    Hi, thanks for the tutorial ! It would have been nice to include the adjustments you made to carry the kelp at the bottom past the 8 block water can run. From what I could figure it's an ice block on the floor with a fence gate to stop the water, and then a new water source above, to the side and in the wall to carry on. Alternatively, you could have one water source on each side and kelps exiting through the middle, either by the front or the back. This would limit horizontal stacking, but combining the two methods you could stack farms in three dimensions for a more even footprint.

    • @TheRAH
      @TheRAH  3 года назад

      Thank you for your feedback.
      You are correct in it being ice on the floor and two fence gates to lift the water so you don't have any open spaces. After the video I noticed however that it does not get all the kelp from the bottom. Some still fall trough the first water block and land below the fence gate not being transported.
      In my latest episode from Surviving Minecraft Bedrock I did use the seven blocks and one block down on two sides on the newest melon and pumpkin farm. So the water flows continuously towards the middle and can go underground.
      I saw that you've posted your three dimensions farm design on our Discord community server and it looks really great. Perhaps you could also post a picture or two from the inside how you dealt with the item transport?

    • @ginger2371
      @ginger2371 2 года назад

      There's plenty of other water systems that don't use that method, like if you were to build a 2 deep chamber, put a top slab on the first block, then when the water runs out place another top slab so that the items can go under ut. To carry on the water stream, put water above the top slab, and a sign behind the water to prevent it from flowing backwards.

    I like this design. I had to re-kajigger the gates at the bottom so the kelp didnt get stuck, as someone else had suggested. (running java 1.19.2)

    Toffe stijl trouwens lekker relax.

    • @TheRAH
      @TheRAH  2 года назад

      Thanks for the compliment.
      The problem is most likely very simple, if you already have packed or blue ice in the opening between the stream and the bubblevator. If not, try that first.
      If you do, it is probably this: The water at the end of the 8 blocks is to slow for it to push it all the way in the middle of the stream.
      If you make the stream either 6 or 7 blocks long (test it out, I'm not sure which one), the speed is still there at the end and the items will be pushed into the stream.
      Also use a button, fence gate or a sign above the ice and no top slabs as in Bedrock items can slow down or get stuck behind them.
      Let me know if you fixed it and how!

    The only issue I keep getting is squid keep dying and dropping ink sacs. Adding an item filter to pull these out before they enter the kelp buffer chest should solve it.

    • @TheRAH
      @TheRAH  2 года назад

      Correct and a fine solution. It also depends on the biome you are in and how high the water is. Above level 64 the squid should not spawn any more for 1.18+.

    Kelp got stuck in a couple of the gates and at the soul sand elevator. You didnt finish the build. I had to guess at what you did for the elevator work.

    • @TheRAH
      @TheRAH  2 года назад

      Since 1.19 kelp can get stuck on the fence gates sometimes. Mostly in Java 1.19.2 though. You could replace the fences with buttons to stop them from landing on the fence gates.
      The elevator is not part of the farm build, the build is a stackable farm unit. You can check out how to build the elevator and how to connect it here: ruclips.net/video/6X_fHB1Xe9E/видео.html

    I want to build a full 50 by 50 from y0 to y60 of this farm, but I'm worried about lag. Resources aren't a problem in my world but is it going to lag me if I put it near my home? How many should I put down? I already have a 50 by 50 area dug out in my worlf

    • @TheRAH
      @TheRAH  3 года назад

      Well, the biggest farm I build is the one in this video and that is 35x5. I have 3 of them next to each other in my test world and that does not cause lag on my PC, it does however lag out on my Xbox (second to last Xbox version) quite a bit.
      So it would be depended on the platform you are playing on and the power that is in that platform.
      With all the kelp growing, the pistons firing and the items flowing towards the storage you are setting up for lag unfortunately. Unless you have a PC with a top CPU and top GPU, I think 50 by 50 and 60 levels high would lag quite a bit.
      You could start out by making the first two or three layers to see how it goes. You can stop once you notice lag.
      Let me know how it went and how big you made it, would love to know!

    • @TheRAH
      @TheRAH  3 года назад

      Hi there. Unfortunately some kelp will get stuck on the dirt and will despawn after a while. There is nothing to do about it. The fence gates and flowing water pick up most stranded kelp from the dirt, but there will be some that stay on the edge.

    • @TheRAH

      It entirely depends on how much you need and how much you are willing to spend on resources.
      If the farm is too small now, you should expand until it isn't basically.
