It's definitely a possibility. Because of the Serge of people missing that style of Barbie, and Mattel noticing the popularity. And because they have started using better fabrics on the dolls. there might be a revamp sometime.
The My First Barbie Dolls are really cute. However, I really don't like the printed details like the necklaces and purses, but I'm pretty sure they could still fit other Barbie Clothes from the Fashionistas and Fashion Packs.
There were _My Size Barbie_ dolls produced by Mattel in the 90s. They were about 3 feet tall. There was a _Supersize Barbie_ produced by Mattel in the 70s and 80s. She was 18 inches tall. She was basically a _Superstar Barbie_ but in a bigger size. The first Barbie with bend and snap legs was the 1965 _American Girl Barbie_ . The first Barbie with bend and snap elbows was the _Living Barbie_ from 1970. She could also bend her knees (like the American Girl Barbie) and ankles, and had swivel waist (like the mod era _Twist 'n Turn Barbie_ from 1967), legs, neck, arms and hands.

Crissy might be too large. The body is actually similar in width to the current curvy Barbie, so you could use those patterns as a start and just make some adjustments for height & limb length. Also, patterns for Paola Reina Las Amigas and Corolle Les Cheries could work. Be careful what fabrics you use, though. That soft material is a dust and lint magnet.

The other 2 dolls i never heard of, but then again, a little aliteration on patterns you have, even the ’normal’ ones, will do. The body of this doll is delicate indeed when it comes to fabric.. i found regular cotton fabric works best on her. I had My First Barbie when I was a kid, but she was very disappointing because the legs were stiff and had no bend. This is much better and it should have been like this then in my opinion. It would have been awesome if Barbie had always been over thirteen inches tall. Mermaze is the worst doll I have ever had to debox haha. They are wrapped, taped, and tied in to the box like someone was afraid she would get away lol. I love love love this new My First Barbie, I must have her. Thank you for a great review.
I found her in Target on Friday and I just had to purchase her. I really like her. She brings back great vintage vibes from my childhood. Hopefully, Mattel will continue the line and add more accessories and clothing. Although, these dolls are targeted towards a younger audience. I can see adult collectors really customizing these dolls into something fabulous!!!✨🌟✨🌟✨

i actually like the painted-on undergarments that the My First Sindy doll is wearing. i don't even mind the sculpted earrings because they're cute and simple. My only qualm is with the shoes and socks. Although they are adorable and convenient, i would have preferred sculpted stilettos. Lol i imagine that the child would only be able to dress their My First Sindy doll in skirts and gowns though. .. 🤔
I'm so intrigued by these! I've always love snap knees, and I think it's awesome that she also gets snap elbows! As an adult collector, that dress is awful. Her shoes are good so I would just redress her :)
I really like the sculpts, the bendable arms and legs, and the overall shape and proportion of these dolls. They have a lot going for them, but the soft material attracts dust and lint like a magnet, so I expect these dolls to become grubby and grimy in the little hands the line is marketed to very quickly. Also, I wonder how the material holds up over time. Material decay, such as gaping tears opening up or surfaces becoming sticky, is a known problem that can occur with 1/6 action figures and dolls that have soft vinyl and silicone bodies or parts. I hope that there won´t be any unpleasant developments like this over time.
If they make fashion packs for this doll, maybe the clothes could fit the curvy Barbies (and look better than the potato sack shirt-dresses we've been getting stuck with.)

If everyone recorded a video expressing a wish for mattel to offer the #madetomove bodies especially sean (to replace black label kens with rubber band leg system.) That if every influencer did it same week then mattel might do it. Headless bodies makes it easier for transplantation and availability
The life size Barbies are official Barbie Mattel often license out for other company's who specialize in different things just play specializes in larger dolls
I miss seeing the vintage barbies in the supermarket shelves. They were perfect! Now there are dolls with prettier faces and better quality clothes. I'm sorry that Mattel destroyed the essence of the barbie. It was just this articulation that was needed on the vintage barbies.

We're already getting used to Mattel doing something halfway right and we're applauding them for trying to push themselves just a little bit. The truth is that the doll is not bad, but to be honest it could be much better as well as everything she has taken out, they are all the same, the only thing that changes is the box.

There's friction between the rubber and textiles so i can see it be a bit of a struggle to get some pieces of clothing on and off.
it looks like she has real knees very cool and i've never seen clicking arms before.
