Chris I split and stacked all day by my self yesterday. It is just fun running your machines! I had a bunch of mulberry I got for free. Stringy, knotty and large. I used my 4 way wedge. Nothing stopped my 28 compact commercial. A lot of large blocks. 20 - 30 inches. With out a doubt one of the best pieces of equipment I ever owned. Thanks for producing a USA made great product! God bless my friend.
Good morning. Impressed by the quality of craftsmanship/ pride in your machines/ MFG process. I can appreciate your demo style, reminds me of Ted at Everything Attachments, hard demo use but we see the quality of the equipment. You all be safe. Thanks Chris
picked up 35ho saturday afternoon, i.t is a beast!! Got home about 5 had first cord split and stacked in an hour or so. worked like a champ, never faltered. thanks again chris i.t was more than i could have hoped for. top notch stuff.
Hey Chris, Awesome machine you built here I hope I can get one here soon! Cutting and splitting fire wood is something i love to do! And helping people out that need it even more fun! My neighbor is 79 we split wood for his outside boiler all the time! We bent his single wedge the other day... 40+ plus inch ash hit a knot and it didnt go well... 37ton northern tool model. Keep up the great work hope to be in touch soon!
Good Morgan, Made in the USA. Congratulations on your growing success. A thought on the new log splitter lift, make it retrofitable for older machines. Just a thought I'm sure you have plenty to do
Looks like nice splitter , out east were spoiled with the speed of the American super. 13 honda same pump . Same cylinder. There secret is probably pattened. There 5 inch cylinder. They bore the feeds out to all 3/4" hose instead of 1/2" pump and valve all 3/4. Then they take the cylinder and port it up to 3/4" no power loss. 6 sec cycle. Almost produce 3 cord in hour on an all out race. With a 4 way
YAAAA!!! this ones a beast!!! BIG ( D ) FROM BACK 40 got me interested in your equipment, this is the exact splitter I want! definitely getting one when the wife an I go full time at the cabin. Trying to hook somethin up here in hopes of gettin one sooner. thanks for this demo. I also saw the others with DAN @ BACK 40. He was fixin his road in back, an found some ol bones- I told him it was eather A BIGFOOT GRAVE, OR FROM A TREE-REX. You guys stay cool an keep pushin on
My 28Pro still busting wood like the day you brought it Chris, keep up the great work and thank your employees for me, also it is better to split knots facing wedge. Take care.
Chris - looking at this machine its more than capable running that ' 10 way '. Why not add a welded pin with a pin hole on top of the 4 way where the cylinder connects that all you would do is drop the 6 way on top of the 4 way as shown and place a pin thru securing it?
So, just a few things to adhere. One, love the video! Too, love the Tim the toolman Taylor reference! And last but not least, I can't believe the dislikes that I had seen. Just remember that thank God you have some haters cuz then you know you're doing something right. Nobody ever criticizes the guy who's 200 pounds overweight but if you're doing 500 push-ups a day here comes the haters with telling you how you're doing it wrong yet they don't do any themselves. Keep up the great work! Subscribe and like all of the videos.
Hi Chris, I like your woodsplitter. great work! Is the cycle time you mentioned with no load, after 10 minutes i counted something with 12 seconds for half a cycle, so only pushing. I am also curious how you can achive more than 30 tons with a 13HP engine on 3000psi and 22GPM. Maybe I am confused of the imperial system, I am used to the metric system. Best regards from Germany and again good work
We have a Kubota powered HDI model getting finished up this week, think that one will be next. SHO machine is based on this same chassis. That model just adds horsepower, oil cooler and more standard features. Thanks!
Perfect Chris.. I have been wanting to call you and ask questions.. This answers a lot for me.. Keep them coming..👍this is the model I am looking for as well..
@@WolfeRidgeSplitters, that makes the decision even harder as to which brand and model. Will have a decision by the time the Midwest Firewood Frenzy rolls around.
Absolutely love y’alls splitters, hopefully one day I will be able to afford such luxury! Just curious, have y’all ever thought about making an economical version for us pooor folk? Lol. I wish y’all had something like a 25 ton for around $1500. I love the push through design but you can’t find them in a regular log splitter.
Chris. Depending on the job site can the log lift be moved to the other side?? Or would it be easier to have a removabl tongue so you can move around the job site..
Hello Robert, we make this machine with up to 36" stroke length. That option also includes a removable sorting table extension as well. Here is the web page for the High Output model... www.wolferidgemfg.com/products.php?p=High+Output+Commercial+Log+Splitter&mode=item&inv_id=9

If I had the good fortune to have one of your machines, I would be happy with just being able to brake the block down with a single knife...My wood rounds are 48 to 55 inches across, and I kind of dont like all the debris the multi blades make...

Ordering my tomorrow. Great detail n video!
I agree there is no replacement for displacement!! Like the machine!!!
Your attention to detail on your splitters is wonderful. Sometimes its the little things. Oil drain hose!!

HI man have u ever test 2 man 1.5 cords reached as per specs.
Thanks and have a great day
Love that splitter. Great job Chris. I like the fact you warranty your wedges, can't say that for the other manufactures.
Love seeing that when someone is working solo they are doing it from the loader side.

You’re products are very awesome.
I’m still impressed with my Spliter.👍🏻
Great demo. Super nice splitter. Of course you know some will use it as “you’re not supposed to” because you demo’d it! Haha

I think you are onto something by stacking the wedges. You could make stackable wedges for a modular wedge.
Just ordered one like this to use down in VA
That rig is a beast

With the wider wheel track, how difficult is it to operate the splitter controls from the log lift side?
Not too bad, have to lean over a little. I split the first 2 logs in this video from the log lift side.
@@WolfeRidgeSplitters, that makes the decision even harder as to which brand and model. Will have a decision by the time the Midwest Firewood Frenzy rolls around.
Do you have to run the Honda engine at 1/2 throttle during the breakin period?
No sir! 3/4 to full throttle is best for the engine. Run her that way for 10 hours and change oil. Thanks!

Do your machines with electric start have an alternator to charge the battery? I would hope so but dont see any reference.
Yes sir. All Honda electric start Honda engines come with minimum of 3 amp charge coil to recharge

Another beautiful machine Chris. Just wandering, do you have a name for the blue color you use? Thanks.
That is our Dark Sapphire color. Thanks! Chris
Do you make a box wedge for this little piggy?
No sir
What is the longest you can build i would like to have a 3 to 3 and a half log because of my furnace

Where could I find one of those 1000 pound Scizzor lifts
Harbor Freight, thanks!
Cant say I am impressed to much, nice machine but the Eastonmade seems to have an edge,, how about trying a box wedge
Can't say I am impressed with box wedges. Too much trash if you ask me.

Fricken tank bud... And I'm picky.
Wish I had one .cant afford it
Looked like 10 seconds for ram to finish the split....
