So many things RIGHT in that trap loading operation it is not funny, that is as efficient as you will ever see a trap loading operation, loader op runs a very tight V pattern to get from the face to the truck and minimum tyre revolutions also, good truckies spotting correctly and no bunching at the loader, dozer working well with the loader, well done to that crew, pleasure to watch and thanks for posting Ken
Gavin Handley and running over all the rocks spinning tires that's all good too ? Its not smooth like a loader that size should be in all reality kinda jerky but who knows maybe he's new on inexperienced to an extent
From a Ret Airline type who's use to machines being as light as possible, this is a REAL treat watching the harmony of people using HEAVY equipment in concert to produce a LOT of work..... I just wish I could be there for the sights and sounds and to feel the ground shake.... I'm impressed - THANK you!!!!!
Gotta be one of the top five videos I’ve seen, awesome footage the operators are fantastic. Like I like seeing the dozer and wheel loader are working in a tandem. No boring music to listen to only the sound of the wheel loader and the material hitting the trucks bed! Also like seeing the mixture of rock and sand is loaded, and the dozer push the pile! Keep up the good work So Cal
operatore brillante si vede che ha in pugno la macchina non gli da un attimo di respiro ,veramente bravo ,quardando altri video si apprezza ancora di piu' la sua bravezza
It's a honor to watch a good loader man. Wasting no moves. Running with throttle wide open, line the trucks up just right. The man I worked for, for a lot of years if you didn't do it like that you didn't run a loader for them. So many loader men waste so much time traveling around, not lining the trucks up right. Good to see it done right.
One of the better operators on these RUclips videos. But, he would HAVE to change how he treats both the loaders and the trucks tires. Puts trucks up on windrows and too much loose material. Runs loader tires up on the load bank and leaves too much loose material for tires to run over. Might seem picky, but the tires are a big part of production costs over time. There are ways to take care of tires and load just as fast. Especially since the load face is loose rock being fed by a dozer!
Either this 990 is only filling in for a 992 that's broke down, or this is the weirdest set up of equipment ages and sizes I've ever seen. I can't get a good look at the dozers ,but they appear to be at leat D10s and maybe 11s .When using such a large dozer to push to a loader .Usually you are using a 992 ,993 or in very rare occasions possibly a 994. and what's up with those old B model 773s?
Impressive operation. The dozer is working independently while the loader is getting the first pass - no truck waiting. Once the truck is there the dozer pushes into the bucket to ensure full buckets. Three pass loading in under 60 seconds.
Jim vet, of course it's staged, by a smart site foreman. Matching up the right machines to the job, then going somewhere else to plan ahead, while staying out of the operaters' way. Very good operators, no wasted motion.
This is decent loader operator. Could be made to be great if he or she is not too old or stubborn to take instruction. First thing he or she needs to do is burn his truck drivers up for spotting too far away. He should be dumping his bucket and backing out padding the bed on the first bucket. Never going forward after the truck spots. Waiting too long on the hydraulics. Never should be a pause or hesitation. The finest loader operators in the world are found in the WV VA KY surface mines. Cycle time and tonnage is the name of the game. 200+ 785cat loads per 9.5 hour shift with a 992G are common run of the mill days. 250+ records I know of. Without a dozer in the bucket all day. That's gravy. Still this is a nice job though.
Less than one revolution of the wheels to load & less than one to unload, tells you he has done the official cat training course, would like to know how long it takes before the drivers head trips out.
Never seen dozers push shot rock to a loader lol easy work for him but I guess nice lose stone is better than stressing the loader out but then again there built to dip it not only scoop it
The video is intended to look like a smooth operation" To me it looks like there pulling from there back fill , / stock pill they had to do working to get down to the compaction grade: All the more reason why it is easy going: Generally it is after all of the rough cut is done, does it tend to go faster: The loader hand & Cat skinner operation isn't norma in how it is being played out" No doubt it is playing to the speed in the cycle times being made: Other wise no, it's way faster then what actually takes place: Personally, not to be fooled" Generals go through a lot of operators for all sorts of reason: One of which it is a neck & back busting job even in the best of conditions: By the size of the back fill' although I can not really say being I couldn't see the lay of it" Running end dumps generally aren't a high end production mover" that is unless there is a fleet of them in concession: SoCa earth movers to me have this staged:
What the? this is a great example of a "trap loading" operation, the material has been either shot or ripped by the tractors, obviously tons moved is the name of the game here, with the loader not having to waist time "digging" the material the cycle time is increased = tons. Another advantage with this is the truck spotting stays consistent for a longer period so the truckies get better at getting in the right spot each time because it remains similar each load.
I'm talking about the tire spin when he changes directions. I know the rear tires of a loader tend to do that anyway, but this it's definitely a bit excessive.
reynoldsmusic1 he does fill it on his own when there's no truck there, having the dozer force feed him simply speeds up cycle times... bigger payload in the bucket and half the time than if the loader was operating solo...
In Cats larger loaders you are meant to use the throttle lock and just set it at high idle and then use the left peddle which controls the impeller clutch and then the brakes as you depress it further
This is the only other operator I've seen use the aggressive teeth positioning for entering the pile besides myself. Great operation...somebody is making money!

expensive muck pushed with a dozer rubbish
What so spinning tyres and spending extra time on 100% throttle in the face with the loader equates to lowest cost operation??
Gavin Handley and running over all the rocks spinning tires that's all good too ? Its not smooth like a loader that size should be in all reality kinda jerky but who knows maybe he's new on inexperienced to an extent
He/ she load fast but on the expenses of operating a bit jerky. Empty bucket in one forward motion without breaking the loader.
Gavin Handley obviously a massive mine site that is 100% focused on production using 2 machines to do the job you only need one for

That's the fastest wheel loading I've ever seen. It's like the boss is watching.
Another great vid, fantastic teamwork by all.

Nice tag-team. Overall, very efficient relative to other loaders and operations I have seen.
Fährt viel zu hart, trocken und nervös. Das geschmeidige weiche geräteschonende fahren fehlt.
the cat dealership that sells to these guys must love when they come in with a shopping list , Huge company
This is beautiful :'(
He ought to be cranking out the yards, He's got a dozer loading the bucket for him!!!
This is so flawless, the whole operation here is. I can watch this all day.
This must be a rock quarry
Perfect sizing between the 990H bucket and the dimension of the truck body, congratulations
very nice shot !! and great teamwork ;)
like clockwork each move is calculated
Hy good evening hw are my nice friends I love this machine and I want pricts
Já fui.bom nisso

Just pounding out the cubic yards eh? This is a good video.
Good job , everyone is working together like clock work
Definitely not a green horn on that 990, he ran the f**k outa that bad boy. Great job by all
thats a really cool 2 way chain they got goin on there to load the 773's! nice one dude
If dude stops to take wizz.. it will be Kaos! CRANKIN OUT THE YARDS!
Great teamwork - good to watch!
top production right there!!
...errata corrige.Addirittura due !!!!!!!! Licenziati subito.
No, what that is, he's having trouble with the forward and reverse sticking.
That's how things works!!
These guys are Amazing!!!
Flawless....
That's guys fast
Perfect conditions for some good productivity...
This is perfect
The Poor guy who is on the Dozer With no A.C. should at least hove a dust mask on!
Very good video.

Yeah but this one is wasting alot of fuel
+ThaRealGamerR newer loaders are designed to run wtfo.

Agreed Clifton
Freeken truck drivers at a race track. Give the guy a break!
Awesome!!
Worst operator I’ve ever seen.
Great team work.

hard on tyres.
How?
If he would back up a little farther and not turn on his tires while not moving! Trying to go to fast has to wait for bucket to touch ground.
Just cat
I like the "broom and dustpan" collaboration.
Having the dozer "sweep" the material into the loaders bucket helps with productivity.
saludos colegas desde venezuela . opero un 990H tiene una falla de baja rebolucion a escaso minuto de enpesar atrabaja.
Wow! I cant tell who's busier...the loader or dozer operator? Well done to all. Great truck driving spotting too.
Man, that operator does not waste time. His scoops and dumps are like clockwork, very good cat 990 h operator!
I WILL THANK YOU!
Ikr by far the best operator I've seen
@@StoneStraiffhe is crap

The truck drivers and the loader operator and the bulldozer operator working together as a team. Good operators and truck drivers
das macht die Karre nicht lange mit!!!
Hmm ... how long would it take for a man with a shovel to remove the material that falls off one bucket of that thing :D
Never seen dozers push shot rock to a loader lol easy work for him but I guess nice lose stone is better than stressing the loader out but then again there built to dip it not only scoop it
That loader operator is only doing half tire rotations. That's how its suppose to be
Bon bull...
It's called a work pattern,, non stop moving
When they start putting porn videos on youtube?

How come there are dozers with no cab but a ROPS?
Feel like the dozer is a little unnecessary
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
Chinese secret: load first bucket towards the back of the truck. ... it will hold more .... like a chock for the rest of the dirt
How do you do that with a wheel loader that has a bucket nearly as long as the tray????
Im suprised how fast that behemoth moves!
change operator h,s not good
that's cool dozer loader trucks
I bet the operator has whiplash at the end of his shift.
GREAT OPERATOR .VERY FAST AND EFFICIENT
I know a few operators that need to watch this
Nice video More please!!
nice video
Kyllä homma käy ammattilaisilta!
User MassX?
How about more V less 90.
That 990 is SWEET!!
Good
good team
brilliant setup
Good video
great idea to combine wheel loader and buldozer !

How much hp does the wheel loader have?
Herr Kompetenz the new cat 990K has 709 HP, the old 990H, I think, has nearly 630HP.
Sebastian Neininger Danke dir :D
Hard on the whole machine, not just the tires.
How so???????
Shafts, final drives, and of course, the transmission. If you ever see wheel spin on a front end loader the operator is doing something wrong.
Yeah, but this guy has a D10 helping him fill the bucket so not much load on the drivetrain cos he is out of the face so quick
I'm talking about the tire spin when he changes directions. I know the rear tires of a loader tend to do that anyway, but this it's definitely a bit excessive.
I don't know, maybe this one is meant to run at WOT all the time....I'm used to old school 988's and such.
Why is there a need for the dozer's assistance?
James Campbell speed up production
jimmy johnson should be able to fill his bucket on his own!!! terrible operator
he does
might as well push a bit more when the dozer makes a pass towards him
reynoldsmusic1 he does fill it on his own when there's no truck there, having the dozer force feed him simply speeds up cycle times... bigger payload in the bucket and half the time than if the loader was operating solo...
Sounds like that guy has a brick mashed down on the accelerator. High production for sure and nice video!!

This is the only other operator I've seen use the aggressive teeth positioning for entering the pile besides myself.
Great operation...somebody is making money!
Moving material a short distance-dozer, medium distance-pan, longer haul-back dumps.
A beautifully coordinated ballet between loader, dozer and truck train.
Great teamwork! Great video! Operator is getting max productivity! Awesome video.
what a mess I'd like to see him stick 12hrs of that
Somebody needs to teach that dude how to operate thzt loader
