In my 89 years old life,Thanks to you I will make my FIRST French bread.I do not have large mixer but I still have strong hands and I will start making “my” bread right now. Can’t wait to have my home made bread. I love bread and I am sure I will make many more (till I am gone from this earth). Wishing you all the best !👏🏻🫶🇭🇷

Indians are pretty used to different tastes, variations, etc. We all have personal recipes and we don't give them separate names. For example, them having different names for hung yoghurt and greek yoghurt is the main problem why they care so bad about the recipe.
Other examples are like petty things like crushed tomatoes vs blended tomatoes in a recipe that blends them anyways.

Depends, here in Australia I hear alot of indians complain that our butter chicken is not "real indian food" and Indian guy here also was told his butter chicken was not authentic because his mom used butter chicken packaged seasoning oml. Thank you for your open mindedness but all cultures have some annoying people, even my own.

Thank you John for being specific about the type of yeast! Most online bakers either don’t know or don’t bother to tell the difference and just use the term “dry yeast” to describe whatever they’re using. They almost never specifically tell you whether the recipe calls for instant or “not instant”…

2:22 if you measure your flour onto a piece of parchment, it's easier to get it into your mixer and not onto the counter... Just fold/bend the paper into a cone/funnel and shake in a little flour at a time directly from the paper, no scoop necessary. 💖🌞🌵😷

So, Imade this recipe yesterday evening and it turned out so delicious and soft (made them with A.P.Flour)!😋
I had actually stuffed the baguettes with leftovers of a chicken and mushroom saute I had prepared for lunch, along with block cheese and refried beans, and it may sound discouraging to you but those boys were good af!
The only thing that could have been better on my end is for a bit more color on the bread since they were on the pale side, other than that I highly recommend this bread recipe❤

PRO TIP: Active Dry Yeast lasts for years if you store it in the freezer. I have some Organic Active Dry Yeast by Bioreal from January 31 2018 (the date stamped on the top of the box) that I'm still using. Also Parchment paper is a good replacement for oil to avoid things sticking to surfaces and as a more healthlful alternative to tin/aluminum foil --now that we know how harmful ingesting aluminum is.

🇫🇷 Okay if this makes people happy, please enjoy your bread!
IF you want to make "une baguette 🥖" then we got rules to follow has not every bread in the shape of a baguette is a baguette and believe me I'm French and i worked in a British bakery for 10 years where they was making British bread in a shape of a baguette who even know was nice would have never compare to the real article.
So if you're truly interested in making "une baguette" please do like anyone who try to learn something do and study properly the subject.
There's a lot of knowledge and techniques involved in making a good baguette like in anything, like in making an humble hard boiled egg if you look into it.

@@deebee4850 in France we do not have only one type of baguette we got
      La baguette classique.
      La baguette tradition.
      la flûte.
      la ficelle.
      la baguette en épis.
      la sarmentine
And that's not all it's just the most common.
The one you probably know is La baguette classique but when you go to a bakery and you buy what you feel like.
So when you cook a bread you cook what you feel like too, so I don't have the one true recipe for baguette but Richard Bertinet do have a nice recipe with some excellent explanation on the Gozney channel if you are interested to try.

God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins on the cross. This was the ultimate expression of God's love for us. Then God raised Jesus from the dead on the third day. Please repent and turn to Jesus before it's too late. The end times written about in the Bible are already happening in the world.

John, how do i make this without a stand mixer ? I have a basic food processor and a granny mixer, and hands ,of course.

Well I'm not John, but I have made breads without a stand mixer.
Prepare the flours and liquids in separate bowls. Make a well in the center of the flour, pour the wet ingredients (once the yeast has activated) into the flour. Mix with the back of a wooden spoon, and once it starts to hold its shape, pour it out onto a clean surface, floured if necessary, and knead until it looks ready (as shown in the video)

@@cheffailure Thank you for the tip. How long should i knead it for, approx ? He is mixing this dough forever in the S mixer.

@@darcyjane8031 I bet you would end up kneading for somewhere in between ten and fifteen minutes, but you should use the elasticity of the dough to see if it's ready
If you can pull of a small piece of the dough and stretch it thin enough to see some light come through, then it's ready
