What you said about your hair feeling more course in the middle is actually true sometimes…a lot of people have patches in their head where the hair is different hair textures now for me I’m backwards The middle of my head has the silky curls and the outside of my head is “nappy” and shrinks up a lot They say most people have at least 2 types of hair and some have as many as four different hair types on their head
Love, love it!! Can I suggest smoothing the moisturizer through the strands (root to tip-instead of teasing it in) via a wide tooth comb or denmen brush then SHAKE your head back & forth, side to side (like you did)The curls will pop even more! I’m texturizing next week EXCITED !
Your hair is pretty , I use the same ones just in the box and it makes my hair curly and straight for some reason my mom says we have hair that you can not keep products on there long
Mrs Regina, tysm for this info. I have been a mission for 2 months. You popped up on my feed. I subscribed, I do have a plan for my new style. Tysm, all your vids have helped me.
I always wondered anybody ever used perm rods with the S Curl kit and if so what kind of results they had ? I am thinking about giving it a try with curl perm rods
@@itsreginatv it didn't curl for me i guess i did it wrong 😂😂😂😂😂but I'm not worried I was able to achieve the pixie cut look regarding another video you posted 2 days ago
It is absolutely beautiful....great Job!!! So if i texlaxed my hair with a regular strength relaxer can I touch it up with the product you used, the s curl texturizer?
S curl, relaxer are both in a sense the same type of product (relaxer). So yes you can used the s curl. Some people use relaxers to get the same results as s curl but a mild relaxer, and leave it in for the short length of time. Which is what I have done in the past when I didn't have the s curl product.
You correct I used to use relaxers to kind of like reduce Nappy headed me. Lol and then someone introduced me to texturizers which I've never until now I was 17. I'm 38 now LOL
@@acer8405 NO. If you want to transition from a perm but don't want to cut all your hair off at one time. you can do your roots with the s curl and trim your hair gradually.
I really enjoyed your video, question, what kind s curl can i use? My hair is medium/corse hair and how can I leave it in my hair?and when I go to bed, what can i use?
I'm not quit sure of what you are asking; but my hair was natural when I started using this product. And you have to use this product at your own risk. I myself have never had a problem with it. Hope this helps.
So is it like Jerry curl?? I had 14 inches Locs and had a hysterectomy last year and my emotions and hormones night and day swear it says off the chart .. so I cut all my hair off😮 and I have a tiny fro . So my question this product cause coils to loosen up??? And how often do it need to be done?? Is this still natural or permed?? I never had short hair so I’m trying to figure it out ..
okay here we go. lol😆. yes is loosens your natural curl, no your hair will no longer be considered natural & depending on your hair texture and how fast your hair grow will determine how often you have to touch it up. don't worry i have made videos to cover all of your questions. Thanks for your comment. 👍
Have u tried the regular one ? I have the wave nouveau curly perm but I’m gonna take like a 4 month break then switch to this texturiser but I don’t know if I should buy the regular or extra strength 😩
this is how i did my short hair. I applied it to my roots only then comb it through with a wide tooth comb; the texturizer went to the ends of my hair when you comb through it, I waited till I seen the S pattern then i washed it out. I have a video on how to apply a texturizer. Good Luck
My daughter’s has waist length, thick 4c hair. I tried this last night but her hair came out straight, with patches of curls and patches still natural. How can I get it curly?
I made a video on how to apply the texturizer for longer hair. Now that some parts of her hair is straight and some curly; in my opinion there is nothing that can undo this mishap. Sorry
Really 🤔. You probably left it in to long or used the wrong strength. Sorry to hear that thou. No worries if your hair is short then just scrunch it. Let me know if this helps.
@@itsreginatv thank you so much for responding. I used the regular strength. I tried scrunching it didn't work 😞 is it possible to try again after a few weeks? Or do I have to chop my hair off now?
@@jodyreger No don't chop it off and don't re-apply the texturizer it will only make it straighter and possibly fall out. Just allow the texturizer to grow out and as it does clip your ends. I hope this helps.
I applied this s curl the next day after watching this video. I'm actually commenting on this today because I just wanted to watch it. But when I apply this texturizer in my hair I watch your video step-by-step and I paused your video if I was a little slow keeping up. I was natural and I really didn't have edges. But this is febuary 13th and I had applied the cream last month on the 15th, and baby I got edges I don't know if the s curl makes your hair grow or the products that you have to use daily for the s curl. But I got hair and I'm definitely using it again in the middle of March on my 8th week I'm just going to do a little touch up. But I love it this is going to be my new natural but I would never tell someone that I'm natural because I'm not anymore. My natural is a afro this right here is like a Jerry curl to me but I love it. And thank you y'all also check her other video out when she showing you everything to use after you process your hair. And if it's your first time make sure you follow step-by-step watching her video. And if the video is going too fast for you remember you always got a pause button. Thank you Miss Regina we love you.

Most my hair be relaxed to be able to use this? And is the free curl compulsory ?
I'm not quit sure of what you are asking; but my hair was natural when I started using this product. And you have to use this product at your own risk. I myself have never had a problem with it. Hope this helps.
Gooday! Do you make it stay in your hair for 12 minutes?.....
Depending on what you are trying to achieve with your hair and the texture of your hair, that will determine how long to leave it on. Hope this helps.
Does the s curl last long ??? Is it like a texturizer ?
It last awhile for me. i texturize my hair maybe every 3 to 4 month usually. Good Luck 🙂🙏

Regular is best cause extra strength burns like hell.
I use regular because it gives you more time to apply and comb it through properly. Getting it to strong will only make your hair straighter too fast.

Target, some drug stores or just about any local beauty supply store

I don't know why people say to leave it on for no more than 5 minutes. I had to do 10-20.
you have to consider the texture of the persons hair and the strength of the texturizer the individual decides to use. Thanks for sharing. 🙂👍
Can you put that on top of hair that has been relaxed with a relaxer
Regular. regular gives you more time to apply it and comb it through. if you get it to strong you run a great chance of it being straight. Good luck
