I want Sorted to have a picnic competition. All the normals should have to treat their SO to a picnic prepared by them but it’s also a competition between them to see who can do it best. The chefs can just make a basket for each other
me, a vegan, seeing this has been uploaded: ah yes a perfect video for me jokes aside, love seeing the battles return in a fashion! The "normals" have come so far it's unreal, good job boys!
Sometimes I switch the ingredients to make it vegan. The dish Donner Kebab that Jamie made with the fries is similar to a Dutch Kapsalon. I used to love it when I ate everything but now I just make it at home and change the lamb for oystermushrooms or vegan mince and use vegan cheese that melts. Some places do it vegan here in the Netherlands but it is incredibly expensive.

For really special lamb dishes I couldn't recommend mansaf any higher. It is the national dish of Jordan 🇯🇴 it is tender lamb cooked in yoghurt sauce and it's served with rice or bulgur wheat. It has Bedouin origins but it is so delicious it is eaten for celebrations across Jordan and Palestine. I grew up loving mansaf and would love it if you guys had a look at how it's made and maybe give it a try! 💖💖💖
I got SO happy when I saw Jamie stacking up the lamb with the apple on top. I know different cultures have similar dishes, but here in Mexico that's pretty much how we prepare trompo/al pastor tacos (with the exception being a pineapple instead of the apple and onions in between layers of meat, and you can add pork too). For the "spiciness" missing you might want to consider something citrusy instead (like orange/lime juice) to bring out all the flavors without the meat becoming to hot. Overall I think this was (accidentally) a great fusion dish, since in my state we use (very well cooked not only heated on one side) flour tortilla to eat it with, and it's most people's favorite. Tried to read most of the comments to make sure I'm not being repetitive, sorry if someone already said this and I didn't notice. I've been following you guys for so many years but just now worked up the courage to write down a comment, hope I would had answered right away.
While I thought both looked awesome, I thought Mike had a more balanced meal and, while not ambitious, it was still gutsy to do something in the more traditional way.
Jamie needed this win after how his other battles were treated. I'm also fine with him winning after Mike Donated him time because if you think about all the time Jamie used to stand around and explain what he was doing (nonactive time?) then it probably would have evened out.
another recipe I liked was Lamb necks, grilled peppers, tomato-cucumber-parslay-feta salad, Dill-mint jogurt, Hummus, baba ganoush but make the skin into c(h/r)ips later for garnish, alot of chili flakes, pommegrande and sesame also for garnish.
Just forwarded this to my “twin brother from another mother.” We were both raised in Massachusetts therefore we both grew up eating lamb. There is no mint jelly on either Mike or Spaf’s tables, but both dishes look amazing. Yum!

I LOVE THIS FORMAT! One chef eats and critiques it separately that’s amazing guys! Just when I thought the show couldn’t get any better.. xD Much love from Texas for the SORTED crew! Seriously loved how the regular’ and chef ate separate from the actual cooks they are judging that made the dish.. it is an good formatting idea!
A group of English Lads who have a video about Kebab. Secretly hoping there’s drink involved before the Kebab is consumed lol
I want Sorted to have a picnic competition. All the normals should have to treat their SO to a picnic prepared by them but it’s also a competition between them to see who can do it best. The chefs can just make a basket for each other
me, a vegan, seeing this has been uploaded: ah yes a perfect video for me
jokes aside, love seeing the battles return in a fashion! The "normals" have come so far it's unreal, good job boys!
I am the same...the rare times they do a vegan dish is like Christmas for me...but I watch every episode nonetheless.
@@Sedna7 same!
Barry listening to Ben looks like me trying to convince my maths teacher I’m paying attention
Knowing the ingredients and how the dishes were cooked, I kinda smell or taste the dishes through the screen 👁️👄👁️
Maybe I miss eating kebab
👁️💧👄💧👁️
I remember seing Barry and Ben for the 1st time in a Sidemen video but only ended up on this channel this week and been binge-watching your videos ever since! Keep up the great work! It’s inspiring me to cook more :) Greetings from France!
Lamb is probably my favorite meat, I'm drooling! 🤤😋😅
No interruptions! Thank you!
This episode had made me dribble all over my laptop..🤤🤤🤤
I love that those kebab grills were not at all what they ever expected. It is way more useful than they thought it would be.
Sir Meat deserved his win!
Just had dinner, now I'm hungry again! Great work guys and when Jamie wins the Sundays get even better :)
James putting meet on the spinning thing and calling it kebabs hurts me 😂 you made shawarma my dude
Are you sure? Every döner kebab shop where I live does it exactly like Jamie did...
@@gemeroperiddle9462 man seems to not realise shawarma is the name for a type of kebab
For reallll 😭
@@Parkesview no it's not 🤔
I'm middle eastern i never heard someone say that shawarma is a type of kebabs
@@Why-zl4mf After some quick googling, I found out that not all kebab is shawarma, but shawarma is a type of döner kebab, apparently. Here's an article on it. note point 5 and 6 especially: recipes.timesofindia.com/articles/features/whats-the-difference-between-kebab-and-shawarma/photostory/63530670.cms?picid=63530681
A donner hoagie? That's its' name.
i love that they look for sponsors to fit the video idea rather than the other way around
yes, yes, yes! I've heard Jamie's and I'm all onboard from the get go!
Great job guys - link those kebab machines in the description im sure tons of people were like I need one!!!
Thumbs up.
I’m not really a huge lamb fan, nothing against it or anything it’s just not one of my go to proteins,... but now I really want some lamb 😫😂
I have tried lamb and not enjoyed it so-o-o many times and yet... this tempts me.
Jamie's face when he wins is so wholesome.
Yeah precious
Sorted Food is always making great content. I look forward to the new videos on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s!
Jamie has come SO far from when you guys first started. Putting that together in an hour is pretty bang on. Well deserved win!
I know what to make my friends now thanks guys! Good recipe both.
You know Mike still hasn’t done a Language battle 🤔🤔🤔 Maybe Ben and Mike can do Vietnamese since they went to Vietnam together hehehe
Great video as always, my favourite use of lamb is a lamb mince spagbol, the lamb has a really nice oilyness that leaves a great feel in your mouth.
While I thought both looked awesome, I thought Mike had a more balanced meal and, while not ambitious, it was still gutsy to do something in the more traditional way.
Mike's Pinocchio motion... 😂 😂 😂 In today's video (6/15/22) y'all reviewed a kabob form maker... Woulda been handy today! 😂
Jamie needed this win after how his other battles were treated. I'm also fine with him winning after Mike Donated him time because if you think about all the time Jamie used to stand around and explain what he was doing (nonactive time?) then it probably would have evened out.
Loving the ultimate battles being back
Barry looks so bored when Ben is talking 🤔
another recipe I liked was Lamb necks, grilled peppers, tomato-cucumber-parslay-feta salad, Dill-mint jogurt, Hummus, baba ganoush but make the skin into c(h/r)ips later for garnish, alot of chili flakes, pommegrande and sesame also for garnish.
Note for Mike, its pronounced "Jajeeki" J as in Janice . Keep the greek recipes coming, great stuff :)
Just forwarded this to my “twin brother from another mother.” We were both raised in Massachusetts therefore we both grew up eating lamb. There is no mint jelly on either Mike or Spaf’s tables, but both dishes look amazing. Yum!
