Driving to Iceland [from Britain]: a van life guide
whilst I don't do van life or travel guides I thought it would be handy to share my experience of getting my truck to Iceland and illustrate the technical and cost issues getting your van to Iceland to have a longer stay to get to know the country
More Iceland videos are on the way exploring its landscape
The Smyril line also serves the Faroe Islands and you can also arrange your journey to drop off for a week en route or head directly to the Faeroes

UPDATE.. we bought a travel kettle in Iceland on the way back [1kW] and feasted on pot noodle and gallons of tea and were not found out... so take a kettle [max I think is 1.6 KW] and an extra pillow
Very informative, inspiring and relaxing.
May I congratulate you on your choice of travelling companion! 🙂
Loving this journey!!❤
Nice vid....but lose the music....
Music is obviously very personal but the problem with filming and travelling in a van or boat in the n.Atlantic is wind- lots of wind which makes the audio unusable - so its about softening the narrative which would be worse if it was just me in a quiet room
Out of professional interest would you have preferred different music or just no music?
I liked the music, personally. It's a subjective thing. Someone will always have an artistic bias. Thanks for a great video!
@@TheSuperTrickey I did too. I guess it's a question of taste.
