As a new notary considering this course, and one who is doing some homework on loan signing, I have some questions. First, if every agent must be NNA certified, does your course provide that certification or must we take their course separately? Also, if a background check is required, is that provided for with your course? Would other background checks qualify for this? For example, I currently work and volunteer in my local school district. They require a criminal background check to do so. Would this meet the requirement for NNA certification? Next, regarding costs - you discussed how if you get business through a signing agency that you would be required to print out the hundreds of document pages yourself - not cool in my book! Yet it sounds like you HAVE to start out this way to gain experience. Is there any way to bypass signing agencies right from the start? When working directly with loan officers or escrow companies, is this paperwork always provided for you? Next, I've heard that as a new and inexperienced agent it's very difficult to get anyone to hire you at all. So how do you break in (honestly, not by lying about your experience!) and start getting work and building your reputation? Thanks.

    • @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem

all great questions! let me try to answer them below, if i missed anything feel free to call me (618-878-3431) so i can clarify anything personally with you!
      1. First and foremost do you HAVE to be nna certified to be a signing agent. that answer is-no. BUT since most (not all) title companies require it I strongly encourage it to maximize your income potential.
you can only take the NNA certification through the NNA. there is a link to their certification in my course or you can go directly to their website. They offer a bunch of products but you only have to have their $65 certification that INCLUDES their industry accepted back ground check.
      2. Which leads me to your second question. There are few 'background checks" that are accepted by title companies but it doesn't make sense to offer those different background checks in my course since the NNA certification comes with a industry accepted one. I am here to help you start your business the most cost effectively and if you the NNA certification should be obtained anyhow and it comes with a background check i would lead you in that direction.
      3. the reason some title companies want a secondary background check on top of your state required one is because your commission is good for multiple years. But if you broke the law in year two of your commission then how would anyone know. a yearly background check fixes that issue.
      4. i have numerous students who have never worked for signing services. in fact their testimonials on this channel proving such!
      5. how do you get business as new signing agent? by displaying competence. COMPETENCE EQUALS CONFIDENCE. if you can display to a potential client you know what you are doing (which you can via training) they will trust you and use you. I have a ton of students who have built successful signing businesses from scratch!! Id love to help you build yours!

Hi I’m currently living in Washington state but am planning to move to Vegas during the summer or sooner of 2021. Is there a way I can be a notary/ signing agent in both Washington and Vegas??? Or should I just wait till I am in Vegas?

    • @MarkWillsLoanSigningSystem

Hey Ashley! It is absolutely possible to be a signing agent in multiple states :) The only requirement is to have a notary commission in the state you will be doing business in. But! For you situation, if you are moving to Vegas and plan on staying there & not being in Washington too often, I would recommend starting my course while you're in the process of getting your notary commission in Vegas, as there is a learning curve :)
In fact, many of my students have found it effective to use the downtime while going through their notary commission process to fully immerse themselves in my course material so that they are ready to hit the ground running when it arrives in the mail.
If you haven't already, I want you to watch this recent interview I've done with LSS student Kriss who is in Vegas who just hit his six figure goal! His story is so inspiring!

Around 60 dollars and prints 8-10,000 pages.

Im deciding if I should take your course or the National Notary Association, which includes an autotmatic background check. Since a lot of escrow companies do ask for this. Also, I need to know does your company measure up to the respect of the National Notary Association, which a lot of them base their decision on the NNA, because of the background screening.

Hi! should you be NNA certified-absolutely! but does being nna certified get you signings-NO! every signing is NNA certified, you need to learn how to market your signing agent business.
thats is the key difference between our courses. i teach you how to make money in this business.
my course will give you the link to when you should take the nna certification as timing of when you take it is imperative to not throwing money away.
remember if every single signing agent is nna certified-why should an escrow company choose you.

Hello, I would like to know if the Loan signing course shows step by step how to conduct the loan signing meeting? I have completed the NNA loan signing course and recieved the material, however its not clear to me when a person is actually ready in the learning process. If so, how does the loan signing system make learning the documents easier than other courses?

hi eddie!! Excited to have you as a student! my first piece of advice is take my course now! Use the time that you are waiting for your commission between when you apply for your commission and when it comes in the mail. That is when you want to study the course. So many beginning signing agent’s wait until the commission comes in the mail. Then start studying the course. Instead of using the period in which there is nothing to do and study-does that make sense?
When you become a student ill tell the most effective ways to network!
looking forward to getting to know you eddie!

Hi tom! the answer is a resounding YES! in fact i usually encourage my new signing agents to "bite your teeth" with SS business then move to direct. my particular course comes with a business plan on how to graduate to direct by going through SS first! This model will inevitably having you doing both SS business and title and escrow at the same time.

    • @LauriefromCA
      @LauriefromCA 3 года назад

A confused mind says no. Most borrowers do not understand all the logistics of loan docs and most title companies release the sets of docs to notary signing agents to complete the signing. Also, most signings take place at the title company during the day with a notary or in the evening at the borrowers home with a mobile notary.
Mortgage loans stress people out and time is money. Borrowers would rather be in the comfort of their own home then to nit pick a $125 fee and having to take time off from work to go to a bank during banking hours just to see if it would be free. My guess is the bank and a minimum would charge $15 per signature per document and as is the price in California. With two borrowers on most loans, that fee can add up quick and not show much of a savings for the effort it would take to rearrange the borrowers schedules to go to a bank for the discount.
Former loan agent (2002 - 2007) and former notary (2002 - 2014) here. I plan to renew my notary soon!
