@@whitneyhontz5354 You should wait a couple of months unless you are using semi-permanent color or henna. Semi-permanent colors only deposit color they don't penetrate the cuticle. Henna is from a plant it's not a chemical but don't use a permanent color or you'll have hair loss immediately. Remember Henna can be drying I use Bigen Oriental Black.
I used to use this like 30 years ago and it was an amazing product, my hair was never over processed. Curls were always perfect, don't sleep on this s curl product. Back in the day everyone used this in my hood.
Awesomeness! My mother is an old school hairdresser and we used this video after my big chop of 3 years locs. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this beautiful video! Got me out here looking fresh with these curls! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I keep seeing people doing these gherri curl (wet look) curls we did in early 80's. I love the look but not the glycerin wet messy sprays you have to leave in to keep your processed hair from falling from breaking the bonds in your natural curl. This is so tempting and cute though!
I'm not having any problem with mine. For a matter of fact, i have to clip my ends twice a month to keep my hair short how I like it because my hair is growing like crazy. Hope this helps and thanks for commenting.😀👍
I'm with you like it love the shine but I font want the wetness/grease useful give me spots back in the day with the grease ofg my pillow. Any idea of a shiny dry product?
The jerri curl was a different process if i recall. It was more of a perm vs these relaxer formulas...cant recall the exact details, but i feel like a jerri curl essentially took uour hair through 2 processes. 1. Straightening it 2. Setting permanent curls (like a white person's perm) So bc of all the chemical processing it needed a lot of product and it was juicy and sticky to the touch. With a texturizer there are lots of products besides the s curl ones that can be used
No worries. The curl restorer in my opinion should be used at the end because it locks and seal everything in. FYI: that was before they discontinued it, they have a new restorer out now. I can't use that one. Hope this helps. 🙂👍
@@itsreginatvAlso, can you please list the products that you used in the comments? I'm going to the store right now. But I'm trying to screenshot at every clip lol
Thank you for this! I’m looking at other options for my hair. I was using wave nouveau but it’s been discontinued smh so I need a back up plan when I run out lol
Beautiful❤🎉. How long does this product last because 1 person told me that they only use this for special occasions because it comes out fast like when you sweat in your hair.
Sweat will not make a texturizer come off of your hair; it is a chemical process. I have went as long as 7 months before touching up my roots. Hope this helps. 🙂
Question: what about for someone with very long (mid-back) virgin hair? I don’t think I should start at the root - maybe mid-lengths? So nervous to try this - please help!
Great question 👍. Fortunately I have already answered your question in a Q & A video on where to start when texturizing long hair; and also that video will address other questions that you probably really need to know before applying,.👍🙂🙏
Thank you for your video im a new sub. And have been seriously thinking about doing this ive been natural for over 10 yrs and now im tired i know i don't want a perm butt i do also get braids or wear wings and sew-ins you did an Awesome job

You should do a funding, just so we could have access to send you money and appreciation stuff like that. I watch a lot of channels that does that I don't know much about it. But I would definitely share with you.
Trial & Error. You would have to test that out. For me I would do a hot oil treatment the apply a moisturizing wig cap and then apply my lace front. Hope this helps. Let me know how it works out for you.
In my opinion I don't see why not. I made a video on how to apply a texturizer on longer hair. Go and look at the other videos on texturing that I made so that you will be fully informed on the pros and cons of a texturizer before applying. Good luck on your hair journey.
Hello. No the hair is no longer natural after using this product it is now texturized hair. Because of the moisturizing products i use my hair does not dry up. I hope this information helps you and thanks for sharing.🙂👍
