I can't watch a 994 video and not comment on how spectacularly massive it is. When that water truck drive by it you still can't even get a real sense for this colossal towering behemoth.

Someone needs to teach that loader hand how to get a full bucket.
The pile looked a little low for the machine making it harder to fill.
@@Umael84 nope. The pile is just fine. The operator doesn’t know how to curl and lift the bucket to get a full one.

Imagine the capabilities and production you would get if they ever designed a loader frame to mount on a D11T sized tractor. They would probably call it model 997L or something like that.

the bucket is full enough ...the most important thing is that you don't spin the tires .He is doing a good job .

I ran a 992 for 2 years. We had a 994 but it was Always down for repairs. 992s are mammoth size. I used to move 3000 tons in 8 hrs. You don't curl the bucket right away. You just power in lift slowly till near the top then you curl.

Massive power in the 994. Never have had the chance to run one. Ran the 988 a lot and some on a 992 but never the beast.
If I'm not mistaken, thats Caterpillars largest Wheel Loader, and its a beast! 🤔

The LeTourneau 2350 is even bigger and can lift more. I would like to visit the place where they are made. Must have some very impressive cranes and welders.
Long as you dont spin the tires yer ok . If you spin ...some one is going to take you back to the bunk house , and u know what that means !

Pretty smooth operator and a 994 will do it easy with 777 as the target but he should be able to load them in 3 passes. Technique filling the bucket needs to be worked on, to much rack back and not enough lift, improving that would definently see him 3 pass loading those 77. And dont pat the load down!!

Should be loading them trucks in 3 passes ,992 can load them trucks in 4 passes ,he can't fill the bucket properly at all 🙄

994 again yay! It's so hard to comprehend the size of these giant machines from a picture or video. I can see how small the operator appears! It would be neat if you could attach a bright green tennis ball to one of the hydraulic cylinders just for scale, since everyone knows the size of a tennis ball. Thanks for posting this beast!

Great Loader and it only needs a few scoops to fill a rock truck.
777 f has a maximum load of 100 tons. A good operator in a 994 could easily overload a 777 in 2 buckets.
I will say there 45 ton in the bucket

I used to load 789’s with 4 passes with a 994….load the bucket!

@@glennhatley2010 absolutely, should've been loaded in 2 1/2 to 3 buckets and much quicker. Those machines can move quicker than that.

notice how when he backs up with a full bucket he uses the weight of the material to give a slight help to turning to the left as he aprochase the truck .its just a nudge but it helps .

He's slow and overly cautious ... I'd have him out of the seat ASAP. Find an operator who's competitive and keen to push

I miss working on the strip mines I worked on loved running the 992c model loader and the rock trucks were small 773b but I loved operating them I miss it so much 😢

Man had a 11 up top knockin down to fill bucket 3 passes in a loader that size on a 777 should roll off sides…I worked around 2 different 94’s and 789s and 793s were under both…seen 310t n a 793 after puttin it together loaded by ex3500..
