Great information on how to clean your cpap equipment!! ❤
Glad it was helpful! Thank you so much! Let me know if anything else is needed, I would be happy to help!
Thank you for the very helpful information. Very helpful!!! You may have already shared this. So, apologies if I missed it. My water chamber is starting to have some off-coloring in the corners. Any recommendations as to how get to rid of this 'staining'? Or, do I need to replace the water chamber?
Glad it was helpful and no worries! If you have scrubbed warm soapy water already and nothing. It might be time to replace if it has been over 6 months that may be a reason as well.
I've used a small tooth brush, finger nail brush, or cotton swabs to scrub all of the corners of the water chamber.
I’m here for the dimples!! But seriously, this is great info.
Lol! Appreciate the compliment with both.
This may be silly but you mix, vinegar water and soap together?
No, either soap and water or vinegar and water.
I did soap vinegar and water it’s work for me 👍
i just got one of these machines.. is there a place to register, and get help. tips, support and products?

Thank you so much from this new cpap user! I know soap physically removes buildup, but if we use distilled water to avoid bacteria, why dont we use sink water to clean everything? Love the Tarzan and cowboy move lol. I'll have to do that haha! Prob around my unassuming kids! That hose hanger looks Just like the hose holder on my vacuum. Good thinking! Very informative and fun to watch!
=)
I use sink water for cleaning without a problem. Some people have sink, or tap, water that has lots of mineral deposits in it and that might leave undesirable deposits in your equipment. That's why I think the companies recommend using distilled water.
Please add more detail about cleaning the water chamber and the gasket that goes between the two pieces. I was told the gasket needs to be cleaned carefully and you didn't show that.
The water chamber should have been mentioned. It needs to be cleaned with warm soapy water weekly. It should be cleaned warm soapy water rinsed and air dried. The piece you are speaking of I believe is the silicone gasket that comes out of the water chamber that should be the same. It is part of the chamber if that is what you are referring to. Please let me kow but we will do a more detailed cleaning process.
I confused…do I wash the water chamber every night or just weekly. Thanks.
Hi how are you! Maybe what I said was missed. But I say same thing in every video and for last 12+ years. Water Chamber, Tubing and Check Filter "Weekly". Everyday top off the water chamber to max line and wash or wipe down the mask. Please let me know if I can help more.
@@Sleeplayground Thank you so much! Just saw this reply now. :)
@@Sleeplayground. I realize everyone probably does things slightly differently, but one thing that I’ve never heard is to “top off” your water chamber! I have always heard to at least “rinse” and add more water. That doesn’t take much more time and effort but your water would be clean and not perpetuating germs all week.
How do you remove the cousion
Hi,
Thanks for reaching out! Which cushion are you speaking of the F20 full face?

I thought we were supposed to use distilled water to wash the tubing. Is tap water ok?
Yes, if you rinse and dry efficiently that should be fine.
Yes tap water is fine
What does the Original ink say?
I apologize, I do not understand the question.
It says use distilled water but video was sink water?
When using sitting in the chamber on a daily basis the distilled water if great. When cleaning if you are drying off you should not have a problem using regular water and soap. It is not sitting in your tank or being blown threw the machine.
What soap do you recommend
Any dish soap perhaps lightly scented so it does not bother you.
Is baby shampoo okay?
Ty!
You are very welcome! Let me know if anything is ever needed, I would be happy to help!
i feel silly saying this but i havnt cleaned my since i got it, i was told to use fairy liquid original only as it streak free, i was also told you cannot use wipes for the cleaning of the mask too. this is why i never cleaned it. i would like to say that if you dont clean it you will start to see your skin flake, ich and go red. thanx for the advice
