@@gameyybuilds I'm looking forward to the book. Are all these stories going to lead somewhere in the book, or these stories adding lore to the characters in it?
I think what i love the most is how many environments i can easily picture this structure in. An arid wasteland, a beach at the end of the world, or an orbital space station. Well done.
A wonderfully unsettling ending. Things never seem to go well for folks on stations in this universe. Or, well, anyone, but still. Magnificent as ever!
A tip for 3d printing! Pull the supports off before curing, models are less brittle in that stage and so you have a lot less clean-up and are less likely to have models snap or break.
Now, THAT was quite a twist to the story! Once more, your modeling skills are more than a match for your imagination! Thanks for sharing this with us! 742nd Like.
To be fair, I still use a lot of superglue, since I find it to stick faster and stronger than Weld-on. It's also much easier to apply (just grab the bottle and squeeze) and less toxic. I use Weld-on now on seams that will show in the final product.
@@gameyybuilds I teach 8-12 grade art. I started at the school I am at about 5 years ago now. Before that the students hadn't had art (as a class) for at least the previous six years and never at the middle and elementary levels (small school district). I am closing in on nearly 25 years in the education field.
Your story telling has morphed into a masterful talent. And has a distinct Futuristic Noir flavor to it, much like Blade Runner or countless Japanese manga stories I love to read. When your book comes out I will most certainly be buying a copy for myself. When you first started out, your stories were always excellent but now you have become a master at it, especially when combined with your 3 dimensional illustrations! Almost a advancement of the artform of Manga, into a full realistic, scale version of the 2D images from the books so popular in Japan. As Always Mr. Gamey Builds Your work is worth the wait the only thing is that the stories are far too short, here and gone before you know it, like the memory of the Captain, in this short story. And the experience is gone, like teardrops in the rain.
That's a really cool way of looking at these stories; as 3D illustrations from a manga comic! Never thought about my work that way before, thank you so much!
Ooooo man, now I wanna listen to the whole audiobook….amazing story, so entertaining and full of fun sci fi mystery 🤘🏻 awesome job on the story and of course the build
Absolutely fantastic… every concept, every story, every build. Know that there is now seven of us that get together at my place every Monday morning in Brisbane Australia before work to watch the latest from beyond the blight. I’m the only one who actually builds models and paints minis all the others just love to watch the build and listen to the short stories, admittedly they’re all Sci-fi fans but you should be extremely proud of yourself and what you’ve accomplished in being able to reach across the void entertaining welders and steel fixers (hard lads one and all) to what has become the highlight of our week, Bonza mate and we’ll be here again hangin out waiting for your next episode. Davey Nono and the boys over and out…
I hope to hear more about this character and this stellar location in comparison to Aegis. Does the blight somehow affect ships and stations? Are the defective sleep pods intentional? A corporate conspiracy perhaps? And is there some relationship between the station that spaced it's scientist?
Try to soak the prints in hot water after the initial wash, before curing. It'll allow the supports to almost release from the model by themselves. Then cure after they're removed. It'll leave much less support scarring and material to be sanded.
YES, this is very important! I realized that after the first set of prints. It's much easier to remove supports before the curing process. Live and learn. Thanks!
That was the most chilling story yet dude, made me question everything as much as the protagonist. Who is he? Is the bot scheeming? Is he captain? Fr the best one yet. You really have a knack for coming up with great realizations that only lead to more questions that tingle my brain in a certain way. Can't wait for more, truly a highlight of the month.
Very nice build just wanted to add that development on the m41 only started in 1947 so "From Cold War tank to sci-fi pub" would be a more accurate title
Right and wrong. I think the description of it being "uphill" is incorrect, because it would feel like walking on flat ground all the way around. However, depending on available lighting, he would have noticed the ground curving upwards, which may have tricked him into thinking he was walking uphill. I suppose we'll just have to assume that he's still suffering a heavy mental fog from the faulty pods...
I for one, can *NOT* wait for the whole story to be published!!! Definitely want to get a copy for myself.
Always a good Sunday when its story time with Gameyy Builds
Thanks for joining the premiere!
Every...single...build. Every single one turns out amazing! I cannot wait for the novel!
That was one of the coolest stories yet
Thanks!

Well done man. Can't wait for the novel to come out!
Thanks so much, and thanks for supporting me on Patreon!

Glad to have sparked your imagination!

Once again, it's an awesome build and an amazing story. Patiently waiting for the novel.
Thanks for your patience! It's hard to find the time to write with these projects constantly in the works.
Great, great, GREAT build Gameyy! As always!
Such a great build. And the story gave me goosebumps!!❤❤
I like this new trend of the story section getting longer. As a story goblin my self it pleases my goblin brain
Such a good story and cool build!
So creepy! 😊
Loved the story, amazing work!!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah, I discovered this after the first set of prints!
Noone has ever built the actual Walker Bulldog out of that kit. Amazing stuff.

Yas, Weld-On forever!
Nothing causes me more pain than kitbashers using superglue on polystyrene. Good job man.

You have inspired me to build a mech for when we play Salvage Union. Once Christmas is over I'm hoping to start your patreon too!
Glad you’ve been inspired! Have fun!
Thanks, I love your amazing art and stories! It is very relaxing
Thanks so much for watching!
I really enjoy your worldbuilding and stories. You are very creative. If only I could inspire my students to be creative like this!
What do you teach? I teach creative writing and art to young (elementary level) students. It's such a fulfilling job!

Thanks Davey! That's incredibly kind of you to say - I'm glad you and the lads are enjoying the videos!
What a great build and story.
Bro! that Dremel saw blade had me wincing. Glad you still have all your hand worms. Great work, keep them coming.
What a fascinating concept, and incredible execution

Great stuff man!
Appreciate it!
Random suggestion from the feed but so happy it was there. Instasub right away after watching this. Great stuff!

I know you are writing a book and I am looking forward to purchasing and reading but I will be danged if I don't see this as an animated series!
Great concept. Great diorama. Great story. Video, as usual, was well worth the watch. Disappointed you don’t have more followers.
Yes, you posted😄🥹
Probably my fav youtube notification to get
Nice
whats the first music track during the concept art? sounded like django reinhart jazz, twas nice
Okay, im going to be "that giy for a second":
The m41 Walker Bulldog wasn't a ww2 tank. It was mostly used in Vietnam. The project is still fantastic
Thanks for the correction!
I don't think you would feel a slope when walking in a spacestation like that unless it's broken
There is a slope, its just that its never ending and you don't actually go up or down.. Just around in a circle..

👍😎
Can’t wait to have this book in my hands
Edit: would also be amazing to have an eBook version, even if it costs the same 🫶
Yep, I'll release printed hardcovers, softcovers, an audiobook, and an eBook.
