With the current eruptions happening in Iceland at #grindavik I wanted to share my recent visit to Iceland with a view to fill in some of the gaps as to what is happening and why it is happening. But also point out you don't have to visit Iceland to experience the joys of volcanology: there is a good chance that where you live has been transformed with volcanic action sometime in Earth's rich past.
And again, I'm a filmmaker not a geologist- I just love the subject and exploring a bit deeper.
