Could you give me an advice?
try the Viltrox 23mm 1.4 23 amzn.to/3FgW6Nx or the sogma 30mm 1.4 amzn.to/3LlFBnu if you can find the, used - they might be in that 250 range
I found your channel recently and I really wanna get started in film making. I was wondering if there is a anamorphic lens you would recommend for little Duggy?
The only anamorphic lenses I would look at are the Siri lenses. most anamorphic lenses are crazy expensive. but these ones are making anamorphic more accessible store.sirui.com/collections/aps-c-lens
short but good
Ha - I was worried it was too long 🤣🤣
Upgrade your studio only you make very informative video always maintain this accent in future
Love from India ❤
Whoe you created a strange effect when you walked away from the camera at 2:27, looked like the incredible shrinking man ...cool! Sorry I digress,I really enjoyed your review of the lens, as you say at the quality and price are good :)
I've been called the new Hitchcock - by me.
Budget lenses have really come along way!
A few tweaks and they will be indistinguishable from the big boys
Enjoying and learning from these. Your sister is going to get after you Bro. It might go badly. Best
Hahahaha “I asked him to smile and that’s what he came up with”
It’s true 🤣
First 22 sec made me sub.
Hopefully the next 22 didn’t make you unsub 🤣
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis 🤩haha izzz all good! x-mount user here I also have the 56mm, its nice to watch videos from another camera system user. =) I'm considering selling 56mm viltrox for the 56mm of sigma. The PF is a bother (shooting mostly SOOC) and the size of the 56mm sigma is preferable.
Is it possible to somehow get an external EVF on the ZV-e10? If only the e10 normally had one...
external EVf’s exist, but the one for Sony is very expensive and takes all the value out of the camera. if you need an EVF, you’re better off going with the a6400 in my opinion
Which Should i get the viltrox 56mm f1.4 or sigma 30mm f1.4 for sony a6000???confused answer please.....❤vitrox is around 250$ and the sigma is around 300$
what are you taking photos of?
Which one has better AF? Vil56 or Sig56? and Which one has the least focus breathing?
sigma better
Hope they make one for MFT that isn't 100mm equivalent :)
Also, is it just me or there's something weird going on with your skintones in the studio shots (around 3:00 mark, for example)?
The studio shots look the same when I view it. Do you mean they are changing while I sit in the studio? Or just weird in general?
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis I mean that the skin looks a bit low contrast in the studio clips, if that makes sense :)
@@yawningmarmot The white balance was probably a little different compared to the outdoor shots. And I think I colour graded the outdoor shots a little heavier. Plus, they were different cams. No consistency on my channel 🤣🤣
Your sub numbers shown in the subscribe button in the video are ❤. Thinking of this rather than the Sigma 1.4 56 mm on price (150 € difference in EU).
awe video, first 30 seconds made me laugh
I have this lens for the X mount. It’s a great bargain lens. It looks great and is built well like you said! Fuji’s AF just isn’t on par with Sony’s AF, which isn’t Viltrox’s fault!
Yes - their Fuji version is pretty popular!!
nope, not getting it. sigma 56 costs only 50 usd more here on amazon india.
anyways, always enjoy your videos. thanks!!
That’s a no-brainer!!😁
How's the auto focus in Video with Zve10
it's perfect
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis is the auto focus better than the sony 50mm f1.8 oss apsc
Sony's own lenses are usually the safest bet. I would say they're pretty equal
I've gotten as far as the intro with your portrait shots, and I was laughing so loud my family should be checking on my welfare. 🤣
It’s my welfare people should be checking on 😂
a minha é Viltrox 56mm F1.4
1:25 - Needs more background blur. I can still sort of see the street 🤣
I need a .05 for proper Toneh
How the F did I miss this lens??? Adding to my wife wallet list
We definitely need to talk about the elephant in the room.... what the hell is an elephant doing in that room?!
I barely have any room as it is. Stupid elephant
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Elephants are ruining America! :P
Does anyone here encounter weird bokeh flicker when it comes to video? ZV-E10 with viltrox 56mm
