Just love how that Cat made those other loading shovels look small, even without a bucket! And I thought the Volvo's were big at the aggregates site opposite the farm when I was growing up!
Very cool mate , after my farm work I moved over to sand and gravel quarry as a loader driver nr Lincoln and those shovels over the years were Zettlemeyer, Cat 950,Volvo 120b, and occasionally a Cat 980g all very different from one another, their buckets ranged from 3.5 ton, to 11 ton capacity ,never drove on without a steering wheel must be strange for a while. Great vid mate.🤠
Can’t beat a big cat on a bank holiday Monday Mucker!! She looks like a beast and everything else looked really small next to her. Great video as always. Fenland Rob
Now Caterpillar's new eco friendly range! Yes it's got a mahusive V12 diesel, but we've tackled that by adding a small tree on the first step deck.... Nice drone footage M'lod!!
I have just got back from Poland faming in the 1960s was spread fertiliser by hand and pulling weeds by hand, they just got a new tractor a 1977 David brown 1212, hope you're had a good Bank Holiday weekend
Well enjoyable, the look on your face said it all, would be a handy loader for putting grass up 🤣, I think even I could keep in front of the forager with that 😍😍
I used to do otr tire work for Bridgestone GCR i had 15 quarries,5 underground mines and 12 construction outfits that i done work for andthe only thing i hated about the 992's was having to mount those 45/65/45 42 ply slicks i hated them new but used or pulling for repair wasnt bad ...do you have and Cat scrapers over there we have alot of the old Detroit powered Terex's still in use along with a wide variety of Cats ..alot of them are the 637's with enclosed cabs ...aside from being a trucker for 28 yrs i also at a young age became a heavy equipment operator ....nothin like it lol
@@LordMuck no its not ..ive not gotten to run one as big as you have videoed here ..the quarry i used to work had a cat 990 loader its the biggest one i have ever ran.
How many trailer falls ago could you put in the pit with that 1 at a time Just remember to watch out for the Wolves as you put it in because if you get it wrong it won't be stood up
992 without a bucket now that's totally epic 👍there a nibble old beast and that V12 sounds great 👍 cheers for another great post 👍 what could be next 🤔?
Not been on Instagram recently but Olly H outed it a bit someone seemed to be enjoying the pedal cart even more than that loading shovel judging by the grin
I can hear it now. Knock knock hi my lorry is stuck along the road do you have anything that would help pull it out? Not a problem does it need lifting out? 🤣. Oohh so much fun with one of them. Can see problems wrapping silage though 🤔 😕 😂 stay safe 🏴
Hi from durham KM @LM I have only ever seen that kid in a candy store look a few times but that is when you.know its at its best man 👌 really does it no justice but at between 6:00 & 6:10 as a 540 200 loadall operator when you cast a shadow over that 535 140 furthest it set the picture for me 👌💪 thank you for your time and be safe see you soon and keep having fun even if it is a ""dinosaur""🤔😂😂 good stuff man
Where can you go from that? LeTourneau (P&H) L-2350, apparently. 65L 16-cyl Detroit / 60L16-cyl Cummins both at 2300hp Bit of a heavyweight at 260 tons.
Are these machines sourced from within the UK❓ Is the UK a Euro Hub for large const equipment, because after all it must be expensive the Float them in then Float them back to the mainland, should that be the case. A little background story ❓🍶
Nothing like the roar of that 3412 Engine!! LOVE THE OLD SCHOOL 992'S
That Perma grin on your face says it all. You were having a load of fun. 😁👍
Like the variety & manner in which you segue from & to different machines. Keeps the audience guessing, no complacency by the viewers.
In the building I work in they use 2 of those engines for generators to power the whole building. Amazing. You were smiling the whole time. Good Show!
Just love how that Cat made those other loading shovels look small, even without a bucket! And I thought the Volvo's were big at the aggregates site opposite the farm when I was growing up!
You big child ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that grin on your face whilst starting and driving that shovel about said it all :) love it !!
Aren't collies just the best little buddies around the place💙🐶💙

Best regards from Indiana, USA.
That beautiful soundin V12 put a smile on anybody's face 😁 shame there wasn't a bucket an a few tons o material needin moved 💪💪👍
great video and what a machine, the grin on your face says it all
You trying to suppress your smile while driving the 992 is priceless !
The quarry at the CRH cement plant I retired from 2 years ago had 988s like that.
When you can look down into the back of 30t dumptrucks then you know you’re in a BIG bit of kit!
You looked like you were boarding a ship😂 The view from the bridge was awesome.
Thank you, Lord Muck for sharing these big, big, big machine rides! I WOULD NOT DARE!
The look on your face said everything! You wouldn’t be long shifting some material with that 👌🏻
You had the smile of a kid in a candy shop while driving the 992D. NICE!
Miss thunberg has had a change of heart..she wants a go in that lol
the smile on your face said it all v12 sound lovely 👍
Anyone see 6.15 where the left exhaust tail blows off. What a beast

Great video Mucker , that CAT Loader is a monster of a drive . You had great fun testing it out 👍🚜🔧

That CAT is really a mountain mover!! Real nice machine!!
Nice big toy with a lovely sound please keep these videos coming. All the best Wayne.
Well enjoyable, the look on your face said it all, would be a handy loader for putting grass up 🤣, I think even I could keep in front of the forager with that 😍😍
I bet that was fun running that around the yard. Nice kitty!
I was qualified on the 960, the 966, and the 980 back in the early 90's. I ran a Peterbilt double bottom.
It's officially a big machine when it features a flight of stairs that lead up to a veranda.
Great stuff Kurt and Puppo, that is a monster, have a good week👌👍🙂

Can't wait to see what's up your sleeve for the next one 👍
Cat 992 is a awesome machine Im 61 when I was 20 I learnt to operate one at a coal mining site
What a machine that v12 sounds awesome! Cant wait for the next video
Great video kurt, not sure the fud weasel would appreciate that taking all the room up in the workshop.
Great video as always, what a beast that v12 engine is
Excellent video Lord Muck :) you having a lots fun playing at Ritchie Auction to test and love Cat (Dinosaur) !
You wouldn't need to worry about how compacted the silo was in the clamp with one of those pushing up. Other than maybe pushing the clamp apart.
Another great video thanks for sharing what a piece of kit that Cat is,and with two how dare yous 😀
That smile on your face
You was like a kid with a new toy 😂
Great little video, very enjoyable 👍
All the Tonka! That was cool. Thanks.
If you want a shovel have a big one love the eco part of it, Greta would be pleased
Great video keep up the good work cheers 👍
D11R bulldozer is technically bigger . i hope you get to find one and run it someday
Not a loading shovel though is it.
@@LordMuck no its not ..ive not gotten to run one as big as you have videoed here ..the quarry i used to work had a cat 990 loader its the biggest one i have ever ran.
990 would be on the list
Brilliant vid love that. What a machine and what a sound 👍
She sounds well mate. Looks like you had fun good vid
That v12 sounds amazing, wouldn't want the fuel bill for running it 60 hrs a week though
We’ve a Volvo 350f shovel in my work. She’s pretty big! Don’t know how it compares on Cat terms though
Some nice equipment there those cat were very eco friendly 👍👍
Enjoyed this. It's like a British version of Diesel Creek 😊
Excellent video once again. Thanks.👍
I could tell you struggled to contain yourself while driving that!

Maybe you'll get a chance to drive that giant Komatsu loader. I think it's the L-2350, an absolute monster !
How many trailer falls ago could you put in the pit with that 1 at a time Just remember to watch out for the Wolves as you put it in because if you get it wrong it won't be stood up
That was proper job!! Real envious ,would like to have a play !!! Great vid mate 👍👍👍👍
992 without a bucket now that's totally epic 👍there a nibble old beast and that V12 sounds great 👍 cheers for another great post 👍 what could be next 🤔?
I guess you could always keep your eye out for a 1739hp 994K lol
I have driven a volvo and to me they are king thel150 and 180 are so easy to use and maintain and driver friendly
By the look on your face looks like you had a great time
Not been on Instagram recently but Olly H outed it a bit someone seemed to be enjoying the pedal cart even more than that loading shovel judging by the grin
Like a dug with twa tails 🐕 not much sound proofing in that cab 😂
Nice one Lord Muck Thanks again
This is just brilliant
Would be great ta spend a week driving that in the Quarry, loading Dumpers 👌
It’d have to be a Le Tourneau loader to keep the increase in size from 988-992 as 992-994 isn’t that big of a jump muckas
Hit that line of vans like a monster truck 😎
thanks Kurt nice vid sir.... Take care...
Cheers Kev 👍

That would be perfect size for snow work on my little yard
Like a cat that got the cream (Cheshire one) obvious u enjoyed it ps how's the jaw with all that grinning lol
You put on a bit of altitude climbing up the 992D!
working an old D9 or the more modern D11 dozer's must be on the to do list?
You could go to a 994, if you can find one !!!
Great video lm it’s a savage piece of kit
Does it have a steering wheel to turn the machine?
You'll have to watch the video. I know the 988 had a lever but can't remember if the 992 did or not.
@@LordMuck 988F?
I wonder how white diesel will affect the bids on that big shovel?
My Lord you need a 994
All the smoke! I love the sound of a diesel....how dare you🤣
That’s some weapon!
You NEED to try a 995 👍
Hi Mucker, my t-shirt landed, thanks for climbing above all the bureaucratic bullshit to get it to me. Top man making top content. 👌👌👌 Mint.
Told you we'd get it there 😉

i was going to ask you how much, but i can hear your answer ringing in my ears...
Where do you go from that? To a 998 that's where!
I didn’t realise exactly how BIG that shovel was until you drove past the cat telehandler 🤣🤣🤦♂️
Nice little machine my lord, but no loadmaster 700
the grin on your face while driving it says it all, wonder why theres no bucket on it
transport?
Probably put it on the new machine. When you get to toys that size buckets are fucking spendy!.
Or possibly a fairly new bucket so put on the replacement machine ?
Cool stuff 😎 👍

Depends where they are shipped to but if the arrive here they normally stay here.
Sweet what a beast 👌🏻
Err, love it pal.
D11 next please Mucker… 💪🏻
How did it get a cracked door glass, feckin swan hit it?
