Wow!! I love my hair after texturizing with Texture My Way. I applied the product and rinsed after 6 minutes. My curls are popping just the way I wanted them to be. I give this products 5 STARS.

OMG I have been contemplating about doing a texturizer on my hair because my hair is exactly like yours when it's short I can manipulate it to get some good curls but once it grows out it is way hard to get any definition of curls because of how thick my hair is but now I know the solution thank you for this video **and for those of you saying the title is misleading maybe you should take a reading class yes a texturizer is a chemical process I'm pretty sure she knows that she bought the product**

I know this video is a dated but so glad I found it!!! My hair has been so dry and just yuck since they took my favorite thing off the market. (Shine gel) Couldn’t find anything for shine and softness. Every product (curl activator) I used felt like I put motor oil in my hair. Lol 😂 so thanks 🙏🏽 so very much!!! Hair look gorgeous again now. It's in the same family as a relaxer but "no lye" it's a chemical. After 31/2 yrs of being natural I've opted to texturize mines and love it. It saves me time and that's my priority at this time in my life. Just an fyi...

Also, washing your hair with a mixture that contains baking soda, oils, conditioners(idk if that has a name already) helps to define your hair and clean it very well naturally!

Betonite clay (do not add apple cider vinegar just water with lil bit of oil) extra virgin olive oil (to seal and soften) and natural gel (kinky curl gel). I do this every day to 3 day and my 4c curls are poppin. No chemicals needed 😁😁
How long does this last? Is it like having a relaxer in your hair? Also can you colour your hair afterwards? Is this like a Geri curl with the oil in it?
We as black women have always been told and felt that what we naturally have isn't viewed as beautiful....which is why the natural hair movement is so beautiful. Women working with what they have, with the texture they've been given. As beautiful as you are....and you are drop dead gorgeous, you could rock your natural texture and it would inspire so many of us. But to do what we've always done and change what you have, calling it 4C when you've actually attracted 4C women to only tell them to texturize their hair and make it 3B, is just sad. You have a platform. Please use it to inspire.
My hair texture is 3B/3C (just in case you look at my picture and think I perm my hair....I DO NOT). 3B/3C natural hair is just as beautiful as 4C hair, along with all the ranges of natural hair we've been blessed with. After watching this video, women with 4C hair will start considering texturizes instead of learning to LOVE the hair the media tells them to HATE.

You do know that 4c hair is the curliest hair texture right? That's what makes a "nap" because the curl pattern is so tight.

A texturizer..is just CURLY PERM...smh, hence Not NATURAL.
Natural hair has no perm or textuizer, which, like a perm, chemically alters the texture of your hair.
Natural to me means without wigs or weave. What makes you think I didn't know that a texturizer is chemicals. Sit down.
We as black women have always been told and felt that what we naturally have isn't viewed as beautiful....which is why the natural hair movement is so beautiful. Women working with what they have, with the texture they've been given. As beautiful as you are....and you are drop dead gorgeous, you could rock your natural texture and it would inspire so many of us. But to do what we've always done and change what you have, calling it 4C when you've actually attracted 4C women to only tell them to texturize their hair and make it 3B, is just sad. You have a platform. Please use it to inspire.
My hair texture is 3B/3C (just in case you look at my picture and think I perm my hair....I DO NOT). 3B/3C natural hair is just as beautiful as 4C hair, along with all the ranges of natural hair we've been blessed with. After watching this video, women with 4C hair will start considering texturizes instead of learning to LOVE the hair the media tells them to HATE.
