It's fascinating to see how much being able to 3D print parts has added to scratch building. I really adds to your tool kit. Beforehand you would have needed to borrow parts from a tank kit or four for those tracks. Great build and an interesting idea to use a tram.
The great thing about 3d printing is once you have the object, one can print as many as needed. I've lost count on how many times I've found an awesome greeblie only to find out... I don't have enough. Thanks for watching.
Really loved your build, guy. Great techniques on the base, vehicle and figures. Finally, I loved the plastic lawn chair you placed on the upper deck. Most fitting in a post apocalypse world...
This was really cool. I would've added some kind of restraining strap to the drums to keep them in place when the vehicle was in motion -- even fully-loaded and weighed-down, the vibration would cause them to slide around all over the place.
Amazing how the wipers rubber are always in a great condition, despite of the dramatic scenarios. I mean, by the look of the window, the rubbers never get worn, neither the windows get a crack or brake. Quite a phenomena on every dioramas I see. Great job tho.👍
Valid points if the vehicle wasn't used. I would suspect these survivors are able to do some level of maintenance on important vehicles that are crucial to their survival. Thanks for watching.
Good Day Modelcomrade The idea and the Modelbuild is the Madness..😊🤗🤗🤗 Looks Great and the Diorama is the burner ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐from me for this exelent work Greets from Christian at Germany 😊
I have to admit. That looks like an *awesome* place to live. If I ever win a lot of money, I'm going to *contact you to design my new home.* Screw getting an architect or well known designer. You're IT.
Great video! I really enjoyed seeing you work through your process and see the scene come together! Weathering is one of my favorite things to do and I'd say you knocked it out of the park. Can't wait to see more!
fantastic diorama. when you make your plaster of paris add some of the childrens white latex glue to the mix. it will take away the brittleness of the plaster...
I think you balanced the weathering just right. The final result was really cool. I can't decide which I'd prefer: guys with rifles and spotlights on that defensive platform, or mounted turrets with spotlights.
I was on the fence about how far the weathering should go. I agree, post-apocalypse should have a lot of weathering but I figured these guys would need to have some level of maintenance. Thanks for watching
love this build! I could see maybe adding some light moss patches in the crevasses on the roof with maybe an odd one or two bullet casings from previous raids up there?
I've done that on previous builds and I did that at first on this one but it all went south. So, I ended up just doing the gloss. I think a got a bit enthusiastic and put too much clear resin on the lens. Thanks for watching
well done, looks great, and thanks for explaining things. I've watched loads of videos with modellers saying their doing the zenethol highlight (did I spell that right), but this is the first video that I've seen that actually told me what it is lol!
Wild, you have one heck of an imagination. I build models, but not nearly as detailed as you. I watched your land tug build, and that was really cool. But I think this one takes the cake. Keep up the good work.
Nice job... I was just thinking if something to emulate screw heads would be nice to put over that "container sheets" covering the side windows... And some dark blue wash on solar panels
Wonderful work! Great idea to convert the streetcar into a tracked vehicle. And weathering is enough, I would have just expected perhaps more damage to the car body considering its age. Maybe some cracked windows too.
This is amazing. Will you say you made the bottom of the spotlight can you tell me how and where? I keep seeing that a lot of times people are making certain things and I'm just kind of clueless on that. I'm a new diorama builder. And then also is there access to the STL files that you create for fee?
Just came across this in my recommended list, I was about to skip past it and thought "you know what, I'll give it a go" and I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed watching it. Good result without an over complicated procedure. I'd love to own a 3D printer Unfortunately I'm a little "technically challenged" when it comes to computers and I expect they cost more than I could afford. Anyway, it's a like and subscribe from me. Cheers buddy.
I was a bit overwhelmed at first as I normally am when I try to learn something totally new to me. There are so many great communities on Facebook that helped get through any issues I had and it was well worth the time. My 3d printers have added an indispensable tool to my workflow. Thanks for watching and for the sub.
Brilliant work, I have watched this a few times now and learned a bunch! Do you have any spare Stalker type fellows to sell? I am in Melbourne as well, this video gave me a brilliant idea for a diorama.
Looks really awesome (and I don't use that word likely). The video production is really good as well, looks like you have a true passion for this kind of work! Have a sub, can't wait to see what you come up with next! If you would like a suggestion: I think it should be more dirty, especially the floors inside of the vehicle. Outsides should be beat up, some bullet holes and burn marks, more mud and dirt, especially since it is on threads so it would make a lot of mess. Some paper and twigs for the ground and stuff like that... One thing I learned with lvl/env design is that small things like that make a huge difference when going for realism! Also, lots of reference photos, especially for details! Anyways, have a good one!
Great theme, great execution. Great placement. Great paint job. Love it!!
Well done, I would never have thought of turning a tram into a tank/recovery vehicle & you can never have to much ageing.
When I saw the model kit I just couldn't resist. Thanks for watching

This is very creative! I never thought anyone would "Mad Max-ify" a streetcar, but this looks great! Thanks for sharing this with us!
I just couldn't resist it. It had such a cool look. Thanks for watching.
Pretty Kool - the tram with the tracks (a neat idea)!
Yeah, I thought so. Thanks for watching
Absolutely outstanding work 🎉

I agree
Wonderful 👌👌

Fantastic stuff 👏 ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing work! Those tracks and solar panels really add allot to the overall wasteland effect.
I figured fuel will disappear or simply 'go off' so they will need to rely on another power source. Thanks for watching
What a great build, absolutely lovely.😊

Awesome build 😊

Stunning!

I really enjoyed this build and liked how you put it all together.

Pretty cool. I especially like the use of the Stalker models. Perhaps you could do a Stalker inspired scene?
Stalkers are very cool and fits in perfectly of what I like building

Very nicely done.
LOL. You should check out my build of Batman On The Batsignal. It's like the 2nd and 3rd build videos I did. Thanks for watching

Did I add enough weathering to the vehicle? What are your thoughts about the final result?
really impressive!
I think you balanced the weathering just right. The final result was really cool. I can't decide which I'd prefer: guys with rifles and spotlights on that defensive platform, or mounted turrets with spotlights.
@@evolutionxstudios Thanks buddy.
@@och70 I like the idea of turrets. Will have to keep that in mind.
The interior floor could have used a bit more tracked in dirt.
Really cool.

Really great idea and execution, im trully impressed. For more post-apo vibes i would add A LOT more weathering,,, I mean, A LOT :) Good work man!

Perhaps a bit more mud, grim on those tracks, steps and inside.. great build..
Mud did cross my mind but I was thinking it was more of a drier planet. I do need to do a 'muddy' diorama one day. Thanks for watching
G'day amazing build mate
Thanks
Have you considered using a few drops of UV resin to create a lens for the spotlights?
I've done that on previous builds and I did that at first on this one but it all went south. So, I ended up just doing the gloss. I think a got a bit enthusiastic and put too much clear resin on the lens. Thanks for watching

Awesome diorama. Where did you find those wall sections for your modular mold?
Thingiverse and then modified them to suit my needs
Did you print your tracks in sections? They really came out well. I love the video.
Nah, painted, drybrushed and weathered the whole lot. Thanks for watching

sorry, but why put the perspex/glass in ,,then mask it up for spraying, ,,,just put it in later, !??
Nice job... I was just thinking if something to emulate screw heads would be nice to put over that "container sheets" covering the side windows... And some dark blue wash on solar panels
I was going to use the bolts I had printed up but they looked way too big for the corrugated sheets
Wonderful work! Great idea to convert the streetcar into a tracked vehicle. And weathering is enough, I would have just expected perhaps more damage to the car body considering its age. Maybe some cracked windows too.
At one stage I was going to remove a couple of the windows and have them 'boarded' up but I got sidetracked with other ideas. Thank for watching
