    Lol other video went mia as i was typing my comment. This came at the perfect time. Got an x1 carbon 3d printer a month ago and im about to start learning cad so i can design some of my own shit.

      I figured. I'm assuming you've had fusion for a while but while I was researching which program I wanted to start with I was seeing a bunch of people pissed because you have to pay for the full version now. The free personal version is a limited version with basic functionality. I still may go that route since fusion has way more users to pull knowledge from but I might just stick with freecad since I already have it on my laptop and steamdeck. I found an almost 25hr in-depth tutorial in its own playlist on here so that should make it a lot easier at least to learn freecad.

      I don't pay for anything with Fusion.
      Whatever functionality I'm missing, I don't miss.

      @@TheDrivewayEngineer good to know. I wasn't sure if the limited functionality had that much of an effect on automotive shit. That's the main reason I got the printer was to make tools and car parts so as long as I can do that I'm golden. Working on downloading fusion now to check it out.
