Tom Scholz is truly a musical genius
Yea he sure is .he’s my hero
Egotistical human.
He could write, play, produce, engineer, record, play the guitar play play the keyboards play the bass, he is a maestro.
Tom Scholz is absolutely brilliant
I still reminiss and remember when I first heard all of those first songs at a real far out party and I always would say no one played so tight beautiful organs along with guitar to just keep the high dancing inside me like these guys rockin. And I later find out, that it was Tom Scholz doing both in all those songs WOW High five to you Keep on Rockin and Rollin..Love Love that Peaceful music
Tom Scholz is age defying at 70 years old in 2017!!
Tommy is a great person to keep the Boston Flag waving. He may not sound entirely like how Brad sounded on those classic tracks, but he gets close enough to where it’s not really a problem. I’m glad that Tom Scholz found someone who sings enough like Brad that he can keep rocking. The current band sounds great!
2:10 Tom just finishing up total badass wizardry on the keys (no audience reaction). Bassist jogs up and plays the same note over and over again (cheers ensue).
Yeah it doesn’t make sense. Although I do love the bass in this song. Fun to play
lmfao
Tom is so talented. He is not talked about enough
Tom Sholz is rock god!!!
He is great dude!!!
Tom sholtz is a genius musician
Can't say enough good things about Tom Sholtz just an incredible musical genius
NEVER would have thought that I could see Boston live......... AWESOME!!
I’m glad to see that Boston STILL sounds good
Still giving me goosebumps just as me and my friends first heard Boston in 1976 in Miami north Miami still drive by the old neighborhood park there it all happened.
Saw Boston live at the Gorge at George, Washington back in the mid 90's. No opening band and they played for two hours. Tom was out there with this long green and black cape playing Phantom of the Opera on this big pipe organ of a thing while the sun set over the Columbia River Gorge behind him. Absolutely the best concert of my life, still to this day. They closed with this song.
I saw Boston group two times life in the Bay area
I think DeCarlo sounds outstanding.
He sounds HORRIBLE! What are you listening to?
@@naturerules3371 He sounds great
He's no Brad Delp, but he sounds great!
I'm just very happy that Tom found someone that sounds like Brad and because of that he hired Tommy. Just like Journey. End of story.
Tom is such a pro - keyboard stack lights on fire during his big solo, he just keeps going 😆
Curly Smith, such a great drummer.
boston are definately a top 5 all time for me.
enjoyed that ! glad to see they still sound so good !
Insane talent on the Hammond B3
Love seeing Tommy back ! He is BOSTON !
Master musician Tom Schultz
Saw this show last night in Camden NJ . Song Kicks royal ASS!
They still good. Rock and Rolllll
I hope they tour again
Lot people thought this was impossible to play in a live concert!
Tom. The first album I bought was Boston. A Unique Sound, that Stood Out from all others. I judged all other artist, before it and after. I have 300 CD's and still have my Boston Album. The First on I Bought. I was 13? Boston Beyond The Fourth Deminsion?
Oh. And I finally said Shit to my mother, when I couldn't go to the Don't Look Back concert here in KCMO. Yeah I got a dirty look.
This new guy sounds very similar to Delp!!! Good for Boston!
Boston band is always on my top five!!!
Tom Scholz! Legend! TOLEDO!!!!
Tom is the man!!!!!!!!!!!
Sheeit! He's in charge!
pick you up to take you away baby !!!!!!!
Moment when Tom put guitar out to perform organ solo was badass
There are very few musicians that I can think of who could pull that off. Stevie Windwood is one of them.
Amazingly, he was a keyboardist before he was ever a guitarist. That's almost ironic considering all the amazing guitar sounds that he himself invented!
Looks like he hit a pedal to keep the sustain going while he switched instruments! AWESOMENESS!!!
ROCK GOD!!
I am lucky to be a fan of Boston, but am fortunate enough, to be a bigger fan of Tom Schultz, he is Boston.
And when he's not playing all the instruments, he serves beer and washes dishes!!
Lead singer is in the groove
This was my wedding song
miss brad delp
Government needs to drop a call on TS almost guaranteed he’s got thought 💭 on Covid-19 .
He’s that smart , just like Skunk 🦨 Baxter .
Smoking ohhhhj
reminds me of skankhunt42
Vladimír Dvořák MR. TOM SCHOLZ !!! !!! !!! !!
Description: vocals...BONG
Sea Shepherd !!
Wow!! How many triggers could you possibly need on a set of Acoustic Drums LOL!!! :0
I bet they're for backup, since the toms use samples that are a crucial part of the band's sound. All of the guitarists have identical backup Rockman rigs so I bet the drums are set up in a similar manner.

Does anyone know where Boston found the singer? He does a great job
TOMMY DECARLO posted his BOSTON covers and other music on his myspace page, and even wrote a song in honor of Delp. Hearing of a tribute being planned, a friend encouraged DeCarlo to take action. He remembers, “I sent my myspace page link to the BOSTON camp, and I also offered to sing my song at the tribute show, never thinking I’d get a reply. I did end up getting one about two weeks later thanking me for the offer, but at this point there were not going to be any additions to the line up. It was a very nice reply, and I was just thrilled that I got a response.”
Several weeks later, Tom Scholz happened to hear Tommy’s cover of “Don’t Look Back,” and was shocked. Knowing every nuance of Brad’s voice, he could not believe that this was not Brad singing, exclaiming, “I haven’t heard anyone else sing like that in 35 years.” Scholz contacted Tommy and invited him to come and sing a few songs at the tribute. DeCarlo’s reaction was, “I would have never believed this could happen in a million years. The next thing I knew I was on my way to Boston to sing with BOSTON … are you kidding me?” - bandboston.com/

NO SE QUE PASARA PERO NO VEO LOS VIDEOS DE RUclips
What did you record this with? Thats a great video. Thanks for sharing!
This video was recorded with a Nikon Coolpix S9500. Thanks for watching!
I just ordered the same camera based on your video quality. I can't wait to get it! I wish I had it for Metallica last weekend at the Rose Bowl. Thanks for the recommendation!
Do you use a tripod or anything? I got my camera today and I love it so far!
I've never use a tripod for live shows. They can be quite constraining for single camera work,
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to be recording my first show with the Coolpix S9500 this Tuesday for Slayer in Paso Robles, Ca. I'll be posting them as well.
I wonder if tommy ever bought a new keyboard.
where. dale.
Where is Skankhunt42?
ROCKMAN gear up the #%S on stage !!!
He basically recreates much of his studio on the stage. If the Rockman was a small box to get an instant sound (taking away soaks of gear) - the perfectionism of Tom created just a “little bit more” until you go from a 4x3” box to soak and soaks of gear again.
@@dcdno_one2393 The sum of all of that thinking is why that was one of the most fantastic first releases of all-time. Incredible to this day… the sonic within the song structures and power was one of a kind, like a comet had hit the radio))))))))
For all those who slam Boston for the new singer--first of all, this isn't Journey. Steve Perry is still alive and could replace Arnel at any time, if Journey wanted to. You can't resurrect Brad Delp from the dead to replace DeCarlo. They had to have someone sing! Tom Scholz still wants to play for his fans, and God bless him for having the ability to keep shredding after 70 plus years, he just needs a singer, because if he sang lead, he might just sing like Jeff Beck!
First off Steve Perry can’t go back to Journey. His voice isn’t close to what it was and even if it was the guy is at least seventy and no way can he sing like he use to and I think he knows that. The years he traveled with journey non stop damage his vocal cords and age is his best friend. To bad because I love Perry’s voice.
If you hadn't heard Tom sing lol, he does one song on the Boston CD LIFE, LOVE AND HOPE. He should stay away from the microphone 🎤 period.
Man do I miss the great Brad Delp!
What...no MIT tank top for Tommy??
Grew his air out like a dam fool....omg. BAD
Singer is slightly flat
He almost plays as many instruments as Edgar Winter

Please don't tell me that the music of my youth, preserved perfectly and enthusiastically in my memory, has been reduced to this kind of crowd-pleasing woo-hooery. :P
I mean you can call it that, but I find it pretty great musically. They sound pretty great.
Tom Scholz's appearance makes me think seriously about going vegetarian.
There's a "fountain of youth" in those "leafy greens", mate
Singer looks like a block rocker from Tampa. He just got done washin his car. Not a knock on Tampa...that area rocks.edit...LOL...bass player wearing a Treasure Island Florida shirt...see? Told ya...just a bunch of git er duns.
They are totally talking about marijuana abuse.
Hes trying to look like Brad Delph. Never be sorry.
Tom sholtz is a genius musician, but you can't replace brad, it's just... not as good
Tom needs to change his t-shirt 👕, put on a led zeppelin or Jimi Hendrix shirt brother!!!
Scholz is great...De Carlo doesn't sing as clear as Delp unfortunately....
Blake H I did
I think he'd be the first to tell you he's no Brad Delp. I think he pays tribute to Brad with every performance.
DeCarlo does a decent job on vocals, but I don't know why he insists on trying to look like Brad Delp's twin. You're not Brad dude, you never will be. I'd have more respect for you if you just tried to be Tommy DeCarlo...........you know, like when you first got the gig
classrockin Better to direct that question to Tom as it's his way or the litigious highway.
Bill Rabb. Good point.
Because he grew his hair out?
Jarrod Hubbard Just seems like he's trying to morp into Brad. I think Bill Raab makes a good point. It's probably what Tom Scholz wants.
Not sure why people think DeCarlo is "trying" to look like Brad more so than facing the fact DeCarlo (with long hair) simply looks a bit like Brad. DeCarlo grew his hair out and now has a goatee. Is that an "Un-rocker" thing to do? Is Tracie Ferrie trying to look like Brad too? Or maybe DeCarlo is trying to like Ferrie? Or ? Or ? Or ?
DeCarlo quit his day job and and has become a full-time musician. When not with Boston, he plays with his own band doing covers of more than just Boston songs. What DeCarlo has done with his look may well have a lot more to do with his career choices than specifically trying to look like the guy he is being compared to. DeCarlo has done more than a decent job, and paying attention to the way he looks, or more importantly, bringing attention to it is ridiculous.
