- This basic baguette can be made with simple ingredients without kneading. No-knead dough is normally sticky & super soft so shaping it is a bit challenging but the good thing is that Baguettes doesn’t need to be perfectly shaped. 😊
✔️Ingredients
4 cups [520 grams] bread flour
1 & 1/2 tsp [9 grams] salt
1 & 1/2 tsp [5 grams] instant yeast
1 & 1/2 cups [360 ml] lukewarm water
*some flour for dusting
*some oil for greasing

Just put the value of either Centigrade or Fahrenheit and find the other by calculation.

Yes it is. I myself use all purpose all the time, it's just a little less protein. The odd time I'll even add a cup of whole wheat in tge mix. It makes delicious breads and kaiser rolls

Just cover with parchment paper first then a tea towel right after removing from oven.

I think you can but keep it overnight in the fridge not outside.
Yes you can. I ferment for about 2 hours in oven with light on, till double in size, then I put it in fridge to use the next day. Better flavor.
If you use half portion of the recipe ... is yeat also halved ...?
you can use 1 tsp yeast for using half portion of recipe.

hi, may ready-made bread flour po na nabibili but unfortunately not available ang bread flour for some places/countries. if you want to make on your own bread flour, need nyo po ng vital wheat gluten to combine with all-purpose flour.

Just tried making this recipe awhile ago. Dumikit ung bread sa parchment sa ilalim. And prang hndi naluto ilalim niya. 😔 Been making bread for a year na po. Ano po kayang mali?? Ung top is ok na po. Brownish na ung top ung ilalim po parang hilaw.

coz that’s what a baguette is, French rustic breads just like baguette doesn’t require sugar, the taste is more of like a wheat bread☺️

You can add a tsp of sugar, and I add 1 tbsp of oil to baguettes for a softer crust.
