- So - the Scratch Built Trestle Bridge Finished video is up and LIVE. I've said it a dozen times but this was really just a fun and rewarding build. This has been the largest structure that I've built to date - and all scratch built. There were so many pieces to cut and measure - to date there's over 500 parts. I don't have an accurate count, but I'm working on that. Any way I hope you all enjoyed the journey as much as I have. Peace y'all.

Well done!
Came for Reggie, stayed for the bridge. Great work!
Hahaha I'ma get him on the next one or the one right after - man honestly he's a lotta work to do lmao - and thanks homie.
You are already a MMR in my book .I especially like your attitude toward what could be a very long and tedious job. One could come away "bent" after a project like this with out your attitude. Keep up the great work.
My man I really do appreciate that - and yep I see what you did there... bent lmao
Great work! I love your hat!
Very nice build. I learned long ago to stain all the wood before gluing. Most glues that modelers use will not accept stain and the glue joints really stand out after staining. I just finished a Tichy Train Group flatcar build and I painted each board on the deck a different shade of brown so that no two were alike and mixed paint in communion cups as I went along. Came out super looking. I wonder how much wood you actually used constructing the bridge. Cheers from eastern TN
Happy little mistakes Bob Ross would say…lol . That bridge is absolutely beautiful!! Outstanding. I hope you get your MMR. Dammmmnnnn.
My guy - and yeah man BR is the man - I love happy little mistakes. Thanks bro.
😱 that looks so good. Wow. I love it.
Love the bolt detail...super awesome result. Definitely a time consuming job...I did have some paint and wash rejection on the bridge I just finished due to gluing before adding pigment. Not as detailed as yours but super happy with it still. 🙏
Bridge looks amazing, great craftsmanship. Lasers are amazing, I've made at least 5 buildings for my layout with it.
Ohhhhh man - we gotta talk lol - and thanks.
Amazing work. She turned out so real. Mind blown. Thank you for sharing.
Very nice job 👌👍
Really nice job on your bridge, Waylon. Your artistic talents shine again.
Hey Melvin - I thank you my friend.
Wow!! Nice build. Bob
Preciate cha Bob as always.
Hey, I just watched your video and I really like what you are doing and saying. I am in my 70s and just starting O scale railroading. I’m trying to learn stuff and truly enjoy your work. You seem real. Keep up the great work. From: Arlin in G R, Mich

Hey bro I appreciate that - 👍
Great build man! Your hard work really paid off.
Thanks bro - sooo much fun.
Really great work, thanks for sharing. Be blessed.
Hey there - thank ya!! preciate cha
the bridge looks superb, your rebounded nicely with post staining the glue spots, well done. That stain is great, ive seen others use it. I am sold on it without ever trying it yet because of videos like yours. I thought the washers were NBW castings at first, I would have never guessed it was cut on a laser. Top shelf work. is your laser a 5 watt or 10 watt unit? Cheers Rob
Hey Rob - thanks a bunch man. Yeah I wish I would have stained everything at once lol - and it's a 10watt. I love that thing. Be safe buddy
Great build and a good video. Would like to see the wood sizes that you use
Thanks bro and I'm working on the sizes now and will post to my FB page
Mad Skills. Incredible Work.
Nice work....Have you done research on how real trestles were built say in 1901 without electric drills for bolt holes ?
That is some seriously epic shit! Where is the bridge going to go?
Hahaha I see what you did there - and it'll go on the next layout I do. Thanks bro.
Did you follow any prints or plans for this build? I am planning on a trestle bridge for my layout.
I notice on your finish trestle bridge you showed the bolts used in prototype, original, build. What did you use .. or how did you make them
I'd like to buy one of your models that's been graffiti
Well dumby me I watched
really dont need that noisey shit at the start that wakes the kids up, and to be honest, dont need that "music" that really does not add to the experience.
