I used to play Leisure Suit Larry with a buddy of mine on his Packard Bell. We were probably around 16 years of age. We did not know the Ctrl+Alt+X key combo. We would have his set of Britannica's out looking things up. He died a few years ago in an industrial accident. He would have thought it was funny that there was a shortcut around the age verification. Life before the internet was difficult.
Alot of people quote this as being a kind of copy protection. BUt it clearly is not, it is age protection as u have said. It still didn't work because me and my homies played it we wouldjust guess until we got it right by accident
ohjajohh 20% because the waiters are on commission. They only earn tips and nothing else, just like strippers and other performance-based occupations. It’s also how every business owner lives.
I remember I couldn't find the last 2 points on this game. Finished it twice when I was about 10 years old but could only get to 218/220 (or something like that.) Used to just keep guessing at the security questions till I got through.
Me nd my buddy almost beat this game but then goddammit our disc had some bad sectors and going into a certain area the game would crash and never load
Johnson was actually Kennedy’s VP and not elected to office. He was sworn in after Kennedy was assassinated making Johnson the correct choice for the question.
@TigerClawTV It's all good. I'm 44 and the questions are super hard. They're for people at least 10 years older than us. An adult in 1987 would be born minimum 1969. That's my point. Ford became president when nixon resigned in 1974 Watergate

I'm so sorry...
Gerald Ford would be known to anyone who remembers Nixon’s resignation.
Nixon was before my time. I learned about him long after the fact. Nixon resigned in 74. I was born in 84.
Haha thanks for the nostalgia. Used to spend hours trying to pass this test with my cousins when we were around 9 or 10 years old
Me, too.

People really tip 18% in the USA? That's crazy

This is really funny, thinking about how it plays out over time.
I guess it was always meant to be funny, as much as "useful" too!
I got in half the time in 1991 as a 10 year old. The game taught me what a pimp was.
I got this game from a friend when I was about 12. Used to take forever to get in.....apparently I was a kid. Didn't help with the USA Questions lol.

What if the player was really at or over 100 years old, and were still kicked out from the quiz/game when asked how old they are?
CTRL ALT X isn’t working for me on the steam version
Dude how did you not know Eisenhower was a president?
Dr.TacoPHD123 Because I'm a dumb ass.
because he went to public skool
Me nd my buddy almost beat this game but then goddammit our disc had some bad sectors and going into a certain area the game would crash and never load
I still mess up these questions, and Im 35, lol! Great idea for a video broski!
Dang, do they not sell whoppers where you grew up? Wendy's was super aggressive with radio ads up until 2004 in the US.
thank you!
That's questions was do annoing. My buddy have a long list with questions and answers. Three was a lot of that shit
Who else heard about this from TV Tropes' "Hilarious in Hindsight" page?
Johnson was vice president of Richard Nixon. And a Whopper is a hamburger

I'm actually surprised the video maker didn't get the Whopper question.
I'm not American, and thus I'm a kid apparently - cause I don't give a s- about baseball x)
You're a kid!
Lol cant believe u failed the test as an adult! Any adult in 1987 would know that ford wasnt elected.
@@stevencoardvenice I'm also kind of dumb.

I'm 33 and not from US, those are shitty questions.
You weren't born yet when those questions were written.
@@ToLazyToThink0
Exactly. The questions were meant for people born in 1969 or earlier
