I have some ideas for other stains for another bridge to build in the near future as well as a wooden tunnel portal. Thanks for watching, and your gracious comment.
You should replace the span over the lower track with some plate girders. There’s no way that your wooden span as designed would hold a prototypical train.
Thank you for stopping by. I based the bridge off of some photos online. It span over the water looks like the one I built. However, mine isn't as tall because I needed clearance for the trains below, so that was my compromise to make it work for me.
I’m planning on scratch building a S curve trestle like this through a bayou. Along with 4 other wooden bridges along the layout. It’s intimidating to start it honestly it’ll likely be about 5 foot long. The S wouldn’t entirely be just one trestle but inbetween a couple of sandbars until it crosses the bayou
You probably already know this, but make sure you have a straight section of track between your opposing curves in you S bend. It will help keep your cars from derailing. You wouldn't want them tumbling off the bridge into the drink! Thanks for watching.
Excellent. Just start and the intimidation factor disappears as you gain more experience. It’s true with any project. Don’t let fear stop your forward progress. Cheers

Very nice!
Very nice bridge build. Think I'll be giving it a good ole college try. Cheers from eastern TN
