Those even though a few are people the SCP foundation are made for. I wish we had more stories of how good the soldiers are in the foundation, i think we given less credit and think of them like prison guards but they in fact are 🔥👌🏾
Imagine a netflix series. Each episode focuses on a different SCP. Sometimes there could be multiple since some SCP files are longer and have more around them. And some intertwine with one another. Regardless, an actual series would be awesome.

Yes. His quick thinking saved a lot of lives. If he were alive and I in charge, I would have made him in charge and given him a medal. His memory should be remembered.
I have immense respect for the last soldier to die. He saw 096 become agitated and realized he was the cause. Rather than run or scream or hide, he immediately went to work on making sure it doesn't spread any further, even knowing he wouldn't survive the aftermath.
What I love about it is that it never truly shows the face of 096. It gives you the sense that this isn’t a movie but a recording of the incident and interview
Gotta say, after watching this, the SCP lore needs its own million dollar netflix show, so much untapped potential. Edit: holy shit the amount of shitstorm in the replies. Learn to read the date, people. I made this comment 2 years ago, and Netflix was still somewhat good at the time. Looking at Netflix now, of course this comment aged like a milk.
They can't though. Most of the pictures or things such as the most iconic SCPS would have to be remodeled. Go watch Dr. Cimmerian's video on 173 to see why they can't create one.
When I watched the trailer a couple months ago, I was thinking that it was as close as we'd get to a professional-grade SCP visualization, but _this_ is beyond my wildest expectations. Not only did you manage to actually get this done into a completed short movie, stayed true to the original SCP and got all the details right that an SCP nerd would have spotted when done wrong. And everything is professional movie grade, acting, scenery, composition, effects - and most important: Despite knowing the original scip, I was sitting at the edge of my chair and felt the shivers like it's the first time I've heard about 096. This is the reference by which all SCP-movies have to be measured from now on - very well done and thank you very much for this!
I love scp and I have nothing against the positive comments but I haven’t filled my nit picking asshole agenda for today so I’ma just going to say that in the og document they inform him of his termination and give him a time limit... my work here is done
The only thing I didn't love about the movie was 096 himself. I'm too used to hearing his screams from SCP: Containment Breach that, well, the screams in this just don't fit for me. Not to mention the animating was...Well, it was GOOD, but it could have been better.
@@alexrva433 I think it would have been too much so they toned it down a notch. But yeah it would have been bloody awesome to have that OG nightmare fuel
Though i have one very small complaint, The scream didn't sound really like 096, It should have been a bit higher pitched, It was still the best SCP movie out there though!
I absolutely LOVE the doctors acting. His acting outshines the interviewer. He truly sells it that he is dealing with something impossible, from how he flinches when they show him the image to the news his co worker had died despite causing all the chaos.
I’m going to be honest, watching this got me all teary eyed. Just the fact that something that started out as just a bunch people sharing their creepy, sad or straight up wacky ideas over the internet soon turned into something so iconic is just so beautiful to me. We’ve had games and now a movie just based on theses people’s ideas, SCP is certainly a gem.
Well to be fair, they are criminals. But the Foundation doesn't just send them into containment boxes and watch them suffer as an SCP kill them. Even if that is the case, there has to be a good reason behind it, like you must make a sacrifice for containment or something. 1 or 2 lives are not a hundred or potentially millions of lives. Remember, they all have to follow procedures and the Ethics Committee is there to make sure nothing super inhumane happens. If you think that the Foundation can just throw in D-Class personnel into a containment box with an SCP, you're wrong. Again, the Ethics Committee will prevent that. So basically if you want to throw in a bunch of Class-Ds just to see if SCP-939 will kill them, that's just inhumane and the EC won't let you do that. But, if you want to test SCP-939 on some other stuff, that's totally reasonable because you are trying to discover the capabilities of the anomaly so you can be more prepared in the future in case if there is to be a massive breach or something. Remember. "Cold, not cruel".
I don't think his deliveries were believable and he was overacting. Although not realistic I did find him *entertaining.* Imagine if we didn't have him in this video, the whole thing may have been more realistic but it would have been very flat, probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much without him.
I think his acting was great. He did his role as Dr. Daniels well as an incredibly nervous doctor who was conscious of his actions of releasing 096 in hopes of getting permission to terminate it, and it turned out well in the end. Him being a bit hyper is more of a nitpick, but it did make his character more entertaining to watch and also fits well with the stereotype of him being a sort of "insane scientist". I think the only actor who I didn't like is the Interviewer Arlia. While her acting wasn't bad, it's not impactful compared to the others. Her tone of voice was kind of weak, minimal body movement and overall her presence in the film was pretty low. But she is a great actor, I just wished she put more energy into it.
The most fictional thing in this film where a super secret organisation dedicated to the research and safe keeping of unnatural, other worldly, eldrich horrors, monsters and entities. Is the fact that the A-10 warthog managed to hit a moving target twice.
He didnt actually sacrifice himself, he accidentally saw it and knew he had to do something, so he scratched it out so noone else would get hurt..........but still...he saved lives
I was always afraid that attempting to create a movie from SCP universe will kill the atmosphere and won't translate very well into the screen, but this movie convinced me otherwise. It was truly the feast for my eyes, I love it.

As lore has it that all MTF members are recruited from all SF units worldwide, king is the right word, as he made a fast, but intelligent, decision, the kind expected of Delta/DEVGRU/SAS/SBS, to name but four with international renown, with even further Selection, likely based on the lines of the CIA's ultra-secretive SAD/SAC - SOG (aka Josh Brolin/Jeffery Donovan's characters in the 'Sicario' series). So, likely to be a tough, seasoned, warrior, but smart with it ... he may even have been a PJ, whose motto is the famous "That Others Shall Live" ...

Although I’m glad they didn’t re-use SCP-096’s scream from the game this one sounded like a frenchmen who’s baguette just got hit with the femur breaker and sort of sounded too human at certain points Still amazing video
Description: SCP-096 is a frenchman measuring approximately 1.76 meters in height. Subject shows a great desire for baguettes, with preliminary analysis of body mass suggesting mild malnutrition. Skin is mostly devoid of pigmentation, with signs of a mustache, subject wears a striped shirt and a anomalous irremovable beret. SCP-096 is normally docile, with pressure sensors inside its cell indicating it spends most of the day reading*. However, when someone takes away his baguette, doesn't follow proper "etiquette" or uses pineapple on food, if SCP-096 sees this, whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph, it will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress. SCP-096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately one (1) to two (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who "Insulted the French" (who will from this point on be referred to as SCP-096-1). *At the time of writing, the origin of these books is unknown, but the overal subject appears to be French cuisines.
The intro was that of a full fledged movie and got me hooked so god damn easily it was like that one spongebob episode The way it was styled as an interrogation and showed the clips as it was going on, couldn’t have asked for anything more Than that ending, holy hell, it tied everything together, with the O5 knowing about him doing the breach to get the termination, and oleksi being alive is exactly how I’d imagine the O5 doing this kind of investigation. The mtf who started scribbling out his face was a real chad. He KNEW as soon as shy guy was triggered he HAD to scratch it out at all costs, he didn't care about living. he only cared about his misson.
He knew that his life was over. There was no known way to stop what was about to happen so his last action was to prevent anyone from accidentally looking at the picture again. Still highly commendable but it wasn't a "either live or die saving others from this" situation. He was dead either way, better make the best out of it
Of course he cared about living, that's what makes it hit the way it does. He knew he was going to die and there was nothing he could do to stop it. He had to go through all of that in that moment and still knew what he had to do.

“torturing 096 is inhumane”
D class: so we’re not human?
SCP Foundation: No
Well to be fair, they are criminals.

Dr. Daniel is the best actor in this whole film it amazes me how I haven’t seen this man in any major movies in the film industry!!
He reminds me so much of John Hurt.
The woman had good acting as well, she was calm and collected and did not show emotion, as any personnel interviewer would.
The most fictional thing in this film where a super secret organisation dedicated to the research and safe keeping of unnatural, other worldly, eldrich horrors, monsters and entities. Is the fact that the A-10 warthog managed to hit a moving target twice.

Basically just Amanda’s traps from saw 3 but more existential horror

wow they treat even the scps better than D-classes
No bruh
Everyone watching this vid will get killed by scp 096
Jk
SCP Foundation task is to secure SCPs not CDs and SCPs aren't like in hotel there they have their procedures and not big chamber
"torture is inhumane"
Yes, the Femur Breaker is totally not a torture device.
Is it just me or does 096 kind of sound like a deranged muppet? Apart from that, this was absolutely amazing! Great work!
Honestly made me think of LEGO Yoda dying
wish he kept the original scream would have been much freakier
it would probably been better to use the sound effects used in SCP:CB , though it would be a real legal hassle...
@@Jizukiru not at all, SCP:CB assets can be ripped shamelessly and they cannot do anything about it because of how the SCP intellectual property falls under Crrative Works commons
They absolutely could have used it
That was actually one of the few things that bugged me, as good as this movie was. I thought the screams sounded a little to low, maybe a bit too alien instead of disturbingly human. I still respect MrKlay's decision to use new sounds instead of SCP:CB's though. CB's are so well known, and they're more tooled to work like a jump-scare instead of to stimulate lasting terror.
this is really well done, i'm a big fan of the SCP lore, and scp-096 is my favorite scp, so to see this short film about 096 made me really excited
i really liked how the camera changed and it gave us scp-096's pov
for those who don't understand why scp-096 is crying and for those who don't understand why the eyes of the MTF have been pulled out, scp-096 pulls the eyes out of a human because scp-096 doesn't want anyone to see it's face, after this action 096 goes into a depression state after killing, he has the mindset to understand what he did and feels guilty.
Those actors crushed it. They both understood their assignments

Agreed, the guy who played Dr Dan and the lady who played the agent were both great.
This "short" is an undeniable example of a masterpiece, with the effects, places, astounding CGI and most importantly, the actors and the clothes! This is by far one of the best fan-made movies I have ever seen!
i can agree ... it truely is a work of art, something you dont see much of in modern day youtube Society
I wouldn't call the CGI astounding but its fucking amazing for a kickstarter funded project
The only weakness this has was the shitty audio for the actress.
@@brunneng38 well mabye one thing off is the low audio.

I would absolutely love to see an actual scp show
A budget doesn't make quality. In fact, IMO, there IS such a thing as excessively high budgets. What do most high budget productions have in common? They are for the most part mediocre and generic. Past a certain amount, budget stifles creativity instead of enhancing it. High-quality special effects in blockbuster productions are often used to disguise narrative weaknesses.

"We're a bit disorganised"
Ethics Committee at its best: pretending to be bumbling and disorganised while actually holding the real power at the foundation...
You forgot how many people claim there is no ethics committee. So not only do they have the real power, but they also exist with most people unaware of their existence!

An SCP tv series would honestly be insane. Just imagine an entire season with each episode showing these anomalies being captured only for it to lead to events of security breach.
i'd cam if that happened
If that ever happened, I'd love to see episodes for the sculpture, plague doctor, yule man, and not deer
