That's one loaf of French bread that'll never be the same. If you'd stuffed one more spoonful into it, I think it might've exploded. Damn fine lookin', Boy. Mighty damn fine!
Thanks for the recipe JB. We're raising three grandsons after the death of a daughter and those boys ate it up!! I'm always looking for something new they will eat. Tell Mrs. JB her cabbage roll video is still my favorite!! Sorry BOY! Those cabbage rolls rock!!
I added Mexican qeusso melting cheese MIXED IT IN THE MEATand it kept the meat together.as you cut it and eat it..I also put a little butter on the outside of my bread to keep it from drying out in the oven good YUMMMMMMM YUMMMMMM.
Is it me, or is that a DVD burner drive near the upper left corner at the 1:30 mark? If it is a burner drive, that don’t mean you can use it next to your STOVE BURNERS! Ha ha ha. That po boy looks mighty damn fine, JB. Oh hell yeah! But how long do you warm it in the oven, and at what temp? Don't leave me staying stupid, cuz I'll burn the S.O.B.
my old granny rest her soul used her cast iron for every thing it didn't matter.she had one skillet for corn bread that I got.smooth as a babies but, please show the people jb how u spose to clean and season cast iron.i use my deep cast iron for deep fat frying it seasoned pretty dang good.
I must say great minds think alike,I make this and slightly alter the way I put it together, I put a layer of cheese right in the well, then the meat, then cheese on top and I use the oil on the bread top with some garlic powder, then into the oven, yummy in the tummy Charlie
