Great job! I make my own tools too. Recently lost a rear leaf spring shackle on our 2000 GMC. Thought I was going to have to make a similar tool. Luckily the bushing in the spring was O K. How are you making out with the rust repair on your truck? Looking forward to how you make out! I like how you think "outside the box".
Thanks! The only way to think is outside the box. It’s on the back burner for now I’ve been busy with work. But I’m gonna get back on getting the rest cleaned up on it here pretty soon.
