I didn’t realize until now, but this kid really had a disconnect from others. When he first showed his friend what he could do when he shot the crow, he wasn’t concerned with how he really felt. He just wanted to show off what he thought was cool and didn’t even really gauge his friend’s reaction. Just like when he invaded that home and was only interested that the girl read One Piece, just because it was his favorite.
There's more to the show, remember the old man is the protagonist, so he has more screen time than Hiro, you follow his actions he's taking while seeing what Hiro is now doing even though they both are in the same boat. One chose to help others, to be a good person, while the other used his powers selfishly and killed people for fun, and to see how he'd feel from it. The show explores this dynamic of what each person does. There's also reasons for some parts that isn't covered in the video. Granted Hiro is a villain for most of the show, only having a few moments where he does actually help people. So to be fair this is like watching Cj's video on say Buu or Dio, or some of the other characters and thinking they're the protagonist, Hiro is the main villain, Mr. Inuyashiki is the hero of the show, the one who saves people. His life was quite frankly sh*t before the incident that changed him and Hiro into cyborgs. His family didn't respect and barely thought about him, and he had cancer, he was dying, but he didn't even really share that information with his family because he figured they wouldn't care, and it scared him. The show is pretty good, that said Hiro's actions are mostly just violence just because but again he's the villain and a sociopath so understanding him is not really possible. Also the anime does use CGI often because of the whole, needing to fly around bits, or even certain other scenes. The show isn't perfect by any stretch, it has issues, but I do think it's pretty good.
That feelings is what you're supposed to get from the antagonist. The protagonist, who spent the whole series being a superhero, having no clue where tf to find this guy, is a contrast to this guy. Inuyashiki (the old man) is a good man that has a rough life (family and work disrespect the man), while Shishigami is a young handsome man that has a mom that loves him. Power shows who you really are, that's the show's theme. CJ's correct, recommended.
So you're watching all of the worst things he does in a concentrated format, but this is an AMAZING anime, the protagonists is the sweetest old man who is doing a bunch of good while Hiro is doing all of this, it balances out really well
"Who would like something like this" lmao i got 6 mins into CJ's video on this, paused it, marathonned the whole show then came back to finish it. Hiro is GOATED lmao
Please, don't judge the anime just by watching the villain. First, the protagonist is one of the greatest I've seen in my life. He is the definition of the word "hero". Secondly, this anime has so many life teaching moments, it's mind blowing. - Manichaeism - Dehumanisation and Indifference - Superficiality and materialism - No mobile-phone phobia - Cyber harassment - Police brutality - School violence - Gun violence - Sexual violence - Ostracism - Injustice of the social hierarchy Watching Last Hero Inuyashiki, I was moved, I cried, I was scared and I've learned a lot. It's a must-watch.
Hey the scene of son drowning in tub is unforgettable but Everytime this show comes to my mind I instantly remember the Yakuza in the sauna that shit disturbed TF out of me
Skitten with how easily emotional she gets sometimes would easily cry for days over the ending. She'd look like one of the characters that are crying at the end of the show.😂
Even though we never get an explanation to *why* Hiro starts killing people outside of *"he wants to"* , if I had to take a guess it because he's *lashing out* His parents are split up with his mom being miserable and his dad having a whole other family, seemingly being completely content with moving on. So it makes sense that, given that he's obviously got psychopathic tendencies on top of that, he felt genuine resentment for these families for having a life he didn't. Hell, same with the two kids. His best friend literally just cut all ties with him earlier that day and then he sees these 2 kids, who are obviously friends and, again, he lashes out. That's just *my* interpretation tho
If I remember correctly it's mainly about our MC the old man trying to make the world a better place by helping as many people as possible, all this stuff is just on the side.
It's important to recognize that CJ only covered our antagonist. The old man who beat his ass was the actual protagonist and possessed the exact same abilities as Hiro. However his half of the show was about the good things he could do.
This is not the whole show, this is hyper-focused on a single character, the antagonist no less. The protagonist is the exact opposite. When it comes to Hiro, throughout the early episodes you begin to see signs that he is a clinical psychopath. We throw the term around, but there’s a rare few w/ the trait. He has no feelings towards anyone other than the people close to him. He legit didn’t see himself as doing anything “wrong” until the end. Life didn’t matter, manga characters were better than real people, etc. He’s a horrible person, but he didn’t know he was a horrible person because his brain was broke. He also really wasn’t looking for redeeming qualities at the end. He tried to stop that asteroid to save his girl & his best friend ONLY. Everyone else could’ve died & he would’ve lost 0 sleep. The thing that makes the anime “interesting” is the juxtaposition between him & the old man. It’s essentially “let’s give a school shooter & Walter White from Breaking Bad (before the meth) both harmful & helpful powers, and watch what happens” the anime/character study. The old man was as good as Hiro was evil. I could not have watched this if the story was just Hiro’s actions… and the aliens only had weapons units available. One of them legit said “if we do this, it’ll destroy the planet” but the captain was like “not my problem, we need to get out of here now”.
The contrast between our two main characters. Inuyashiki was old and dying, his estranged materialistic family who had to move back in with him hated him (the daughter lightened up though) and he basically had nothing to live for. But when he got his powers he did all he could to help people Hiro had a lot of things. Loving mother, a best friend and eventually a girlfriend, but he was mentally deranged and always wanted to just kill.
I remember one day a number of years ago I came across a clip of this anime on Tumblr (was a great place, rest peacefully sweet summer child 😢) and it had me interested in the show UNTIL I saw a couple of the responses to the show itself in the thread, this lead me to youtube to research the show and when I say I was scared maaaaaan. I had to go watch Rugrats to clear my head lol. This is the closest I'll ever get to watching the madness.
Ngl, I'm quite surprised by y'all's reaction. I just watched one of Skitten's scp reactions vid yesterday and she was siding with the questionable scp lol. Chavez literally said that "sad duck" joke which was pretty dark 😅. As others pointed out, this is not what the show is in it's entirety. Just one side of the coin. Hope all is good with y'all 🙏🏽💪🏽.
It's definitely like that but this is just the side plot, the main plot is you watching the old man deal with his daily life task with the new super power he got. That why you don't see the old man stop him in 80% runtime of the show, he really didn't know the serial killer exist and afraid that he's not strong enough to fight him.
So, Inuyashiki was written by Hiroya, the same dude that made Gantz. Gantz is by far his most famous work, but it's also, in my opinion, complete dogshit while Inuyashiki is peak. What you saw here barely covers half of the story, because the story is split between Hiro Shishigami, the villain, and Inuyashiki, the hero. They have a similar circumstance, but the powers they were given just intensified their respective characters. It's like how the Super Soldier serum was described in the MCU. The power it grants doesn't necessarily change you, it just amplifies what was already there. A good man will become great, and a bad man will become terrible. Inuyashiki was an old man with a young family, and he felt neglected and overlooked in his own home. Despite this, he just wanted to feel like he was helpful to others, and becoming a cyborg let him perform heroic deeds. Shishigami was a pychopath who used his home life as an excuse to think that inflicting suffering was justified, because he could at least feel a rush when it was happening. It was only in the end, when he was confronted by Inuyashiki who refused to kill anyone despite his circumstances, that Hiro finally realized that he was just crazy and took a real look at the monster he'd become.
The Super Soldier Serum actually amplifies everything in Cap, his strength, speed, intellect, as well as his moral compass and personality. The cyborg powers does not amplify anything about Inuyashiki or Shishigami's personality. It just gives them the power to do what they've always wanted to do. Shishigami didn't use his home life as an excuse. He never thought his killings were justified. He did it because it was the only thing that made him feel human after he became a robot. And since he was a pschopath who was incapable of understanding other people's emotions, he didn't have any moral reasons not to kill.
Honestly, the best way of thinking about what the Anime is trying to say is that there is a difference between being harmless/weak and actually being a good person because of the difference in the paths the antagonist and protagonist took.
they kinda showed the ATM thing in the show Heroes from 2006. The little kid Micah, had the power to communicate with and control electronic devices. there's even a scene where he's staying with an Aunt and he hides behind the TV and just touches it, so that his cousin can get a free PVV of wrestling. Naturally if you don't have cable you either get a static/snowy image or one of those distorted wavy type images right??? But My Dude Micah just placed his hand on the back of the TV and unscrambled that shit in seconds. later on he ends up being able to manipulate the text on an ATM in order to help out a woman that looks like his mom. All while simply holding a Blackberry. Boy was using that Wi-Fi to his advantage.
The why for the suburban families was because he come from a broken home. His parents are split up and he hated seeing other families happy. The only reason he offed the two kids that ran by was because they were best friends and his just broke up with him. The incidents after those are pretty straightforward cause he retaliated after things happened to people he loved.
@ChavezzSlovakia Remember the RUclips video was just focusing on Hiro and what he did in the series. Where there is just as much good happening in the show following the old man who is the main character(been a while since I've seen this show, so I don't remember his name). Hiroya Oku(the creator) delves deep into the worst of humanity, while showing the best in humanity in contrast through out his works. So in this series you get just as much of good moments of saving lives with the main character who has just as much, even more since the old man is the main character. If you want a more in depth review, I'd just watch a review on youtube. Guarantee most of the people will recommend it. 31:38 I left a comment on CJ’s video in this case, but more so - depends on the plane 😅 Widebody planes can vary from 300 to 600 passengers (again, on the size/variation of the plane) soooo that total could be from 1,900 to 3,200 people *dropped* from the sky.. i.e. the longest 747 could board 600+ passengers so that’s enough *damage* as is 🫠 The A380 is chunky boii as well

Honestly this is one of those weird as hell but strangely mesmerizing animes. I mean, small example, all that shooting, you have to put that in the context of the dude is literally doing the finger bang thing people do when they are kids. There isn't a sound of a bullet going off, he's just saying, "bang" and ppl are dying. It's absurdly silly but the effects are horrific. Plus, yes, wider introspection of 2 extremes of what happened when ppl get ultimate power. The protag is the polar opposite with his actions. All in all it's up there with Gantz in the wtf is going on.
Her complaint about the hero not decapitating the villain is hilarious, she clearly doesn’t know how writing a story works or finishing a character’s arc.
IIRC the aliens made them motherfucking world ending terminators because they knew a meteor capable of destroying Earth was coming and they basically wanted the 2 characters to be able to save the planet
Edward Newgate (White Beard) and Marshall D Teach (Black Beard) Can't remember if this was Oda's reasoning but there was some controversy over what the real Black Beard's name was between Edward Thatch and Edward Teach which was settlef with Edward Teach being the real name. In One Piece Teach killed Thatch to get the dark dark fruit and then stole his other power from Edward granting him the title of Emperor of the Sea

Brother** but yo they gotta peep Philly's vids🤣
@@junglekxngtalksanime see, i wasn't completely sure if they were siblings so i didn't mention it, but thanks for confirming it. I think i said it under one of the Olawooloo vids because they Said he's the horniest RUclipsr they've watched and ik Philly be in his bag LMAO
The anime is actually more than just Hiro and his crimes. It’s actually really good
Love the Gantz posters in Ando's room. We need a full series of that manga.
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS !!!!!!!
Yes
- Manichaeism
- Dehumanisation and Indifference
- Superficiality and materialism
- No mobile-phone phobia
- Cyber harassment
- Police brutality
- School violence
- Gun violence
- Sexual violence
- Ostracism
- Injustice of the social hierarchy
Watching Last Hero Inuyashiki, I was moved, I cried, I was scared and I've learned a lot. It's a must-watch.
Hey the scene of son drowning in tub is unforgettable but Everytime this show comes to my mind I instantly remember the Yakuza in the sauna that shit disturbed TF out of me
It’s an amazing anime I know it’s really dark but remember he ain’t the protagonist
Skitten with how easily emotional she gets sometimes would easily cry for days over the ending. She'd look like one of the characters that are crying at the end of the show.😂
So for context on why their terminators. The aliens that ran them over only had combat bots so that's what they used
Even though we never get an explanation to *why* Hiro starts killing people outside of *"he wants to"* , if I had to take a guess it because he's *lashing out*
His parents are split up with his mom being miserable and his dad having a whole other family, seemingly being completely content with moving on.
If I remember correctly it's mainly about our MC the old man trying to make the world a better place by helping as many people as possible, all this stuff is just on the side.
he ain't the main character bruhs, dude the main villain.
It's important to recognize that CJ only covered our antagonist. The old man who beat his ass was the actual protagonist and possessed the exact same abilities as Hiro. However his half of the show was about the good things he could do.
Reminder that you only got half the story & must see the protagonist side too. It actually is an interesting watch.
0:23 "bong bong bong bong" had me dying 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But when he got his powers he did all he could to help people
Hiro had a lot of things. Loving mother, a best friend and eventually a girlfriend, but he was mentally deranged and always wanted to just kill.
“What’s the correlation between pornhub n Popeyes”
Hahaha just look up Popeyes girl
Well… bad news guys, there’s another installment. And this time it’s Light from Death Note.
Oh God, Inuyashiki, never thought I'd hear that name again. For a 12ep show, that shit was crazy. It doesn't need a second season at all.
I was waiting for this reaction 😂
I remember one day a number of years ago I came across a clip of this anime on Tumblr (was a great place, rest peacefully sweet summer child 😢) and it had me interested in the show UNTIL I saw a couple of the responses to the show itself in the thread, this lead me to youtube to research the show and when I say I was scared maaaaaan. I had to go watch Rugrats to clear my head lol. This is the closest I'll ever get to watching the madness.
Man! I remember this anime over 7 years ago and it is mess up, but worth it!
I watched this anime almost 2 years ago, and I tell ya, this is some crazy shit. It's a good anime to watch. W vid 💯
Whats the name of the video.
@@DominantBtch what video?
Great reaction and great anime. Love your content.😊
It's definitely like that but this is just the side plot, the main plot is you watching the old man deal with his daily life task with the new super power he got.
That why you don't see the old man stop him in 80% runtime of the show, he really didn't know the serial killer exist and afraid that he's not strong enough to fight him.
22:27, for the record, this isn't CJ doing the voice of Lolicon445, it's PhillyonMars. BTW, they do a lot of collabs together on Philly's channel
That knock scared the fuck outta me
Very few people know about this anime/manga, Hiro is a really well written character antagonist
His character development was amazing
4:18 never thought about it until you questioned it, but he probably showed him thinking it was cool.
they kinda showed the ATM thing in the show Heroes from 2006.
He does genuinely ask her what's her favorite one piece character, she says Zoro then he shoots her
this guy so cold and careless about all life he absolutely does not deserve heaven or hell
The why for the suburban families was because he come from a broken home. His parents are split up and he hated seeing other families happy. The only reason he offed the two kids that ran by was because they were best friends and his just broke up with him. The incidents after those are pretty straightforward cause he retaliated after things happened to people he loved.
She said attack on Titan till she saw the start and realized she was not prepped for this one😂😂
Also y'all saw the worst of it in this RUclips video, so all that you haven't seen of the show is the good feels parts.
Is it bad that i know exactly what video hes referencing with the popeyes thing...u innocent children
I was waiting for this reaction
22:23 Chavez that ain't CJ going in that's PhillyOnMars and if you thought Olawoolo was out of pocket Phily is on a whole different level of horny and out of pocket
The stories of this man have me worried!
@@Chavezzslovakia Late to this, but you should watch his Prison School or High School of the Dead videos as a beginning for you and Skitten
Hiro’s a near soulless piece of shit but Inuyashiki is such a good series. I also really recommend it
18:50-19:10 first pickle seasoning on popcorn and now this …I’m not sure if I should be intrigued or scared 😂
Madara: declare's.war : drops two meteors
Hiro: declare's war : drops 6 airplanes
The first half of Hiro’s character arc is, like I said before, Columbine.
The second half is “this guy was dangerous enough _without_ a reason; WHY DID YOU _GIVE_ HIM ONE!?”
Brah that fuckin knock came thru my head phones so realistically, i had to triple back to make sure i wasn't trippin
if i remember correctly, it's one episode of the main character (the old dude) and then one episode of the antagonist (hiro) i swear it's not just like that, it's just that the old dude never make it in time properly.
Mr.Inuyashiki the protagonist he go around helping people with his new found power so that why he not around when Hiro un-alive all those people, keep in mind he may have super power but still just old man and all this incident happend in short time period
Chavez you are my favorite RUclips
Imagine one day someone come up to you and ask what is your favorite manga were your life depends on it.....
21:24 😂Daaaaaaang it’s like that! Ol’girl got comment section on sight 👈🏽😂😂😂
That last scene in the city square....the setting looks A LOT like the beginning of Alice in Borderland. The "downtown" where shit pops off.
Is it so bad that I know what anime Chavezz is talking about when he said "human blender"?
Hello Chavez Slovakia and skotten says this is my first time commenting on one of y'all's videos and I would like to say that this anime is for me. They made this anime for me 😂😂😂😂😂
Skitten:who was watching this and enjoying it?
Me:😅
Definitely me as well
To answer Chavez questions about what anime I have seen that I would die in: @12:02 the background poster reminded me that I die in the anime Gantz. You get Isekai into a no win situation.
The fact bro thought the authorities were just gonna let that all slide... 💀💀💀😂💀💀💀
31:38 I left a comment on CJ’s video in this case, but more so - depends on the plane 😅
Widebody planes can vary from 300 to 600 passengers (again, on the size/variation of the plane) soooo that total could be from 1,900 to 3,200 people *dropped* from the sky..
i.e. the longest 747 could board 600+ passengers so that’s enough *damage* as is 🫠
The A380 is chunky boii as well
That Popeye's reference is legendary 😭😭😭
I am laughing at how the bangs sound like trippie redd
Lol she missed Usopp’s name
5:45 I hate that I know this but that frame of a woman in a Popeyes uniform is from a hub video
"No Russian!!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yo! I played that scene TWICE. First I just walked through and only used self defense with airport security. And the second time I just let loose. NO ONE was safe.
5:42 I promise you its just a normal scene, the actress just happened to be in uniform
The vid is just widely known cause we all have seen it at some point in our life 💀
AYEE CHAVEZZ 9 years later, see u been well my guy
Honestly this is one of those weird as hell but strangely mesmerizing animes. I mean, small example, all that shooting, you have to put that in the context of the dude is literally doing the finger bang thing people do when they are kids. There isn't a sound of a bullet going off, he's just saying, "bang" and ppl are dying. It's absurdly silly but the effects are horrific. Plus, yes, wider introspection of 2 extremes of what happened when ppl get ultimate power. The protag is the polar opposite with his actions. All in all it's up there with Gantz in the wtf is going on.
Her complaint about the hero not decapitating the villain is hilarious, she clearly doesn’t know how writing a story works or finishing a character’s arc.
what are you talking about
Least we know chavez is pure (or good at hiding it)
IIRC the aliens made them motherfucking world ending terminators because they knew a meteor capable of destroying Earth was coming and they basically wanted the 2 characters to be able to save the planet
I didn't see this anime before but I checked out this video for the first time on a vr headset.
Giving me more detail than I bargained for. 😶
Edward Newgate (White Beard) and Marshall D Teach (Black Beard)
Can't remember if this was Oda's reasoning but there was some controversy over what the real Black Beard's name was between Edward Thatch and Edward Teach which was settlef with Edward Teach being the real name. In One Piece Teach killed Thatch to get the dark dark fruit and then stole his other power from Edward granting him the title of Emperor of the Sea
I remember reading Inuyashiki and seeing this for the first time. Omg.
There is more to the show, though lol. The old man is the actual main character.
I think it was Blood-C that had the human blender, with the big ass bunny monsters
A true " Gun to ya head" -rabsopetty 9:39
