    • @ExplainingAndroid
      @ExplainingAndroid  Год назад +1

      as long as TWRP is working for the device. it shouldn't be an issue. although, it may prevent you from installing OTA updates using the built-in updater. I haven't tested this personally, so I can't say if it breaks that part. but if you do install TWRP, you could manually download the new updates from the LOS website and then flash them like normal within TWRP

    I have used your tutorial to root my pixel 6 and it was spot on. Now I want to try this but my only concern is that if i don't like it is it a simple follow the google web site to restore to factory default through the usb or is it different to remove it thanks.

    • @ExplainingAndroid
      @ExplainingAndroid  Год назад

      correct, if end up not liking lineageOS, you can use the Android flash tool (on the web or in the command line) to manually flash the stock version of android back to it. I even have a video showing you how this is done
      this will work for both the pixel 6 and the pixel 7 series - ruclips.net/video/fZgQNMhgWuM/видео.html

    • @ExplainingAndroid

    Hi, I have a Nokia 3.2 which had really low storage and I assume that was the reason it crashed and I restarted it, but it won't turn on anymore nor does it give me access to the recovery mode... I tried charging it completely and turning it on or to recovery mode, but it still does not respond... Is there any possibility to recover all the data?

    • @ExplainingAndroid
      @ExplainingAndroid  Год назад +2

      when you have 'device manager' open in windows and you plug in the phone, is any device detected? if you can't get into recovery mode your best bet is to boot into EDL mode but usually this requires a special cable or a hardware modification
      even then, it may be difficult to recover your personal data from it
