Visit Arran, it is beautiful, Scotland in miniature with beaches, mountains, waterfalls and a stunning coastline some 60 miles long that offers 100s of millions of years of geology. So good it is used as classroom for geology students but you can be at any level from the merely interested to the expert to enjoy the islands wonders
For maps and resources visit www.arran-geopark.org.uk, and it maybe an idea to download the maps as some parts of the trails don't have phone internet access.

Life could have been very different if my teachers had been like you. Confused why people do the stone stacks, the ones you feature are the most bizarre I have seen. Love the effects as a way to visualise how things would have looked without deviating from the main body of film. Bring on the next one

great stuff, i did know a little bit about the geology but theres so much going on. great graphics tricks on this one, it really makes the past come alive. and some of the drone shots were epic, the waterfall and that bird that kindly flew along with you was a bit special. ps. that stabilisation software i mentioned gyroflow is now able to use footage without gyro data from the camera. pp. '' no dougal, those eagles are far away, and the big ones are closer'' ... '' so ted, why do the little eagles stay so far away? do they not like people?'' ...'' oh feck!''
