Directors Statement: This has been a long journey. We are a group of media students and this was our first attempt at shooting an action-based film and we used “SCP” as the entry point. The “MTF” setting allowed us to easily add military elements to the script. As the director, I have always wanted to have the opportunity to be exposed to such themes, therefore we took a leap of faith and boldly implemented them into our graduation work. We started from scratch in the early stage of our development, and it was difficult to obtain resources for filming (including funds), actors, makeup, equipment, and such. Furthermore, we lacked experience in these types of filming. In terms of the budget for the development, us three producers alone decided to raise the budget. As students, we were only able to contribute a small amount of money. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to meet a group of professional military enthusiasts to cooperate with in this production. They were not only willing to provide equipment, but also provide military tactical advice to aid in basing the acting on reality. In addition, we would like to thank the production team and the staff especially since most of them volunteered to help. Despite receiving such help, the production process was still quite strenuous. We only had 5 nights to shoot which was not sufficient to complete the entire script. The heavy military gear and equipment that the actors had to wear was very tiring and shooting the action scenes was also quite time-consuming. We ended up making a lot of cuts during the filming, which resulted in a lot of the final shots not being as good as they should have been. Entering post-production, the visual effects were limited to the student level, and there were indeed flaws on the screen that were difficult to retouch. However, we tried our best to complete the production with our limited resources. We would like to apologize to those who are military enthusiasts among our audience if there were terms and plots on the screen that were inconsistent with reality or unreasonable. Some details have been overlooked due to production time constraints and we are still learning. We hope you can understand. Although there is a gap between the final result and our ideal, we have no regrets about taking this first step. This was a valuable shooting experience and we hope that everyone will continue to stay tuned and support us. We aspire to produce more sophisticated works in the future.
I hope you get the chance to read our full comment, but wanted to state it here as well. You should be very proud of this short film and keep investing in our craft
It was amazing and engaging. Don't worry about the small imperfections. Big budget movies have them all the time. 😁 You guys did a great job and should be proud of yourselves.
There will always be a gap between the image in your head and the finished product. This is pretty much unavoidable, especially the more fantastic and fictional your story and setting becomes. You'll learn to live with it and always improve.
I guess it's because headshot effect isn't as easy to produce like a shot to torso or limbs? But if that's the case I guess they could just modify the script.
Trained as they are supposed to be as a specialized unit, would also be safe to assume the double rule is known to them. Especially when team leader called for head shots😢
Not to mention blood running from his eyes and pale skin, like the one they already saw a Zombie had. It's a cool fan-film, but there's a lot to be said about the script itself.
This is truly amazing work. If you ever plan on making more, whatever it is, I'd highly recommend looking into the aspects of actual SCP Site-Security and pre-containment breach. Nobody seems to give site security much attention, and in every single SCP short film the security guards and staff are just there to be killed and then overshadowed by the badass MTF coming in, which, although cool, is definitely very overused. Showing the facility before the containment breach, with regular staff of all various types just doing their jobs like every other day, followed by the deterioration of all systems and situations until it's all hell broken loose is something the SCP game itself did a short amount at the beginning, and I wish it did it more. Thank you for posting this work of art.
Thing is in the wiki, if this breach happened, the mtf would not be sent in, the site’s warhead would be detonated instead at the slightest sign of a containment breach.
Not all the time, if the site can be retaken by the mtf no warhead is needed, if the mtf squad is eliminated then the warhead is detonaded, also they needed the research of Dr.Spencer, the nuke wouldve destroyed it.
Universes are different, in some if there is a breach a MTF team would be sent to contain it. But in some if a handful of anomalies are breached then the site’s warhead would be detonated.
I love how adaptable the SCP universe is, and how good the amateur content is. Anyone with a vision can walk up and take a whack at it. Works like this are truly inspiring.
I feel so bad, but as the video started I was like "haha, sounds like someone tryna do a donald duck impression" and then he flicked his head up and sounded just like screaming donald and I LOST IT.
Awesome job incorporating the usage of MTF logos and call signs. This is a very commonly overlooked portion of the GOI writings of containment breach scenarios. Personally, I had heavy involvement with creation of some specialized groups, namely Delta-14 “Winter Wonderland”. Situations like this where Nu-7 “Hammer down” and Beta-7 “Maz Hatters” would be appropriate, is so refreshing compared to the standard use of Epsilon-11 “Nine-Tailed-Fox”. Amazing work.
For a first attempt this was phenomenal! The cuts and sound design where very well made and you played to your strengths and what you were able to shoot. The story was cohesive and interesting. Set design was also phenomenal. A lot of effort was put into the props and set dressing and it really added to the atmosphere. One piece of advice we would give “having fallen into this trap ourselves here at MKP” is write the script and then cut it down based on time line and location. It’s hard to find actors and locations willing to volunteer their time so being able to effectively utilize the space is key to a successful shoot. All told, I would be very proud of what you have made and we look forward to what you might have planned for the future!!!
Only in for 3 minutes and already knew the whole thing was gonna be great, the MTF costumes we're also very well done and unique. Amazing work to everybody that worked on this.
This is truly a tremendous effort for a short film, let alone a student one! Your production design and costumes put you all leagues ahead of most other SCP short films. It so cool that SCP is an international phenomena that can draw such talent from all over the globe. I hope you all continue to make more SCP films.
You had me until 6 minutes in when the guys using NVGs turned on _flashlights_ lol, totally broke immersion. Zombie virus outbreak I can handle, but staring at a wall with a NOG while using a flashlight to oversaturate the tube? Jokes aside, very well done, guys. If I didn't know, I wouldn't assume this was a student project.
lol, fr, but I have never heard of a person taking control of SCP-008 just by modifying the Gene, I thought research on SCP-008 was purposely not done to prevent the research from being used in the future… so that part was pretty much inaccurate
being a combat vet who did building clearing, this was painful to watch. they didn't watch their rear, moved way to fast and enter rooms like they were going from their living room to their kitchen.
Tactical: Not bad, the single file movement through the site is tactically accurate. On the first zombie after Spencer, very, very good job. Only the men in front fired. That's excellent tactical awareness. Good job. Really enjoyed this little gem.
I can't speak to the accuracy of the military tactics and breaching and stuff, but it reminded me a lot of Overlord and Dollhouse, and it's definitely inline with what you see there. Parroting some other comments, it's nice to see a multi-national Foundation in film. The short films I've seen so far are mostly US-centric, so it's cool to see something break the mold. The fight scene was great as well, I wasn't expecting it and the choreography was good! This is a really solid film, especially given the constraints y'all had to work with, great job!
Definitly looking forward to the growth of your team. I am glad you decided to make your first production SCP themed, and I hope there are more to come.
this is the most over the top scp short film i've ever seen, and i love it it's about an recontainment operation inside an scp facility, i already adore this concept. the facility, everything, even the mtf designs, feel like straight from scp: 5k, which is another over the top scp game i like. so even thought this might not be the best scp short, it's one of my favorites, very well done.
SCP Foundation is multi-national and includes big participation from China and Russia. I just find it very satisfying to see an asian cast with an asian accent. Because although its multinational I could see english still being used as a common language for joint cooperation. But I would enjoy projects in entirely different languages. The silencer sound effects are good and the gunshot wound effects are actually some of the most realistic ive seen in cinema. Its not the comical over-gore that saturates cinema for the past 40 years. Even John Wick has comical gunshot wound effects, this film was allot more realistic. The super clean out of the box gear throws me off. And the idle unit chat could be more MILSIM. But thats fine. I actually find this so many times more immersive and thrilling than SCP Overlord and Dollhouse. Cant wait for more!
Dr Spencer's ability to control the infected instances of 008 is not the way i think it is within the SCP Foundation but great work! Love the tactical gear, The MTF's are epic!
Yeah, in the actual SCP, it's literally just a Zombie Virus and nothing else. I can however see a possibility, that Dr Spencer mixed the Virus itself with some psychic agent, which would result in his mutation.
There is so much great content media that can be done in SCP. The game Control, on Xbox live, touches a bit on SCPs but their called something different.
I'm here to write a comment criticizing. We know the virus is extremely dangerous and transmitted through body fluids, but the operatives have exposed skin. The whole group, despite the warning about power outages, rides the elevator. First encounter - instead of making sure the girl is dead, an operative approaches her at an extremely dangerous distance, for which he almost pays with his life. The encounter with the doctor - all the operatives went into a rather cramped room (three would have sufficed, two could have been left outside), and no one made sure the room was safe. Also, they could have finished the doctor off as soon as they were sure he was crazy. Next thing you know, the doctor bursts into the room and the operative who controls the passageway just stands there and watches. Why would the foundation want some cubes in the hallway? An art object? Either way, the last operative should have either hidden and waited for the area to be cleared, or not gotten so close to those cubes to control as much space as possible. When the doctor was lifting him up by the neck and was basically a short distance away there were a few moments where you could conveniently shoot him in the head. And yes, the virus gave the doctor hand-to-hand combat skills in addition to strength? Why didn't the rapid response team open fire as soon as they saw the "humans" coming out of the compound? They know there's nothing left of the last group. That's kind of all I got caught up in while watching it. I don't know how tactically correct their movements were, I'm just saying how it looks from a logical standpoint. And yeah, I'm not saying you got shit, give it up. It's not bad for the first time, the camerawork is great, just pay more attention to detail, and sometimes it's worth giving experts a script or parts of your work, they can definitely tell you how to do better(I mean military, or operatives). It's also very cool that people who like SCP make short films, they are very good at revealing the lore and showing the workings of the MTF and the Foundation I'm using a translator, so something may not be translated correctly.
For all the setbacks and apologies you made beforehand, this is not bad. You need to give yourselves more credit. You were still able to tell a decent short form story from within the SCP universe. Well done!
Realistically mtf the maz hatters would be sent in in a small team like this to establish how bad the breach is and if the war heads should be detonated since containment sites aren't cheap great work
Another SCP gem. Nice work. Costumes and surrounding looks quite profesional. MTF team also did a great job, their movements looked very profesionnal. I mean much better than in many big budget movies lol. This movie has Resident Evil 1 vibes and I really like that. One big downsite was that communication between MTF was very hard to understand. I appreaciate when there is "walkie talkie" sound, but for me it sounded too much like mumbling. For example from conversation in elevator I understood only last two sentences (Keep in mind, aim for head...)
Great film with one small but: The fight with the docktor could have been easier and you wouldn't have had to stretch here. At the beginning it meant shooting clearly and distinctly in the head.
I think it will be best saying it as "Area" not Site because Site is a Contaiment facility such as Site 19 while Area like Bio Armed Area 14 is use mainly on research not for Contaiment i mean yes it also doing a Contaiment for anomalies but mainly it's commonly use for research only especially if it's the same types of anomaly like if it pose a biological threat
awesome good job, I always wish that one day we can get a full awesome SCP film of 2 hours with awesome graphics and stuff. It will be awesome just like godzilla, alien vs predator, prey, battle los angeles, etc. I could just imagine the feeling when an SCP movie will come out in the future, it would be similar to these ones probably...
Nice film, but there are noticable things. -Firstly, the characters have no personality. Like when the second last said "I'll buy you some time". -csgo knife sound -very noticable airsoft gbb pistol sound(without a suppressor too)

Teamlider: "We gotta shoot in the head."
Team: "We know!"
All shoots at the body.
For real! It was so annoying when he kept saying shoot for the head but they all ended up dying because they just shot the body..
lol
There chinglish, so bad, so bad, hiyaa 😅

good reminder that SCP isnt just in the Americas but all over the world
Yessir
Never trust the fucking chinese with scps because this is what happens
"Dr. Spencer. Are you injured? Have you been exposed to any chemicals?"
Dr. Spencer with a white eye
Not to mention blood running from his eyes and pale skin, like the one they already saw a Zombie had.
It's a cool fan-film, but there's a lot to be said about the script itself.
Great that someone remembered a “Site” is in an urban region and an “Area” is in a remote region.
After SCP: Overlord And the 096 Shortmovie, This is One of the Best I've seen
Though this kinda just reminded me of a mix of overlord and doll house like how it was copy pasted together.
Overlord was AWESOME
hands down i think ghost town is better than overlord
This short film was ass. Quite litterally needs modifications to the script, either major or minor
I love how flat all the duologue is... One tone, fantastic acting!
Phenominal work guys. Your efforts to expand the known universe of cinematic SCP does not go unnoticed.
'''Vision and Dream'''

there's nothing really solid in the wiki. every universe is different
Universes are different, in some if there is a breach a MTF team would be sent to contain it. But in some if a handful of anomalies are breached then the site’s warhead would be detonated.
But, uh…that would be boring, wouldn’t it?
Where in the wiki does it say that? Where in the wiki does it even say that every site has a warhead?
I love how adaptable the SCP universe is, and how good the amateur content is. Anyone with a vision can walk up and take a whack at it. Works like this are truly inspiring.
I feel so bad, but as the video started I was like "haha, sounds like someone tryna do a donald duck impression" and then he flicked his head up and sounded just like screaming donald and I LOST IT.
Love to see other student filmmakers' work, especially in the tactical realm!
0:50 if Donald Duck tried flakka 🤣🤣🤣 (for those that don’t know flakka is aka “the zombie drug”)
I love having fellow filmmakers exapnding the SCP universe! Great job guys!

I want to take it seriously but all the zombies make donal duck noises.
LMAO FR💀💀💀
HAH!

Only in for 3 minutes and already knew the whole thing was gonna be great, the MTF costumes we're also very well done and unique. Amazing work to everybody that worked on this.
Excellent and tactically correct gear and movements. Nice fast zombies too

SCP Community is the best. Love the vision here, love the thing as a whole!
Well if they can take a magdump of m193 or sierra match kings to the chest and head and it barely slows them down, I'd say we're screwed
*For everyones safety, this video from this point forwards is only hypothetical.*
lol, fr, but I have never heard of a person taking control of SCP-008 just by modifying the Gene, I thought research on SCP-008 was purposely not done to prevent the research from being used in the future… so that part was pretty much inaccurate
I'm so sorry I missed the premiere, the movie was outstanding, looking forward to the next episode!
The set design, costume design, lighting, and makeup is actually like Hollywood tier on this hood shit
man, the way they just breach exactly like special forces is too good for me
This is very good! Love these films revolving around a containment breach! Great work!

Good job. Really enjoyed this little gem.
I like how they sent in the right Mobile Task Force unit to deal with biohazards (MTF Beta-7)
13:55 - Some security guard. That scientist was no Gordon Freeman.
I mean I don't think there was a lot the guard could do prevent the scientist from infecting him with whatever that was.
I can't speak to the accuracy of the military tactics and breaching and stuff, but it reminded me a lot of Overlord and Dollhouse, and it's definitely inline with what you see there. criminally under rated, very well done for what you guys had for assets
Definitly looking forward to the growth of your team.
I am glad you decided to make your first production SCP themed, and I hope there are more to come.
Nobody watching their six... no one seems to remember their training... not bad for story and for their age and enthusiasm... its a begining
this is the most over the top scp short film i've ever seen, and i love it
it's about an recontainment operation inside an scp facility, i already adore this concept.
the facility, everything, even the mtf designs, feel like straight from scp: 5k, which is another over the top scp game i like.
so even thought this might not be the best scp short, it's one of my favorites, very well done.
If u like this one watch SCP:Overlord, or SCP:Dollhouse by Evan Royalty. Those are some awesome ones too
the vine boom when a zombie does something makes me laugh
The airsoft guns seemed pretty legit tbh. Well done.
The gun sounds are good since they have silencers
SCP Foundation is multi-national and includes big participation from China and Russia. I just find it very satisfying to see an asian cast with an asian accent. This is awesome, well done. I would never had guessed this was done by students! Look forward to what yall have next!
That 4runner was sick.
fr fr zombie actor be shitting his pants while acting
No hate, but didn’t know the zombies spoke Donald Duck
Before it sounded like feral hissing. Now I hear only Donald Duck.
You are a monster
😂💀
@@Spiralblitzful😂💀
There is so much great content media that can be done in SCP. The game Control, on Xbox live, touches a bit on SCPs but their called something different.
I'm betting that the dude who acted as the first zombie had loads of fun lol
I'm here to write a comment criticizing.

It's also very cool that people who like SCP make short films, they are very good at revealing the lore and showing the workings of the MTF and the Foundation
I'm using a translator, so something may not be translated correctly.
i have never seen something so amazingly good and amazingly bad at the same time
For all the setbacks and apologies you made beforehand, this is not bad. You need to give yourselves more credit. You were still able to tell a decent short form story from within the SCP universe. Well done!
Id love a full length feature movie of an scp containment breach..with all the popular ones
Well I've seen SCP Overlord and I have to say that I am surprised from what you've managed to do. I'm really excited for continuation!
This was actually crazy theres gotta be a part 2
Realistically mtf the maz hatters would be sent in in a small team like this to establish how bad the breach is and if the war heads should be detonated since containment sites aren't cheap great work
this was really good for a first try, can't wait to see what your team develops in the future
I feel bad for the person who acted as one of the zombies blud must have been coughing after he was done acting
Another awsome work and its fricking worth to watch.
Good show! Props, attention to detail, shooting dark is a challenge. Good luck! Gotta say, that "Q"RF is going D class for taking so long
Sometimes you can hear their screams through the walls… I sit in here, waiting to meet the lord…
Brilliant short movie, good acting skills and great effort! Well done guys! Congratulations! Loved it!
BRUV THIS IS MORE IMMERSIVE JUST LIKE TRAIN TO BUSAN
that was freaking amazing short film and excited for what in guys will make next time keep it up the good job
Hello I want to say impressive SCP film please make more videos about SCP and please make a part 2
This is just amazing. Thank you for your work!
Pretty good! Looking forward to see more from you guys.
Zombie, dr spencer.
Lost part of Resident evil
Very impressive production for a group of media students. You guys are very underrated. :)
Truly amazing work! Keep it up, I’m definitely up for more vids like this.
sick cant wait for more
Bravo! That was an incredible film!
I’d love to see a behind the scenes sort of video from yall
Great film with one small but: The fight with the docktor could have been easier and you wouldn't have had to stretch here. At the beginning it meant shooting clearly and distinctly in the head.
Man, this short film is wild
"Shoot for the head" *hits chest at point blank" lol
I'm just playing though, really well done! I hope there is more!
The film remains very good,I so excited.
"go get them!"
*Unholy screeches*
Spencer: walks out
Nu-7: LIGHT EM UP!
Excellent!
very good work. Spencer is the new SCP 049 😆
Dude this is freaking awesome guys
An Asian SCP film is a very welcome addition to the canon.
Amazing vid👍🏻 definitely captured that true SCP eeriness
so awesome short movie! pls continue making movies
This is suppose to be scp giving resident evil lore vibes
awesome good job, I always wish that one day we can get a full awesome SCP film of 2 hours with awesome graphics and stuff. It will be awesome just like godzilla, alien vs predator, prey, battle los angeles, etc. I could just imagine the feeling when an SCP movie will come out in the future, it would be similar to these ones probably...
Donald was not a happy duck!
Nice work though guys
this needs more views
PSI-8 or Beta-7 would be more fitting for this situation
Beta-7 since they deal with viruses
Then agian Beta-7 may not be active yet in this universe
For a virus yeah, but Nu-7 is for sites that have lost contact with the rest of the foundation, which is what happened I’m guessing
Nice film, but there are noticable things.
-Firstly, the characters have no personality. Like when the second last said "I'll buy you some time".
-csgo knife sound
-very noticable airsoft gbb pistol sound(without a suppressor too)
THE BEST ON THE WORLD SCP FİLM!
Anybody else notice their using GBB Airsoft Guns?😂 Still good though! Loved it!
