@@thematt523 I think Mel Brooks was waiting for the next Star Wars movie to come out (which could have been expected in 1986, based on the 3 year gap between the previous 3 movies). Vespa: This is the end, FASTER!!!!
Lone Star actions the fast button!
1:15 - "Pizza to go! HA! HA! HA!"
You know, it's funny. The song talks about how tough and menacing the Spaceballs are, yet it's played when they're about to be defeated.
Pizza to go! Honestly, the best line in this scene
I don't get it.
You know, there’s actually going to be a Spaceballs prequel that explains how the cancellation button got out of order. It’s called “Winabego One: A Spaceballs Story”
0:03 President Skroob: What's going on? Where the hell are we, Paris?!
Computer: THANK YOU FOR PRESSING THE SELF DESTRUCT BUTTON, THE SHIP WILL SELF DESTRUCT IN EXACTLY, 2 MINUTES AND 45 SECONDS.
@@danacarter9147 You've gotta stop it! Is there any way to stop it?
@@jaredruff9823 I can’t do that, it’s irreversible!
@@spwash1000 Like my raincoat.
ATTENTION! THIS IS COLONEL SANDERS IN FORWARD COMMAND! ABANDON SHIP!
This movie taught me the value of a reversible rain coat.
"I'm the bearded lady. What are you? One of the freaks?" LOL
The megamaid explosion is way smoother than both DS explosions in the OT, IL&M really knows how to outdo itself
Honestly them bracing for destruction is actually pretty brave. Hilarious facial expressions as well.
Dark helmet:"OUT OF ORDER?! F***, even in the future nothing works!"
2:38 "Out of order?!" "Fuck! Even in the future nothing works!"
“This ship will self-destruct in exactly 10 seconds.”

You can feel the andreline and the feeling of victory.
'Hey get out of there! Where do you think you're going?!'
'Pizza to go!'
😂😂😂
Thank you for pressing the self destruct button...
2:06 The Bear was actually cool with the President coming with him at first. He's probably thinking "This will be a good snack in case I get hungry along the way"
Who even let that bear on the ship?
Also if the bear wasn't on the ship the remaining three should share the last escape pod
@@SalaciaYTthe evacuation mentioned a zoo.
Fun fact: The pod ejection sequence was a discarded clip from a Star Wars movie. At least, that is I have heard.
I love the maniacal laugh the pizza man makes before shutting the escape pod door
This is a classic Mel’s brook movie. As a huge Star Wars fan this spoof of Star Wars is classic. They just confirmed spaceballs two is in the works. Love Mel brooks a true comic genius
That little wave the bear gives gets me every time
Humor is amazing in this movie, but don't forget to appreciate the fantastic music as well. There is so many good scores, so try and focus listening to it next time you see the movie.
It really does have a great score for sure
I'M THE BEARDED LADY, WHAT ARE YOU, ONE OF THE FREAKS?!
That's my escape pod! No. Come back you fat bearded Bitch!
