5:10 So I remember getting stuck at the bees as a kid. I tried brute forcing it so many times by just carefully avoiding the bees and finally did it after probably months of effort. I thought it was just a poorly designed hard task and only later figured out the bug zapper. Guess we had much more free time to just bang our heads against the wall back then when confronted with impossible video game tasks.
@@StevenKellyBelly nah. I kinda wish Horace was dead now. And I wish Hugo killed him, and then killed himself and everyone else. The only good characters in this game were the maid and penelope for having to suffer through this idiocy like a champ lol. Maid: Blah blah blah blah blah! That almost 'maid' it worth it 😅
I've recalled this game about this game every few years for what's gotta be 25 years at this point. I don't think I made it past the 6ish minute mark, I think with the bees. I have started and not finished countless games in the time since that I don't care about but this game has always bothered me when I remembered it. I'm not sure if I'm angered or relieved watching this video. "shareware", wow that brings back memories.
I recently found a site of DOS games, and I was playing this today. Thank you so much for the help! Some of those puzzles made no sense to me, like how to cross the chasm. And I swear I typed in "open safe with screwdriver" at least three times and it didn't work, so I'm glad I saw proof that it is the right command. But seriously... that ending... how is anyone supposed to figure that out?!
"Nobody" is one of two correct answers you can give. Harry being the other. But of course, the only reason to pin him on at all was the fact that he laughed about the idea earlier.
I’ve been having flashbacks of this game randomly and I couldn’t ever figure out what the game was called, as I looked harder I couldn’t believe it this is the old game I use to play as a kid…. I have memories for game’s similar like this… like a game of clues and a little girl hiding In The back or something….

THATS IT!? THATS THE STORY OF THE GAME I COULDNT BEAT AS A CHILD....taking it back...getting a refund....dont care if its over 20 years old...
Fr... Omg what a stupid story
Right
This game can be beaten in under 30 minutes and it still feels excruciatingly slow.
WTF!
After all those years I finally saw the end and is that?
aren't you glad he's ok tho

All the hours spent playing this game...and it can be completed in under half an hour
That Doctor Who reference made me like this even more.

14:53 OH MY NOW I'VE SEEN IT ALL an Unknown Game from the 90's with a Crossover with Doctor Who........... who would have though?
Great to see this classic strategy game on utube🤓, cheers for the hacks,😆😆👍

Doctor Who
Shock horror!! How did anyone ever finish this game? Puzzle answers seem to be completely random. “Give banana to Genie”?!?
I NEVER knew how to get past the chasm in the cave!!!!
I haven't played this game for over 20 years but I think I got stuck on the part where Penelope ended up on the streets with the pay phone.
You actually had to think to play games in the old days
If you talk to the genie he says he would do anything for a banana, especially a “moldy” one
The vast majority of this game is hedge maze
@11:00 I always dropped the matches in the water😂
Me too, man... me too.
the part after you get out of the dumb waiter is where i always got stuck
What, you don't even have to get in the dumbwaiter? I always got stuck in the maze
No gun safety in the 90s. Just lying around a maze

What color is Penelope's dress?
gold
gold
blue
It wasn't.
Cyan is official name. It's either color 3 or 11 on the 16 colors of EGA.
12:28 Best Part When The Young Woman Wants To Push That Evil Old Woman
I know she gets a Evil Smiling Face
Isn't that an old man?
Her dress changes colors like that one dress people asked if it was blue or gold.
Penelope takes no shit from anybody. Lol
i remember my childhood hehe
How did they keep the matches from getting wet?
I’d love to see this game redone with Tomb Raider II style graphics. Vibe of this game was kinda like roaming around Lara’s mansion.
This was the hardest in the trilogy.
ty
HUGO 2?!?!?!?!? WHAT THE MOTHER LOVING?!?!?
Can't take small steps, my character keeps walking nonstop making the game unbeatable
How do you know the phone number?
If you walk down the street its on a piece of graffiti
Yzzyxz, didnt you have a playthrough of this from like 10 years ago? Why is this one so new?
Hello?
Glad I’m not the only one who was absolutely stumped by this at 8 years old. 🥲
Even watching this walkthrough I have no idea how you were supposed to figure it out. There weren’t any clues that it wasn’t a real murder!
