    Great presentation. What I took from the info is leave great 1st impression, upload drivers license and notary certificate, have a dressed up picture as yourself up on snapdocs, register for closings in a populated area, write down years of notary experience, sign in, and accept assignments quickly. I like how Mark summarized everything the lady said (who is cute by the way, wink wink, lol). God Bless.

    I've gotten about 15 and only been out on two. I responded to every one of them as available and when I get it 15 minutes later they take it away and give it to another signing agent. So look around and sign up with as many signing services as possible DO NOT just rely on snap docs for a steady stream of signings. Because it won't happen! I have began going direct and relying more on my in-person marketing to escrow offices and title companies and less on Signing services as your competing with 1000's people.

      @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem  2 года назад

      Hi Pamela! Thank you so much for reaching out! I'm so happy to hear that you're new to the signing agent industry and that thus video is!
      The only features you 100% without-a-doubt need in a printer are these: dual tray & laser.
      In fact, I've created an entire video blog about why a dual tray laser printer is a must. Read that resource here to see what I mean:
      www.loansigningsystem.com/blog/as-a-notary-pubic-loan-signing-agent-get-a-dual-tray-laser-printer
      I do recommend the Brother printer, BUT! Just because I mention the Brother brand does NOT mean that's you one you have to choose for yourself. You know what's best for you and your loan signing business, my goal is to merely offer you guidance along the way.
      Hoping this was helpful!

    Hi Mark! Thanks for all this info! I'm looking into your online course:). I did have a question about snapdocs, though. I'm a new notary and have only done a few signings. What do you suggest I put in the "about me" area in my profile where I need to write about my experience, so that I don't look like such a newbie. Thank you! :)

    • @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem
      @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem  5 лет назад +2

      Hi tara!
      I am excited to help you grow your business, and keep in mind this is a business! you should have a business plan and marketing strategy as all business owners do! thats what i teach!
      snapdocs is only ONE of a ton of ways to get signings as a signing agent-keep that in mind!
      As far as the 'about me" section, i wouldn't over think! Think of it like a resume', anything that you would be believe that makes you stick out! the truth of the matter is snapdocs is so algorithm based- the about me section is not read in great detail by the signing service very often!
      thats why there is business for newbies!
      excited to see your business blossom!

    Should I just get my notary commission and be certified through your course? Instead of the NNA. Just watched some of your escrow officer interviews. They literally don’t care about NNA, and you stated they don’t really teach people as much as your course does. 🙏🏽 Thanks for your reply!

      Hi! I have great news for you!
      Loan Signing System’s course does not provide you with your commission because that can only be issued by your State and the requirements to become a notary public vary across the country. But! I do provide helpful information on how to best obtain your commission as I have a whole module in my course dedicated to this topic!
      In fact, I want you to read this resource about why many of my students have found it most effective to complete Loan Signing System first:
      help.loansigningsystem.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036098392-Should-I-wait-to-become-a-notary-before-completing-Loan-Signing-System-s-training-

    Hi Mark! I haven’t completed many signings due to my “Brother” and “Mac” having severe difficulties getting along. So I was really afraid to take the jobs when they came through. However, I finally got them two to cooperate. I really feel confident with the knowledge of the forms and my ability to speak and relate to people has always been a strength of mine. The question I have for you is can I walk into a Relator’s office and speak directly to the Escrow office to introduce myself as a local efficient Loan Signings Agent willing to service the company or would that be out of place or too bold?

    when doing signing from a signing service do we still need to make copies for packaging the docs or would you just send in only the original docs and the person who hired you for the signing makes the copies? or do we only make copies for the packaged docs when we are doing it directly from a loan officer or escrow officer?

    • @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem
      @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem  5 лет назад +5

      not sure of the question Brian but ill take stab at the answer!
      when you are headed to a signing whether that be from a signing service or from a loan officer or an escrow officer you need to bring two sets of the loan documents to the signing. one set that needs to be signed by the borrower (that you will return signed) and one set you need to give to the borrower to keep.
      to take answer a little farther- if you get the signing from a signing service they will email you the loan docs therefore you are responsible to print out two sets of the loans.
      if you get the signing directly from a loan officer or an escrow officer they usually will print out the two sets of documents for you.
      hope this helps! if you have any other questions let me know!

    Hi Mark, I live in NW WY, my fees are higher compared to city signers. I have had several Signing Agents affiliated with Snapdocs and I feel, due to my fees for travel, keep me from getting the jobs. Do these companies realize the travel involved for rural areas. I am certified with Snapdocs.

    • @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem

      hi rebecca! unfortunately snapdocs, is the middle man, they are not the ones setting the fees.
      it is the signing service that uses snapdocs to find the notary that is setting the fees. your frustration should lie with the signing service not snapdocs.
      your frustration is also why i teach all my students to bypass the signing service, and get the whole fee! if you want help with that you can watch my interview with an escrow officer from first american. or you can always become a student!

    • @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem
      @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem  5 лет назад +2

      there are only two background checks that are accepted by the industry-Sterling and the NNA.
      seeing that the background check also comes with the NNA certification I recommend to all of my students to get the NNA certification. its super cheap and knocks out two birds with one stone.
      but here what you also need to know, is just because you have a cleared background check doesn't mean your phone rings off the hook.
      Learning how to market your business is the most important thing to have not a cleared background as every singing agent has that. Learning how to separate you from every other signing agent is the most important thing.
      so my advice is taking signing agent marketing course FIRST then get your background check done second. i made a video explaining why here:

    Question regarding changing your address in real time... If you change your address for the day because you’ll be in that area, if you get a signing while out, how do you print out the documents when you aren’t allowed to use a public printer and are hours from home?

    I just saw your video. Well partially. I have been doing notaries for nearly 30 years. It doesn't seem that you asked about how someone could give you a negative rating and you aren't allowed to see that negative message. Then you can lose business because of this. This is very upsetting for me because it is one sided. I do not understand their rationale behind that. It can lead to one losing business for inaccurate information. It is not transparent to the notary and I am trying to figure this one out. I live in Maui where there are very few of us and yet there is one company who suddenly stopped sending orders. I am trying to find out what happened because obviously someone must have said something. Did you ask her about this at all? It is the thing that upsets me the most.

    • @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem
      @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem  4 года назад

      The short answer is Snapdocs is just the platform Signing Services use-they are not the signing service.
      They allow each SS keep their own records on each signing agent that other SS's can not see.
      I get it is frustrating but imagine if every SS saw each negative review it would hurt your business even more-i believe this is why the remarks are not public.

    • @mauiskater
      @mauiskater 4 года назад

      Mark Wills the signing companies do see these. That’s why they can stop business with you even with inaccurate one sided info. It should NOT be public but the notary should be able to see so they can talk to the hiring agency to rectify if possible. Snapdocs doesn’t need to mediate. It’s between the signing company or title and the notary. Why put a negative comment and not tell the notary so they can rectify it. Why would you not tell the person you hired about an error etc. It’s very one sided and isn’t fair to notaries. There is no transparency
