I have the same thinner spots in my hairline on my forehead. I have a thinner crown which is harder to style. It doesn't bother me too much at age 42. I don't have the energy or the mental capacity to style my hair like this but it's nice to watch other people do it and live vicariously through them.
Oh wow, I’m turning 42 as well. I used to have thinning in the crown when I was relaxed and it was a trouble spot for me- severe itching and breaking off. It’s thickened up since I’ve been natural. But that area is definitely a different texture from the rest of my hair. It also gets really dry
😍 Beautiful as always! This video is right on time! I’ve been wanting to try The Doux products, plus my barber just freshened up my tapered cut yesterday. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
I just watched someone who did a tutorial using some $30 6oz gel, sis needs to come over here because your hair is everything. I love it. I see this gel in the stores, maybe I'll check it out.
Thank you so much. Everyone says that. People thought I looked like her as well when I had my pixie. I don’t mind as she’s beautiful. I love me some Fantasia ☺️❤️
I’ve watched your hair videos for a good minute. I’m still amazed at how you’re able to make the tiniest parts, and create your curls. You have definitely mastered your styling technique!
Your hair looks amazing! I have used all types of gels over the years of being natural including this one. They all made my hair flake 😭.. The only gel that i can use now is Michelle products including her gel. Sista you rock this style!! ❤️❤️
Love this video and I love big Papa. I've got the same and I love it. I'm so glad you're doing better. Health wise keep doing what you're doing. You're doing a great job❤
Girl! Mousse is the enemy of my 4b/4c hair. I use the cremes or gel. I know some people will yell but it also have had to reincoporate hair grease into my routine. I'm perimenopausal and my thyroid has long since been removed. It eliminates the crunch and the curls are uber defined.
My hair loves mousse. It gives me so much definition and hold. I don’t mind the crunch as it softens after a couple of days. But mousse can definitely be a little drying. That’s why it’s good to use oil as well to help seal in moisture. I don’t mess with no grease though. Only time I use grease is to protect my skin when I’m coloring my hair. Grease does nothing but clog your pores and keep moisture from getting into your scalp as oil not a moisturizer, but a sealant. With the exception of a few.
❤I also was diagnosed with Thyroid disease and I had to cut my sisterlocks due to the crown area was becoming thin. Now I have a short natural look. I recently found out about this product and I loved the results. Thanks for sharing your positive results. I will be looking into a shampoo from the same company. Love the results
I just subbed because I enjoy hearing your voice! And when you said you just turned 40 my jaw dropped because you look amazing for 40. Gorgeous hair and all ❤
So glad i found your channel. I just did my own tapered cut after watching your tutorial. My big chop was 2009 and just wanted to chop with a style easy to maintain. Gorgeous hair and thanks for this review. Going out to buy that gel cuz the loc method made my cut look a mess
Thank you for demonstrating how to use the 3-row comb. Mine arrived last Saturday. I love how you defined the coils after running the comb through your hair. I had a mini addiction to the Doux's Mousse Def, but it was too drying. I'm leaning toward Big Poppa because of your demo.🥰🥰 Mousse was magic. Maybe I'll find magic again with Big Poppa.
I’ve been seeing your photos for years on Pinterest and Instagram and note have found your RUclips channel 🎊 🎉. Always loved your short hair and clothing 💙
Hey Lady 👋🏾👋🏾 love love love the video. Your hair is indeed shiny and juice lol🔥🔥 you make hair styling look so seamless :) I'll def be givig this gel a try. I feel you on aging and hair changing. I hit the big 47 and the middle to the front of my hair drastically thinned 😱 so now i have 2 textured hair; thin & very soft in the middle & front and thick and "kinky"on the sides & back 🤦🏾 to top it off, my edges are receding 😢 I'm hoping with the help of my dermatologist, it won't progress 🙏🏾 Anywho, love the video. Thank you always for fir sharing your knowledge and expertise with us. P.s do you always use a diffuser to dry your hair? Or do you sometimes use the hood dryer? Have a great weekend.
I was just looking at some of this Bataan mask oil I think it was. How long did it take for you to start seeing results ? where was your thinning if you don’t mind me asking?.. mine is the crown of my head
Glad to kno about this newer model sponge bcuz the older models breaks hair. The hair would get stuck in the sponge. Thanks for this video as my hair is ur length an i didn't know where to start.
Hey Sis, I am so glad that I ran into your channel. I saw another video on this gel yesterday and I immediately got it after work😂. I am going to try it this weekend ❤ Your hair look nice and juicy. Love the cut and the style. I love the final results. Thanks for sharing. New subscriber for sure❤❤. I do have a RUclips channel also, pass by and show some love❤. I will definitely a review when I use it. I wish I checked on Amazon first because the gel is cheaper there😢❤❤
It’s normal for a gel to make your hair crunchy and a little stiff, that’s its job- to give hold. It softens up after a few days. I’ve been using this gel for months and MY HAIR loves it.
The shrinkage is so real. I think your hair grows so fast and it look so healthy
Thank you so much. It really does grow fast. Everyone always thinks that I cut it again. But the shrinkage is serious!
The patience you have; your hair came out so good.

Fabulous! I love the idea of one product!😊
This is incredible all in one. Life changee
Cute. It’s perimenopause that’s why it’s thinning. But will improve once the menopause cycle finishes.
Hi, love your hair and appreciate the video. What do you use to protect your style at bedtime 🌙?
Thank you so much 🫶🏾. I sleep on satin pillowcases and/or wear a satin bonnet
Very nicely done! love your videos!

Thank youuu. I appreciate you!!
I need that black comb
How long does it takes to do your hair? It’s beautiful
LOVE this!!!
Thank you!!
Start using Batana Oil, your hair with grow back. I use it and my bald spot grew back. It’s called Raw Batana Oil
I was just looking at some of this Bataan mask oil I think it was. How long did it take for you to start seeing results ? where was your thinning if you don’t mind me asking?.. mine is the crown of my head
I wonder if this would do equally as well for a roller set on natural hair...
Glad to kno about this newer model sponge bcuz the older models breaks hair. The hair would get stuck in the sponge. Thanks for this video as my hair is ur length an i didn't know where to start.
Cute! Does it flake?
Great video as always

Where do you purchase your 3row comb?
It’s a Denman comb, just got one on Amazon.
I found it, posted the link ⬆️
Amazon
Name of brush??
Looks good. No lie❤
Thanks bunches!
I have shaved sides hair on the top only, a little longer than yours you think this product and the comb still work🤷🏽♀️
Yupppp ☺️
Have you tried Bee Girl? I like it but it gives a crunchy hold
I haven’t tried Bee Girl yet, but I’d like to. I don’t mind a crunchy hold as it usually wears off after a couple of days
@@GlamMzMore Same. Sometimes I spritz with oil. That helps to soften it a bit.
How offen fo trim your hair on top
Thank You ❤

This product is terrible. My hair felt so crunchy and stiff. Don’t waste your money!

Thank you so much. You can sit under the dryer. You can also let it air dry.
