    It’s your hair. You can do whatever you want with it. And you don’t have to explain. And just because you relax your hair, it does not mean that you don’t like your hair or that you are trying to be someone other than yourself. Enjoy!

    Tip for those who want to do this: with relaxer ALWAYS start with the ends of the hair and do the roots last. The hair at the root processes very quickly because of the heat from your scalp. So if you do the roots first they will typically end up over processed

    • @Sheabuttahbaby
      @Sheabuttahbaby 2 года назад +3

      Also bc the roots process faster so it's best to do the ends first so you can let it sit long as you need to.

    Texlaxing is more difficult than normal relaxing. You have to time it. Other wise you will get different results . Let somebody help and rinse the first part out at a certain time and don't forget that some parts of your hair can have a lower porosity than other parts. And under processing is not always better if you have to use heat afterwards.

    I use Mega Growth it’s from the same company (profective) I love all their products. That’s the only relaxer so far that don’t smell like ammonia. There are others but I trust this product because it always work for me. But honey this is your hair and I understand 4c hair is hard to manage. To you don’t have to apologize for something you needed to do. Next time watch videos to see how to put a relaxer in properly. Plus, don’t twist your hair with a relaxer in it.

    • @bisolajacobson

      To get just looser curls,you have to use a texturizer not relaxer,or leave the relaxer in for just 5minute instead of 10minute...❤️

    Do what you want with your hair.for years I did my locs auburn,deep red etc because of people thinking they could police how light my hair can be.
    I wanted my locs a warm blonde and over sessions I got it strawberry honey blonde.
    Guess what half the folks talking about others hair have none ,its damaged,nutritional deficiencies and if they regularly smoke or drink thier hair is going to thin and eventually start thinning and falling out!
    I don't have the best hair but it grows an inch to inch and a half every month,most people get 1/2 inch so my hair is good😂😂.
    All hair is damaged hence treatments and moisture to keep it from breaking and reducing shed which is the hair strand becoming deceased😅

    It's great that you're happy. However, you still need a trim. That was probably one of the reasons why you got frustrated with your natural hair, your soil ends were causing tangles. But even now that your hair is texlaxed, I advice you trim for a healthier and fuller look.
